Gaia: “Wisdom, Knowledge, Spiritual Understanding.”

“The Gaia card is the most powerful card in the Gaia Oracle Card Deck. It shows that you have  a deep spiritual connection to the Earth and a deep spiritual understanding of life. Gaia, the Earth Mother, thanks you for the love and consideration you show towards her and the love you have for all living things. She encourages you to gently and lovingly share your wisdom and knowledge of the Earth with others. Perhaps you may join with like-minded souls to share your message of love or you may choose to do practical things to help the Earth restore her balance and well-being. Yet, this is not a call to preach to others. You are a beacon of light, remain that way. Share your knowledge and wisdom only those that are ready to hear it and do not fear the Earth changes that are taking place, for all is evolving and unfolding as it should. All the Earth needs is a little more love.

The Earth gives everything to us; we must give back love and protection. We are strongly connected to our beautiful planet, and we need to help educate those around us of ways we can keep it safe and flourishing. Love is the foundation we must instill around us. Love of the Earth, respect and gratitude for the abundance all around us. Appreciation of the daily wonders of nature. Children must be taught to slow down and really see the beauty surrounding them, the sky, the flowers, the insects and animals; every living creature on Earth. When they start to recognize the unending beauty and creativity, they will build a respect for the planet. The Earth is our lifeblood, it’s not just a big rock, or some dirt or grass, it’s not just what you can see. There is so much more. The Earth is an organism, full of astounding beauty that needs our help to survive.

We can help by living respectfully; of being mindful of resources, of moving beyond the material; of not getting sucked into the trap of “perpetual consumption”. Every minute of every day you can make a choice to become an example of love and respect; recycle, reuse or use up instead of replacing constantly; cut back and find less material pursuits. Imagine a world where people pursued spirituality and higher consciousness like they did big houses and fancy cars! A very different world it would be; the Earth could breathe a sigh of relief, take a break from the onslaught of human creation, consumption and jettison.

We are the change, we are the love, we are the ones who can and will radiate the light all around us, drawing others in to help save this beautiful planet of ours. One mindful choice at a time.
