Daily Angel Oracle Card: Flying, from the Enchanted Map Oracle Card deck, by Colette Baron-Reid
Flying: “You have the power to see things from a higher perspective”
“If you were a bird flying high in the air, what would you see? When you soar high above life’s challenges and opportunities, a new perspective becomes available.
Today you have invisible wings that allow you to swiftly bring your circumstances into alignment with your highest purpose. This is a sign that your waiting is over, that all your hard work has paid off and the things you hoped for are no longer beyond your scope. You have the ability to reach for the stars and find one with your name on it. Spread your wings and soar. the angels are waiting for you.”
If this card comes to you as Challenger: “When the Flying card comes to you as Challenger, it is a gentle reminder that there are times to take flight and times to remain grounded, and for now you must avoid overreaching. There is still work to be done before you earn your wings.
Be patient. What you seek will not be out of reach forever. Remember the story of Icarus in Greek mythology, whose wax made wings and overconfidence brought him too close to the sun? He perished because he did not realize his limitations. Humility is a great power, and now you must exercise it. Doing too much, too fast, too soon only serves to prevent a beautiful flight later on.”

Do you need a little break? Maybe some time to slow down and enjoy life? Has it been a hectic and busy summer, even if it’s been fun, maybe you have overextended yourself and just need a little rest and relaxation. It’s OK to take a step back and rejuvenate instead of running at full tilt constantly.
You need some time to breathe.
There is something coming up in the near future that is going to require all of your focus, in a good way. Get ready for it. Get ready for it by taking some time to do nothing at all. Instead of going at it with your energy levels tapped out, and pushing through, give yourself a little break and then get to what is important with all of your energy revived.
Clear your calendar. Take a few days off if possible. Say no to obligations that you can get out of, just for a little while. If not, at least promise me that you will schedule an exercise class, a walk on the beach or in the forest, or take a sea salt bath each day for the next three consecutive days. Get some sunshine to increase your wellness and vitality.
Get some perspective. Recharge your batteries. Shift your focus. Ponder what is possible.
Clear your body, mind and spirit.
Get ready for something amazing right around the corner. Get ready to give it your all.
But not before you put yourself first.
