synchronicity

Daily Angel Oracle Card, from the Magical Mermaids and Dolphins Oracle Card deck, by Doreen Virtue, Ph.D: Synchronicity

Synchronicity: “Your prayers and questions are being answered by synchronistic events. Notice them in order to increase their flow.”

“As a result of all your prayers and manifestation work., you are now attracting synchronistic events. Those “chance meetings,” information that you just “happen” to receive, and other synchronicities are really answered prayers. By drawing this card, Heaven calls our attention to the synchronicity and seredipity happening in your life. The more you notice these magial events, the more they will occur for you. Even better, write them down in a journal as a way to stimulate more synchronicity in your life.

You may already know that there are no coincidental or accidental occurrences. This card reflects your recent focus on positive thoughts, which are being directed toward your desires. Like a magical energy beam that can influence physical objects, your optimism and faith are reshaping your life into a masterpiece that reflects your higher self.”*

Well, talk about synchronicity!!! I was drawn to the Magical Mermaids and Dolphins Oracle cards for this reading as I just can’t stop thinking about the dolphins and whales in Taiji, Japan. I am doing everything in my power to send the dolphins and whales pure love, light, healing and protective energy. I am so passionate about this, I feel that I must work to make a difference. Thank you Angels for manifesting Unlimited Resources for me to rescue the dolphins and whales of the world. I don’t yet know exactly how I am going to do this, but I know that I am. Period.

When I turned 21, my parents bought me my open water diving certification course, it changed my life!! I took the course in the cold waters of the coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada in January. The visibility was pretty good except for the sand that we all kicked up learning to control our buoyancy. Pretty much every fish, crab and creature was scared away in a mile radius by the over eager newbies but I loved every minute of breathing under water. Over the next couple of years I progressed from open water, to advanced, rescue, dive master and finally, PADI dive instructor. I moved to Mexico, then the Bahamas, and Bermuda and traveled to Costa Rica, Honduras, Belize, Hawaii, Micronesia, Guam, Florida, and California.

My very first live aboard dive trip was Port Hardy BC, at the top of Vancouver Island. The water is cold and clear, the tides are fast and there is an abundance of sea life. It was amazing. I got in the water with a huge pod of White Sided dolphins, they were all around me. I was snorkeling, not diving and in a dry suit. I could have stayed there all day. The first day I dove in Belize I saw three dolphins in the waters just off Roatan; the first day I dove in Cozumel I saw three dolphins in the water. I worked on a live aboard dive boat in the Bahamas which traveled to and from Nassau; we often saw dolphins during our travels and dives and they had an amazing energy in the water.

I went from being a dive instructor, to learning underwater videography, which I loved. The very last video I took was right before I left Bermuda, five months pregnant with my daughter I jumped in the water with a Humpback Whale and her calf, snorkeling and took a couple of minutes of video footage. Never did I feel that I was chasing, bothering or disturbing these amazing animals, I was respectful and kept my distance. I was always in awe of their exceptional beauty and grace. When I stopped diving (for the meantime, til the kids are older), I had over 4000 dives. I had moments where I was underwater and I had to consciously think, “Oh ya, I’m under water”, it became one and the same to me. I had amazing animal experiences, I saw things I will never forget and I felt like I belonged in the ocean.

I miss those days, but I am grateful for the life I have now. I am grateful for the opportunity to help my beloved creatures of the ocean, and I am grateful for the Angels for their help, support and guidance. One day I will return to the water, with my kids. We had one chance for a couple of weeks two years ago in Hawaii, swimming with turtles and admiring Humpbacks from the shore and boats, but I plan to get back in the water one day, and until then, I will find a way to help from land.

Angel Therapy ~ Set Your Sights Higher

Daily Angel Card, from the Magical Mermaids and Dolphins Oracle Card Deck, by Doreen Virtue, Ph.D. ~ Set Your Sights Higher

Set Your Sights Higher: “Increase your standards, and expect more for yourself. Don’t settle!”

“This card indicates that you have been trying to rationalize that some situation is OK… when it is not. You have settled for less than you desire, and for much less than you deserve. You do not need to compromise! Heaven will help you heal, or will replace troubling situations in your life. All you need to do is ask for Heaven’s help, and then adhere to the guidance that results.

Take time today to visualize and dream about your true heart’s desires. Do not worry about being disappointed-you deserve a great life, and you have the power and the Heavenly help to accomplish it! Fear and worries slow down your manifestation, so keep releasing all cares and doubts to Heaven.

