Daily Angel Oracle Card: Nurture, from the Whispers Of Lord Ganesha Oracle Card deck, by Angela Hartfield, artwork by Ekaterina Golovanova

Nurture: “Focus on creating a calm and balanced life for yourself.”

“Ganesha asks you to maintain a compassionate, nurturing, realistic and down to earth attitude when it comes to collaborating with others and your present conditions. You can benefit from being more resourceful and practical. This is a time of slowing down and biding your time and resources. Deal with any issues as they arise, and brainstorm practical and easy solutions that will fix the problem with minimal drama.

Be careful of giving too much, without regard for your own needs. If you have been feeling exhausted or have been prone to illness, you are invited to stop doing so much for others and do more for you at this time. Do not seek empowerment by doing for others from a place of needing acknowledgment. Empower yourself by nurturing yourself and then, from a healthy place, help others.

Learn to nurture and to create occasions for others to grow by offering a safe, accommodating energy. This energy is the energy of the heart chakra. As your life comes more into alignment with your soul purpose, you bring this nurturing and unconditional love beyond your immediate surroundings and out into the world.

The female figure in this card is Ganesha’s mother, Parvati. She represents a strong female figure in your life that you may look to for extra support and guidance. this could be any female role model, friend or acquaintance that you find yourself drawn to at this time. Alternatively, Parvati can represent a part of yourself, especially when much of your time is spent focusing on the nurturing and caring of others.”*

~ By Angela Hartfield

If your energies are feeling scattered, or you are feeling stretched in too many directions at once, it is time to pull back in. We take on too much, we look after every one else’s needs and put them before our own, and we end up feeling exhausted and depleted. Sometimes we do this because we are trying to avoid conflict, sometimes we are seeking approval through making others happy, and sometimes we have just taken on too much responsibility. Maybe we are using looking after others as a distraction so that we don’t have the time or energy to deal with what is going on in our own lives. Maybe we are using it to heal guilt or shame. And maybe we simply find ourselves in that certain stage of life at this time… having young children, aging parents or a new business that just takes up all our time and energy.

If possible, take some time for self-care. Take a break from all that you have going on in your life; and from the worries and stress these people or issues may create. When we take a little break, it not only assists us physically and emotionally to recharge our batteries and build up our strength and energy stores; it also helps us to shift our perspective.

Seek the counsil of a a “wise elder,” someone who has been through what you have been through, and can either help you or give you some sage advice. Accept help when it is offered, and do not feel guilty for needing assistance. Do some research and see if you can find a simple solution to streamline any challenges without allowing them to throw you too far off track.

Ganesha is the breaker of obstacles and he is here to assist us in finding a simple, accessible path on our journey. Ask him to stay by your side and show the way.

Daily Angel Oracle Card: The Shekinah, from the Keepers Of The Light Oracle Card deck, by Kyle Gray, Artwork by Lily Moses

The Shekinah: “Sacred Self”

“Unleash your Spirit. Express your gifts. Dance to the sacred rhythm of life.”

“The Shekinah is the twin flame of the Holy Spirit. It is the female aspect of the God particle or creation energy. ‘She’ is more of an essence than a being, but has the ability to show ‘herself’ in ways that we will understand. She is acknowledged in the sacred teachings of Judaism and also called ‘the Sophia of Christ’ in the Gnostic gospels. She is a powerful female voice of spirit who is here to bring about equality and to help the world move on from the male-only image of God. She reminds us that God is all loving and all accepting. Whenever she appears in a reading, she points out the change makers, the love creators and the gift sharers of the world, who are here to unite all hearts around the world.”

Extended Message of The Shekinah: “Do not feel the need to hold back or dampen your spirit – this is a time to celebrate. There is a feeling of dance and joy around you at this time as you fully recognize your splendour. You are a scared being who defies gravity every day just by being alive and brings a sense of balance and equality to the world.”*

~ By Kyle Gray

This is a powerful time. We have a new moon and a solar eclipse; both are intense and creative energies, together they are a powerhouse. This is the time to set your intentions and aim past the stars and far out into the Universe and beyond; do not hold back on your dreams.

