The Phoenix: “Rise from the ashes.”

Card Meaning: “To rise from the ashes of the phoenix, or to make a miraculous comeback. You will experience a personal renaissance: a triumphant recovery from a setback, be it heartbreak, illness, or financial struggle. You surprise and surpass the opposition or competition. You understand the meaning of rebirth: you will never be defeated.”

Card Interpretation: “As long as we see ourselves as a mortal being, who is born, lives and dies, we will miss the power of the Phoenix myth. However, if we see ourselves as our conscious awareness, and begin to observe that awareness, we will see that our awareness never changes. Think o f consciousness as a filter. We will see there are many levels and dimensions to this filter: viewing Creation through the interpretation of the human brain is only one such filter. If we observe carefully, we will see there are an infinite number of such filters, some more important than others, at any given moment. Yet, our awareness is capable of choosing any filter it desires, if it is aware and awake to the existence of the filter. In the end, the Phoenix myth describes the process of changing the filter we use to experience Creation.”

Wow!!!!! We are on the fast track to transformation here!! Yesterday we were planting seeds of change, nurturing them and sheltering them, using patience and having faith in their inevitable and eventual harvest or bloom. Today we are rising from the ashes, full of inner strength, confidence, and wisdom. How does it get any better than this?
