Daily Angel Oracle Card: King Solomon ~ Priorities, from the Ascended Masters Oracle Card deck, by Doreen Virtue, Ph.D
King Solomon ~ Priorities
Card Meaning: “Devote time to your highest priorities, even if it means getting to bed earlier or later. This is a wonderful time to work on projects that are near and dear to your heart. Even if you are confused about how to approach the project, or you fear whether you will be able to accomplish your dreams, do it anyway.
You will feel elated by the time and energy you invest into your true priorities because your inner self will feel loved and well cared for. As you invest in your priorities, you are investing in yourself.
Additional meanings for this card: Let go of procrastination or perfectionism. Break your major goals into baby steps and take one step at a time. Revamp your schedule so that you devote regular time to your priorities. Be assertive in saying no to anything that diverts you from your path.
King Solomon ruled Israel following the death of his father, King David. Solomon was a wise and open minded man who understood the power of the goddess thanks to the influence of his many wives. Solomon used spiritual alchemy to build the temple of the Ark of the Covenant, based upon architectural plans that his father had received in Heavenly visions. Call upon King Solomon to resolve dilemmas, to build new projects, and to foster tolerance among various religious and spiritual paths.”*

Sometimes we have the best of intentions and yet we still don’t manage to move forward consistently. We get distracted, or sidetracked, or we put our own needs behind the needs of others. If we keep doing this over and over, we may even eventually lose steam, moving our dreams from priority, to back burner. This is particularly common if we hold on to old belief systems that tell us that we must have everything perfect before we move forward. Often we don’t follow our hearts because we think that we need to lose 20 lbs first, or we need to pay off all our debts first, or we need to get another certification first. Yet if we can let go of all these distractions, which are actually just a form of procrastination, we could get a whole lot farther ahead than we realize.
We must use our time wisely, particularly in our overstimulated world of technology. How often have you gone to do something simple like return an email and ended up on social media for an hour… or is that just me?? Or we may see an ad for something and decide to check out apps or boots or dresses or books or whatever and find that we have wasted the time that we had allotted to working on a project that is close to our heart.
If we can turn off all the “noise” of outside influence, and get really focused on what we desire to create, we can accomplish so much. But we must be disciplined. And committed. Know in our heart that it is possible for us to succeed if we put our minds to it. And then actually put our minds to it!
Ask King Solomon to assist you in choosing your priorities and sticking to them. We have a few weeks left of 2015. This is an amazing year to succeed. Everything is on our side, from numerology to astrology. The planets are in alignment.
All we need it focus and determination.
One step at a time.