Unbuckle your seat belt and get right out of the car. Unplug from your current reality, from technology, from the media, from obligation and responsibility… even if just for a few minutes… and dare to dream your wildest, most passionate and abundant dreams. Get out into the forest, go to the beach, climb a mountain if you can. Get as far out of your routine, your thought patterns, your doubts and fears and belief systems as possible. Shake up the energy. Show the Universe you are ready for your transformation by changing something today, right now. Eat differently… healthier, lighter, better. Meditate. Make some music. Move your body; dance, do some yoga. Write a list of dreams in big, bold colourful letters and put it somewhere you can see it, or carry it with you in your pocket and look at it often. Make a vision board with enthusiasm and excitement as if you are 5 years old and are making a Christmas list to send to Santa. Do something extraordinary, or at least out of Your ordinary. Something that makes your blood run faster. Something that makes you blush. Something that makes you smile.

Run. Hop. Skip. Jump…If you are able. Sing out loud. Hug someone. Tell someone you love them. Offer help. Grin from ear to ear.

Throw your hands in the air, tilt your head back to the dark night sky and let the Universe know you are ready, loud and clear.

Things are shifting, can you feel it? Can you become a part of it? Can you lead us forward fearlessly into Love and Joy?

Forward into the new dimension of consciousness?

Can you see, can you feel…we are already here?

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Six of Anthames, from the Green Witch Tarot, by Ann Moura, artwork by Kiri Ostergaard Leonard

Six of Anthames: “The card shows steady progress is being made and a difficult time is passing. The person is moving toward smoother waters, leaving worries and upsets behind. There is a sense of peace of mind and tranquility, yet there could be a feeling of sadness that things did not work out as originally anticipated. This may be especially true if a physical move or change of employment is indicated in the reading. This card can also represent a journey with positive results for alleviating current problems, worries, or dangers. Because the change may be imposed due to circumstances beyond one’s control, there may be a sense of loss, of having to leave something behind. Nevertheless, this is a positive and ultimately soothing transition, whether physical, material, c=emotional, or intellectual. Things will improve, and soon there will be a feeling of relief and hope for a better future. Conflicts are being left behind and one is moving to calmer waters. Victory over adversity is handled with dignity, ad may stem from having made a decision with calm consideration. A difficult time is passing and troubles are being left behind. There is a much needed break from troubles, and time alone or with close family or friends to sort things out and make plans for future goals. This is also a card of vacations and travels, possibly overseas.

Mustard, for travel, money protection and strength, grows on the riverbank. The horse, a symbol of travel, cooperation, power, and renewal, stands beside the traveler.

Meaning of Six of Anthames Card: “Steady progress, improvement, overcoming difficulties, sorting things out, troubles left behind, a tranquil journey, success after worries and anxieties, new opportunities, sacrifices bringing success.”

Six of Anthames as Challenger: “Turmoil, displacement, delays, unable to get away from you problems, need to handle a turbulent situation.”

Prompt Words: “Steady progress, leaving your troubles behind.”*

~ by Ann Moura

There is definitely a feeling in the image of this card of crossing over the waters and coming into greener pastures. Water symbolizes feelings and emotional states of mind; when we cross the waters, we have moved through the emotions and can see clearly. The shore ahead is well within reach; we can be confident that joy awaits us, as does a new found confidence symbolized by the yellow colour of the flowers. The look of the shore behind us is wintery and sparse; uninviting, the grass is dry and the tree has lost its leaves. The new shore we are coming to is lush with greenery and flowers, which tells us also that abundance and prosperity is available to us in the very near future. These are all very auspicious signs!

The journey is over, and we are ready to start something new. Notice that the traveler looks ahead, and not behind him. The past is gone and we are looking ahead at what is in store for us. He is also traveling with only himself and his horse. This is not an adventure so much of material gain, as one of the Soul; the tools you require on this journey are all within you, not outside of you. The horse is a symbol of change, freedom, strength, joy and power. The hand of the traveler on the back of the horse is a sign that he is well connected to all of these aspects of himself.

Take this message as a sign that you are on the right path; that your journey is about to get a little wilder, a little more spirited and way more exciting; yet there will be confidence, capability, abundance and prosperity. So basically, all of the bases are covered.

Step into the energy of the eclipse and the new moon tomorrow with grace and ease as you start a brand new magical chapter of your life.

And so it is

Ascended Master Lao Tzu and Zincite: “Descending Power”

“We bring you the blessing of descending power. This is the powerful downward current of energy that allows for manifestation, for strengthening of the spiritual connection to the body, and of bringing your light to the Earth. In the spiritual tradition, there is much emphasis on energy rising; yet without the balance of descending power, you will feel lost in your mind, scattered in your thinking and frustrated in your efforts to see the inspired ideas you receive translated into completed tasks in the physical world. The uprising power helps you shift frequencies and access inspiration, whilst the descending power helps you ground to create. There is a time and a place for both the rising and the descending currents of diving energy. You are guided to attend at this time to the descending power to make best progress on your life journey.”

