Peace Offering: “Live Peace, Pray Peace”

“Depicted on this card are vortices of peace doves spiraling over a background of dark storm clouds. the hearts are created by golden spirals and form the core of intention held by hands seeking peace.

As we view world events in these times it is disheartening to hear of war, conflict, and aggression. Many feel powerless, incapable of action, and defenseless in the face of the outrage. How can we be empowered? Both quantum physics and and metaphysical thought affirm that by our intentions we create our own reality. No matter how dark it may seem, humankind IS evolving.

This card symbolizes prayers offered with the conscious intention of peaceful hearts everywhere to shift from darkness and fear to love and compassion. It advises you not to lose hope, rather to “LIVE PEACE” in whatever way you are able to. By your actions and intentions, you will accelerate the process of creating true peace. Both your prayers and your efforts in the community to actively live peace and support those who are like-minded will aid in shifting the balance. In so doing recognize that you are assisting the evolution of consciousness toward a world in which PEACE is truth and not solely a dream.

In order to create peace, we must BE peace. We must live peace, breathe peace, think peace and emulate peace. We cannot seek peace from the world around us while we live our lives in chaos, conflict and turmoil. We must make peace within ourselves first, then be the example of that peace to others, inspiring them to do the same. This starts with unconditional love and acceptance of ourselves and those around us. No matter their race, religion, customs, age, gender, sexual preferences or how they choose to present themselves to the world. We need to learn to love and accept each person that comes into our lives as someone worthy of our love, no matter what stage of their journey they are in. We can learn from each other and discover each other’s gifts when we can truly see the authentic person in front of you. In this way we can see the Divine Light in all, the Light of the Love that connects us all to the greater whole.

Know also that you are only capable of giving as much love as you can feel for yourself. No one deserves your love and acceptance more than you. Love you for who  you are, where you have come from, what you have learned along the way. Love your body and treat it with reverence and respect; nurture it and care for it like the prized possession that it is… in this lifetime, it’s the only one you’ve got!
