Daily Oracle Card, from Wisdom of the Hidden Realms, by Colette Baron-Reid: The Well Watcher, as Challenger
The Well Watcher, as your challenger: “Wisdom, power of the Divine”
“The Well Watcher comes to let you know that you have run out of steam. Self will alone is not enough to make things happen. All cannot be yours at this time. If you feel you are going nowhere, it is because you are meant to stay put. wilfulness can lead to your becoming like the bull in a china shop, creating havoc as you push forward.
Remember the sacred, creative Source of the water in the well. Drink some, be still, and contemplate the true origin of power. It is not you. So drink deeply of the Wisdom of the Divine, and listen to the beautiful music playing through your life. When you have made conscious contact with your higher power, you can move forward again, replenished and renewed.
This is also an important time to restore harmony in your relationship, since you may be temporarily out of tune with one another. If there is a power struggle between you, remember that only the Divine has true power and you will not feel the need to struggle any more.”*
Phew! What a crazy couple of weeks energy wise! This card doesn’t surprise me at all, everyone I have come into contact with lately seems to be run ragged with all that the beginning of fall signifies. Summer is over, back to school, back to work, back to wearing long pants and shoes. Changes of routine, a feel of hustle and bustle that you just don’t get in the summer time. And if your life is anything like mine, this is one of the most expensive times of year, a close tie with Christmas by the time you pay for back to school stuff, sports and throw in a few must haves for yourself to get back in the scene for fall. It’s all pretty overwhelming.
Add in the projects you have been working on for the last few weeks or months, where is all the stuff I have been working on manifesting anyhow?? Why can’t it all be instant gratification, why on earth do I have to wait any longer than I already have? Sound familiar? This is a time to embrace the present moment, something we should continually strive to do, but often get caught up in planning out the future. When you live for planning the perfect future, you miss out on the now, thus losing your connection to the present, which is all we really have. Take time to slow down, connect, trust and know that Divine guidance will lead you. Stay clear, enjoy the journey and observe everything along the path. The signs are right here and now.
Use a black tourmaline, black obsidian, smokey or tourmilated quartz will help to ground you at this time. Carry one in your pocket, taking it out to hold in your hand when you feel overwhelmed or find yourself thinking continually of future plans. They also make great pendants or bracelets that you can wear daily.
Namaste