“There are entire modalities in the spiritual path dedicated to the raising of the vital energies from the lower to the upper chakras. For those that are anchored in the material world, cannot connect with genuine inner feeling of the heart, lack sensitivity to subtle energies, and perhaps have closed off their minds to worlds of spirit beyond what they can perceive through their five senses, then this is useful indeed. Raising energy will help dislodge fearful attachment to the Earth plane, and allow the presence of spirit to become more real, whilst new ideas and inspirations can impress themselves upon the mind.

However, what about those already upwardly mobile, spiritually speaking? Such people already have open and stimulated higher chakras. This tends to mean having an open mind, and often some kind of belief in spirit or a philosophy of some sort that works for them, that helps them feel they have some sort of purpose or valuable contribution to make to the world (even if they are still working out the details of what that contribution or purpose may be). They often have more ideas than they know what to do with. They perceive a lot and are often sensitive to energy, including the thoughts and feelings of other people, animals, and even the Earth herself. Yet there can be great frustration in translating those extraordinary perceptions into material reality in the form of projects, tasks and a clear sense of purpose made practical. These people will already feel moved by their hearts and have words of wisdom to express. What they need is to be drawn down into the world to be able to find a form through which they can share their spiritual treasures, not pushed upwards for more when what already exists has not been put to full use.

This is the gift of the descending power. It is the reorientation for the more spiritually inclined (and those that need more physical energy after an illness, long emotional struggle or other challenge) so that vitality can be generated. It brings clarity and refreshment to the mind and allows for the body to feel really alive, joyful and in sensual appreciation for manifest creation – the air on the skin, the scent of flowers, the beautiful sound of birds calling, or the sight of a powerful tree. To be able to take in sensory healing from the physical world requires the downward current. There must be descending power for you to feel grounded, to be able to act in constructive and practical ways to support your inspired ideas, and to fall in love with life, not just in the fantasy of what could be. Descending power gives you energy and peace, happiness, and a sense of connection and presence in the world.

The descending power begins with intention. Any kind of grounding is an act of will, especially for those that find it easier to fly free and soar amongst the stars, the world of ideas or the realms of subtle energies. The best way to access the gift of descending power is to put your mind in your lower body. For some this will feel nearly impossible at first, but it will become easy with practice. Do not become dissuaded if you find this is the case for you. You have accomplished awareness in the upper chakras – something that is truly magnificent and many others are just beginning to work on! Well done! Now you get to bring the joy of spirit down into your body and your world. This is a beautiful journey, from the head to the heart to the hips. It helps you feel like your spirit and your soul, and your body, are all working together in harmony. This creates energy and power for your path. So put your mind, your attention, your awareness in your hips, your belly, your legs and your feet. Get to know those parts of your body. Talk to them. Tell them you love them. Touch them. Make friends with your lower body. The magnetism of the descending power will then be activated more fully and all the benefit of this comes to you.”*

~ By Alana Fairchild

One of my favourite ways to ground is to get out into the forest and quite literally hug a nice big beautiful tree! Although even just putting your hands on the tree really helps, esp if you are in a public park or for whatever reason are uncomfortable wrapping yourself around one! However, if this does not dissuade you, then I say go for it and put your whole body into it; aligning your chakras from third eye to sacral against the trunk of the tree.

First, find “your” tree and take some time to connect. Take a few deep breaths. Feel the presence of the Spirit of the tree, and ask it if it would like to connect with you. If you feel this is the right tree, go ahead and embrace it. Close your eyes and feel the bark on the palms of your hands as you align yourself with the trunk. How does it feel against your heart chakra? Focus on your feet and imaging roots growing out from the soles of each foot and penetrating down into the Earth, spiraling down together with the roots of the tree. What do you see with your third eye chakra when you place it on the tree, closing your eyes and opening your mind? Are there any images, symbols or messages coming through? Spend a few minutes “listening” with all of your senses, grounding, breathing, realigning and assimilating these energies. Trees are powerful healers.

When you are done, bless the tree and offer a gift; something natural like a rock or crystal, a drop of essential oil, or a flower. Send thanks for the healing that you have received. Go back to the tree when you can to reconnect, ground, heal and expand your awareness. This is a great tool for children too, especially ones who have trouble focusing, are considered to have attention deficit problems, or are in need of reconnecting to the natural world after too much screen time.

