Daily Angel Card, from the Gaia Oracle Card deck, by Toni Carmine Salerno: Reflection

Reflection: “Illusion, Self-examination, Distortion.”

“What you see around you mirrors what you feel within you. The chaos you perceive or experience in your physical reality simply reflects your inner chaos and turmoil. If things are not working well in your outer world, what is it that is not working well within you? This card calls for a thorough self examination. Do not merely skim the surface. You must delve deep to uncover the truth. This will take time, patience and commitment. Observe your thoughts and feeling throughout the day and make a note of negative or un-constructive thoughts and feelings. This practice, over time, will in itself help heal and restore balance to your life. It may be helpful to keep a diary in which you note your thoughts and feelings, what is it that triggers these thoughts and feelings; what is it that triggers these thoughts and feelings? Journal writing will also hep provided that the journal is for your eyes only. It may also be helpful to seek professional advice from a qualified counselor or health practitioner who has experience in this field. Commit to this reflective journey, be disciplined in your approach and you will never look back. The rewards will be greater than you ever imagined.

Affirmation:

My heart is full of love and light

All is well in my world

I feel the peace within me and this creates peace around me

I observe all I think and feel

Each negative thought or feeling is automatically transformed to love”*

Ask for help from the Angels in transmuting negative thoughts to positive, especially if you are finding your inner dialogue to be a constant barrage of negative thoughts towards yourself; those thoughts are toxic to you! It’s imperative that you implement positive thinking and change your thoughts to match your desires for  your future life. Use affirmations to help you reprogram your mind with positive thought and eventually they will come naturally. Whenever you find yourself thinking a negative thought, immediately catch yourself and turn it around. If you have trouble with this concept, or it feels really unnatural to you, then start the affirmation off with the statement “I am in the process of” and then fill in the blank. For example, if you use the affirmation “I am my perfect weight” or “I am losing weight” but there is a part of your mind that says “Ya right, you just ate a cookie” and sabotages all your affirming efforts, then try “I am in the process of making healthier choices that will help me reach my ideal weight” or “I love my body and nourish it will healthy choices”. It takes the pressure off and opens your mind to possibility. If you are up to your eyeballs in debt and you are affirming “I am wealthy and successful” there may be a part of your mind that pipes up saying “Ya right, you have no money” or whatever. So instead, try “I am in the process of manifesting money to simply and effectively pay all my bills” or “I am in the process of becoming independently wealthy and financially free”. Have FUN with it… make it a positive and uplifting experience. As you lighten up, you will attract more and more of what you want in your life, losing the blocks along the way.

Oh, and don’t forget to believe in yourself, as ANYTHING really is possible when you know it is!!