You may feel intimidated by moving up to a higher plateau in your journey; however, you have Heaven’s reassurance that you are ready. Reach for the stars, know that you are qualified and deserving of these gifts, and open your arms to receive them!”*

It’s so easy for us to fear that if we ask too much, it may all be taken away. I have a girlfriend who tells me she’s afraid to talk about the good things in her life as she may “jinx” them, and thus, they will all be snatched away. Why do we feel like this? Probably because there are unexplained crisises that do happen to people, and when we see them on the media, or hear a story from a friend, it’s often presented with “things were going so well, and then ________ happened.” As if, just because things were going well, they had to be punished. Not so. Yes, unfortunately there are unforseen events that contain seemingly negative circumstances; people have accidents or illnesses, people lose family members and finances crumble. But now for the truth. We are Divinely guided, if we choose to see that guidance. We are supported. We are unlikely to live perfect lives, free of any “casualties” as there are important, and sometimes painful lessons that we are here to learn. We may also have Karma coming back at us, the biggest teacher of all. Sometimes these lessons start out with a whisper, then a nudge, and followed by a little shove in the right direction before everything goes “pear shaped” as my British friends like to say. Sometimes it just comes out of left field. Agreed. But living in fear robs us of our present time. It steals the life away from us as we are living it; and it’s so insidious that we may not even see it happening, as we are so preoccupied with our endless worry. Now I get to say one of my favourite quotes of all time… “Worrying is like praying for what you don’t want.” Yes, thoughts are things. Now, I can hear you thinking right now, ya, I was totally positive that time and nothing worked out the way I wanted it to. But there is a big difference between just being positive with an underlying fear of “if I’m not positive it will all go wrong” or “here I am being positive but it probably won’t amount to anything, things never work out the way I want them to.” Getting it yet?

Set your sights…. higher. Expect miracles. Look for clues. Find signs everywhere you look. Have faith. Believe that you are worthy of all your dreams coming true. Baby steps, use positive affirmations to get you where you need to go. Lastly? Read this book: E Squared by Pam Grout, one of the best books ever on this topic in my opinion! Simple, concise, well researched, and totally doable experiments in having an extraordinary life!

Divine Magic and Blessed Change

Daily Angel Cards, from Magical Mermaids and Dolphins by Doreen Virtue, Ph.D: Divine Magic and Blessed Change

This is an auspicious day for sure! Whenever I draw the “Divine Magic” card, from that means that I get to draw another card, and that Divine Magic is in the works!

Divine Magic: “Extra magical energy surrounds your situation right now. Expect Miracles!”

“This card signifies that the next oracle card you pull out of the deck is surrounded by Divine magical energy. The Divine Magic card urges you to pay very special attention to this card, and do your best to follow it’s message.

The Divine Magic card indicates that a spiritual gateway has opened for you. At such times, your ability to manifest is heightened. Use this time to focus upon your desires. If you are unsure what you truly want, ask for Divine guidance through prayer, meditation, or ritual.”*

Blessed Change: “A major life change brings you great blessings.”

“Although you may feel as if your life is upside down right now, everything that is occurring is for the best. This card assures you that the changes in your life are actually helping you leave behind that which no longer serves you. Your spiritual purpose with the old situations is now complete. You are urged to stay centered in grace and acceptance. Keep affirming: “I welcome Divinely inspired change, and I stay centered in the eye of the hurricane as change occurs around and within me. All change is for my highest good. I know that love is stable and always provides for me and my loved ones-no matter what our outer situations appear to be.

Change ushers in fresh opportunities to learn, grow, prosper, and create new relationships. The key is to keep breathing and enjoy the changes, even if they are intimidating. If the Universe pushes you toward new responsibilities, know that you are qualified in Heaven’s eyes.”*

Well, I feel that this is a very special reading. After losing a friend a few days ago, and then having an ER trip yesterday with my son due to a fairly intense allergic reaction, it’s been a rocky week. Last night was the first time I have slept well in about a week. The hives are almost gone, which is a huge relief, although the void left by my girlfriend will be with those who love her for life.

Change is in the air, with less than a week of summer left and we are back to the fall routine of school, skating, swimming, regular exercise and some cleansing on my part to regain clarity. I am enjoying every bit summer has to offer while inhaling fall on the evening breeze. Change is welcome to me, and what better change than blessed change, supported entirely by the Divine.

I want to mention that I got the guts up to post on Doreen Virtue’s Facebook page about a new Facebook page I have started with the intention that everyone world wide can post positive prayers to help heal the Earth and those around us. It’s called World Wide Prayer Circle and I ask for your support and interaction. I am often devastated by news of the Oceans in trouble, oil spills, dolphin deaths, radiation, pollution and garbage. I want a way for someone like me, a Mother of two, coming from a family of Ocean lovers, to help from afar. What better way than asking for Divine help? While I chose these cards, this was weighing on my mind and I promise you, I actually heard seagulls out my window. I listened with my eyes closed and then ran outside. Just as I stepped out and closed the door I could hear then receding into the distance. We do live on an Island, but not close to the ocean, in fact, we are in a very rural area, with horses, and farms and fields. There aren’t usually seagulls in this area, we do get the odd eagle, but mostly crows, ravens and owls. I’m taking it as a sign that my idea will work, that we really can help the Earth and her precious oceans and the creatures living in them. It’s worth a shot!