Daily Angel Oracle Card: The Magician, from The Wisdom Seeker’s Tarot, by David Fontana

The Magician: “The Magician challenges us not to be deceived by the transient, material world. He shows us that life is a magical act, and our mind the magician. He is a showman, a mysterious stranger who captivates the crowd by sleight of hand, as well as by real magic, reminding us that the mind can be deceived by delusions of spiritual grandeur masquerading as the real thing.

On The Magician’s magical, floating table is an array of objects symbolizing the mental clutter that prevents us from self exploration. However, his magic wand, pointing both “above and below” – the occult expression of the unity of Heaven and Earth – hints that he can make the objects vanish. The Magician’s number is one, the symbol of a new beginning, and the brim of his hat forms a figure of eight, the symbol of infinity and the eternal cycle of life.

When you are working with this card, try to ask yourself: “How can I begin to shift my focus in life from external things to my inner self?” By looking inward you can discover greater treasure than you can ever find in the material world.”*

~By David Fontana

Do not get sucked into the drama playing out on every television, every radio station, every internet news report and at least half of social media right now. Yes, we all know what is going on. No, we don’t agree with most of it. But how do we refuse to live in fear and doubt and find peace in the eye of the storm?

We look for the magic within.

The outer world is only a mirror for the inner world. If we can heal ourselves, individually and then collectively, we can shift things radically. We will no longer suffer with the current situation which mirrors a world of hierarchy, aka “power over others.”

Our whole existence is being reconfigured, one person at a time. Starting with you. Reading this right now. You, finding the magic and power within You. Trusting in it. Stepping into it fully. Refusing anything less. Releasing all the fears, all the doubts, all the should haves and could haves, and stepping into a much more powerful Now. Finding within you all the wisdom, all the strength, everything you ever looked for outside.

Realizing how important you are to the collective. Realizing that everything else is just smoke and mirrors; illusions that can disappear instantaneously. At once you realize that you are the magician. That you are Infinite. That you are wise. That you are capable of manifesting whatever you put your mind to; focus your intentions on. That you always were, you just forgot, and now, finally, again you remember.

As above; so below. The magician seeks to heal himself, then the Great Mother Earth he stands upon.

Creating a brand new world.

And so it is

Seven Of Water

Published February 22, 2017 by Dee ~ Archangel Oracle
Seven Of Water, from the Dreams Of Gaia Oracle Card deck, by Ravynne Phelan

Seven Of Water, from the Dreams Of Gaia Oracle Card deck, by Ravynne Phelan

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Seven Of Water, from the Dreams Of Gaia Oracle Card deck, by Ravynne Phelan

Seven Of Water: “Knowing, Trust, Faith, Surrender (Control), Release, Peace, Certainty, Passive”

Key Phrases: “Surrender to the flow of life. Relinquish the need to control. All happens as it is meant to. The future will bring what you need, not what you want. Control is an illusion. Your influence on the future is limited. Yield and be flexible. A gentle, passive approach.”

Card Meaning: “The Seven Of Water represents letting go and surrendering to the flow of life, and doing so with complete trust and faith. She is about relinquishing control over all relationships and outcomes, and believing that whatever unfolds in the future is what is meant to be. She has worked diligently in the present, imbuing all she does with her love, so as to create a future that will bring what she needs – to learn, heal, and grow. Now, content and satisfied, because she knows she has done everything she can, she lays back to rest, allowing herself to flow to the next moment and task.

The need to control others, or a situation, is born of fear. Whether that fear is about losing someone or something we love, of being alone, or is simply a fear of failure or missing out, we do what we can do to maintain the illusion that we have control. But control is only an illusion, even if we would like to believe otherwise.

We can make empowered choices, and work with due diligence and dedication. We can create with the purest of intentions, and be motivated by love, but the outcomes we desire will also be influenced by timing, circumstances, and other people – both those close to us and those of whom we had no knowledge. Because of this, we can have only a partial influence, and the rest is up to fate. If we try to exert more influence and control, we risk sabotaging our hopes and desires, and manifesting an outcome that is vastly different to the one desired. How do you hold on to water? The future is not fixed; it is fluid and shifting and so vast with infinite possibilities that it cannot be contained.

Allow it to be.

Detach emotionally, let go of all expectations, and have faith. Don’t invest in speculation, what ifs, maybes, worry or fear.

