Daily Angel Oracle Card: Gratitude and Appreciation, from the Nature’s Whispers Oracle Card deck, by Angela Heartfield and Josephine Wall
Gratitude and Appreciation: “Recognize the good qualities in others and openly share your gratitude with them. Write notes of thanks to those who have helped you. If someone deserves acknowledgment, take the time to let a superior or colleague know so that they receive the recognition that they deserve. Nature is continually sharing its beauty for us to appreciate. Beholding a rainbow is a gift, and when we encounter a rainbow’s beauty, it is the perfect time to be grateful for all the gifts in our lives. It is important to generate the positive flow of thankfulness that can bring joy into someone else’s life. By doing so you will not only decrease your stress, you will also generate the feeling of goodwill and love in your life.”*

Remember when the childhood game where you would both get a velcro paddle and a velcro ball? Then you toss the ball back and forth and it sticks to the paddle. If you try using a different ball, say a rubber ball, a baseball or a ping-pong ball, it won’t stick to the paddles. Same goes for a smooth paddle, in fact, a smooth paddle just might act like a baseball bat and knock it right out of the park and you would have to start all over again! The game will only work with the correct alignment of paddles and balls; both need to be velcro… the receptive rough sticky paddles and the soft fuzzy ball. The perfect pair.
Use this as a metaphor for gratitude and manifestation; using your thoughts and actions to attract more of the same. Your dreams and desires are the fuzzy velcro ball; your thoughts, emotions and actions are the sticky paddle. Want more to be grateful for? Show gratitude… moment by moment, day by day. Want more supportive, loving and beautiful Souls around you? Acknowledge those who are already here; raising your own and their vibration simultaneously.Want more love in your life? Be that love.
Worry? That turns your dream into a rubber ball… fear, self-doubt and criticism turn that paddle into a baseball bat!
If you experience anger or resentment, allow yourself to genuinely feel the emotion and release it; do not hold on to it and allow it to hold you back from your manifesting mission. There are no “bad” emotions or thoughts, only productive or counter productive ones. Life is all about experience, and we can’t always have things go the way we would like them to go. But we can decide to make the most of it, be determined to find that silver lining. We can decide, despite the odds, to play ball.
Commit to gratitude now and see how it affects your day. Try a random act of kindness to someone who has helped you in the past; a quick call, a nice note or a little bouquet of flowers. Call someone who has supported you through tough times, maybe your Mom or Dad, a sibling or best friend, or even your minister or pastor and thank them for everything they have done for you in your life. For supporting you, for loving and accepting you, even if it wasn’t perfect, acknowledge they did the best they could with what they had and that helped make you who you are today.
Thank your angels for guiding you on… even when you weren’t listening, they never gave up.
Never ever will.
More of the same is coming to you, what do you intend that to look like?
