Two Of Cups: “Life can be so contrary, she muses, as she looks into the empty chalice, hoping to see a sign, while wondering if their love, so recently discovered, will be given the chance to grow. He assures her, with a look and a touch, when she averts her eyes, wishing to hide her tears. They must part now, for a time, and it seems so cruel. If only she could know the future.

But her heart does know the future; it is just her mind that questions it. From the moment their eyes met, her heart knew it belonged to him. It seems such a large thing, to give one’s heart to another based on a glance; it is also a small thing, to give to someone what is already theirs.

Their last moments are shared in silence, with the weaving of forget-me-nots in each other’s hair as they vow to remember each other until they meet again. In the mean time, their love will flow into the empty spaces between them, into the empty cup, growing and becoming a thing all its own that twines around them and joins them. You are about to meet that special someone and things will just “click.” Do not worry if you are married or in a relationship, as this is not necessarily about love and romance. This could signify a new mentor, close friend, neighbour, co-worker or business partner. Depending on your circumstances, it will be exactly who you need it to be. Thank you, Universe!

On that note, I have to mention that there is also the chance that it will be a new love interest, so if  you are single and have been looking for a partner, now is a very auspicious time. However, this cannot be forced and must not become a self fulfilling prophecy where you go out and try desperately to find “THE ONE!” Just remain open to possibility, and be receptive for someone new to walk into your life. This person may not be your “usual type” and believe me when I say that is probably the best thing about it! They will help you to breath fresh energy and inspiration into any stagnancy you may have been feeling lately. Go with it!

Remember that no matter who this person is, or what they represent to you, just be yourself. Do not try to prepare for this meeting by changing yourself or trying to “Fix” what needs fixing (in your opinion!). You are perfect just the way you are, and if you stray from your true authentic self, this person may not recognize you as the Soul sister or brother that you are!
