Daily Angel Oracle Card, from the Energy Oracle Card deck, by Sandra Anne Taylor: Action
Action: “Energizing Effort. Willingness to Work.”
“This card tells you that now is the time for more aggressive forward movement. The galloping horses represent intentional and concerted action directed to your goals.
This card upright indicates that you are on the right track, but your determined efforts must be increased. The white horse is inner action of spirit and thought, the black horse is the outer work that still needs to be done. So continue taking action and trust your intuition. In time, you will break through and see the results you have been working so hard to create.
Create a structured plan, and then make sure you take daily action. This will move you closer to your goals. Be flexible yet persistent – and ever conscious of your ability to act on your own behalf.
I am responsible for my own life.
I take action toward my goals
and my own happiness every day.”*

I want to start with mentioning that in Doreen Virtue’s Angel Numbers 101, the number of this card, 17 has this meaning: “The angels applaud you for staying positive and optimistic. They say that you optimism is warranted, as your affirmative thoughts are coming true. Keep up to good work, as you are on the right path!” Not only does this also validate the card’s message that there is still “work” to be done, and that swift and powerful action must be taken, but it also shows us how important the spiritual and mental work is to our desires outcome. Notice that in the picture, the white horse is ahead of the black horse, and also looks to be putting in much more effort; whereas the black horse is cantering along. This emphasizes the power of your thoughts and how vital they are to your overall wellbeing; as well as your powers of manifestation. Simply put: if you do the work on your thoughts, keeping them positive and uplifted and focused on your goals with joy, more than half the work is done. The rest is just icing on the cake!
The black horse shows steady progress; telling us that consistent action will get us to our desired outcome. Note the dove flying high above the horses, close to the golden sun; this is a sign of peace and harmony, that there is no need to stress, only to have faith. The last detail I would point out is that the horses are running the fence, rather than being stopped up by the fence and stuck gazing past it or trying to jump over it. This represents creative thinking and strategy. There is no guarantee that there will not be obstacles in your path; but you have the tools to successfully navigate around them gracefully.
Think of this card as a message to finish the year up strong! 2014 is coming to a close, faster than I would like sometimes, but thus is the physical realm. Set a goal for the end of the year and put your thoughts to work, taking daily physical action as you do so (by the way, meditation counts ;0)
You will get to exactly where you want to go; as long as you have faith that you can get there.
The Universe is on your side.
