Daily Angel Oracle Card: Strength, from the Tarot Of The Hidden Realm Oracle Card deck, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Strength: “Silence envelopes them. She crouches very close, but not too close. The wolf holds himself still, just a heartbeat away from trust. She may have been waiting there for days or moments. It does not matter to her. There is no impatience, no anxiety in her. With concentration born of love, she stills her own breathing, quiets her heart. She becomes only acceptance. And she waits for as long as it takes, content to feel the wolf’s warmth near her.

The moment cannot be hurried. There is no forcing the matter. She wants to know him, both his nobility and his wildness. More than that, though, she wishes to feel what he feels. She wants to understand him. She is going to witness the moment when he moves from wariness to trust. If she can just see that, then she can embrace the beast inside her. A breeze wafts over them. The moon moves across the sky. Finally his breathing quiets, almost matching hers. His heartbeat slows, and hers seeks to join it. They inhale, so close. Exhale. The next breath they take as one. Neither moves, but both are changed.”

Divinatory Meaning: “In a card named Strength, one might expect amazing feats of physical prowess or of defeating foes. In the Hidden Realm, there is another kind of strength and a specific kind of challenge. We all have our wild parts, aspects of ourselves that have grown careless or reckless or fearful through life experiences that left us wounded, or parts of ourselves that society or individuals have told us are shameful. We deem these parts of ourselves unlovable and hide them away. But they do not stay hidden, lashing out instead in surprising ways that we cannot seem to control. Those parts of us have value. This card represents the most difficult kind of strength: the strength to face and love ourselves, to accept and heal, and eventually to integrate so that we can be whole again. This journey is ongoing, for just as we heal one wound, another often appears. In a reading, this card lets you know that, whatever your question, inner healing and forgiveness are part of the answer.”*

It takes strength and courage to face our shadow side. It takes even more strength and courage to allow that shadow side to come out of the dark and integrate into our true authentic selves; visible to the world. When we hide behind masks to gain the approval of others, our wild side screams with anger and frustration. When we stomp out our fire to keep ourselves small for the happiness of others, it makes that wild side wilder. Eventually, it simply cannot be contained.

It is time to step into the light. There is nothing bad or wrong with your true authentic self. When you make the decision to integrate, it may make others uncomfortable, as they have their vision and their expectations of you in place, and they may not wish to make the effort on their own part to accept you the way that you really are. But regardless of this, it is time to step into your power. Do it with love and self acceptance. For the Highest Good of All. Align with your Higher Self and move forward fearlessly. And that is how you will find your life’s path.

And so it is,

Namaste