The Seven Of Water comes to tell you that it is time to take a deep breath and exhale. If you have set your intentions, are motivated by love, and have done all that is necessary here in the present, then it is time to give yourself permission to relax and let go. Embrace a peaceful, receptive, and flowing state that takes you forward on the next stage of your journey. Your future is now in the hands of Fate. “

Potential Blockage: “When The Seven Of Water appears as challenger, she signifies an inability or unwillingness to yield and be flexible. But remember, that which does not bend will eventually break. It is better to achieve your goals by being fluid. Water can find any crack, any opening, and use it to its advantage. If contained, it becomes still and peaceful, calm and waiting. Receptive.

Yes, external forces can make waves and ripples, but when the force is removed, stillness and calm are quickly restored. Release the water from its container, and it will follow the path of least resistance, flowing around, over, or underneath any obstacle in its path and overcoming with natural ease and grace.

If circumstances have made you harder or made you don a protective shell, it is time to allow the river of life to wash your emotional armor away. A gentle, more flowing outlook will serve you better. Soften your stance. Let go of your feelings of resistance, be open to potentialities, and be peaceful. Be like the water and flow.”*

~By Ravynne Phelan

Again we are being asked to step back, be in the natural flow of life, and not to push forward at this time. There is no way to hasten the crop, only to tend to it. Nurture your dreams with positive thoughts, visions, intentions and affirmations. Be patient; rest and relax, knowing that what is yours is coming to you now.

Slow down and enjoy the sensory pleasures of life: music, food, good company, nature, solitude. Breathe deeply. Find as many things and people in your life as you can to be grateful for. Life is good and it is about to get better. Know this deep in your heart. Keep your vibration high to meet with the best reality possible. Use your intuition to guide you on. Surround yourself with positive, loving and supportive people. Turn off your tv, take a break from technology and get present.

See the abundance all around you, and hold space in your heart for more.

Odin: “Guidance”

“Seek guidance to solve and issue. Choose carefully whom you take counsel from. Respect experience; it takes time to develop wisdom and knowledge. Be patient.”

“Odin is perhaps the most honoured of all ancient Norse gods and is referred to as the All Father because of his position as a protector and leader of both gods and humans. He is considered the wisest of all the Gods. The thunder god, Thor, is perhaps the most well-known of Odin’s children.

Odin has an interesting duality, as he is both a god of war and death, and a god of poetry, storytelling and intelligence. Warriors honoured him before battle because they hoped to enter his halls in Asgard if they died. Fathers and teachers, too, honoured him in the hopes that they would be wise and protective for the children in their care. Those who wished to glimpse their futures or gather wisdom though an oracle could us runes – the oracular tool Odin created – which were a series of symbols often carved on bone, wood, or stone. (You can still buy sets of runes today.)

The mighty Odin appears in many wonderful stories, most with a theme of gaining wisdom and accepting wise guidance. Odin is often depicted with only one eye, as he exchanged the other for a sip at the Well of Wisdom when he was traveling to the World Tree, a place of connective power. This enabled him to see far, to know much, and to listen to all of the stories of the world.

Odin teaches us that education and listening to various wise voices is invaluable to won growth and development. The more we know about a situation, the better we can assess it; research is rarely wasted. He also suggests that you can find wise teachers among those with direct experience regarding your situation, or those who have many ears of experience at your task. If you need guidance in any situation, Odin is a solid choice to turn to, and he can guide you toward the answers that you need.

Shadow Side: “While listening to other people’s wisdom it is necessary to gain perspective and to choose what action to take, if we only take the advice of others and don’t listen to our own guidance, we may be giving our power away. Also, it is possible to read too much or continue to gather information when the time is right to act. Imagine if you consulted a couple of books and videos on how to ride a bike but never took action to actually get on a bike to learn how to ride it!”

Symbols: “Runes; the eight legged horse; Sleipnir; Spear tht never misses; Gungnir; The Sun; One eyed man with many names; Odin, Wodin”*

~ By Stacey Demarco

Take time to pause and ask for some help from your “Team”. You know who your team is, right? Your angels and guides and any other light beings or elementals who have agreed to assist you in this lifetime… behind the scenes. They wish to assist you now, and all you have to do is ask, and be receptive.

You may need to take a little break from moving forward in order to allow a new solution or opportunity to come to you. We often think we know what is best for us, and all concerned, when we actually haven’t thought of, or are unable to conceptualize what needs to happen in order for things to happen or problems to be solved. This time, there is something that we may not be seeing, but that our Team is more than willing to help us with. Gratefully accept the help that is on offer.

Sit back and relax. Find a way to be open to finding a solution that comes in the form of a miracle or gift. Keep sending gratitude, which will help to open your heart and mind to what is coming your way, and look for signs, messages and guidance coming to you over the next few days.

Let your Team impress you with their amazing skills!
