King Of Swords ~ Eagle: “Have you ever noticed the higher you get, the less there is? Less oxygen, less noise, less greenery, fewer distraction, pretty much less of everything. Yet somehow, up here above the collection of shiny things, the height gives one space to commune with all things. To strip away that which is of little or no importance and shift the focus on what one really needs to thrive in this world of busy, filled up  space and time. Yes, the higher you go, the less there is, but in this lack of things the true wealth of your divine self will be revealed.”

~ Message From The Eagle

“The King Of Swords sits atop the world, and from where he sits, the world appears barren – yet looks can be deceiving. To harness the energy of the King one must learn to still one’s mind and drop away that which is nonessential. For the mind should only be required to focus on one thing at a time. From atop his mountain peak it is easy for the Eagle to focus on his present moment. Up where the air is thin, time ceases to exist. The clouds block out the sun so there is no way of telling night from day; this is a good thing, for it gives the mind one less thing to obsess over, or rather, one less distraction. The King of Swords knows that once his mind is clear and a decision has been made, he must plunge back down to earth, as being this high is only temporary.

The lesson is to leap with purpose, clarity, and precision. Knowing that no matter what, you have the ability to change course, navigate any and all obstacles, and ultimately hit your mark without effort. That is the clear focus of the King and that is the driving energy of the Eagle.”

Business and Career: “From the top of the mountain, can you finally see all of the opportunities that have been desperately trying to get your attention? If not, keep moving further away from the noise until you can, as there is something you are missing that you have been desperately seeking.”

Family and Relationships: “The King Of Swords is a leader; it is his job to see things others cannot see and maintain a certain amount of clarity and focus where other find themselves distracted. this is the energy you need to move into in your current relationship. It is up to you to stay focused on the bigger picture as those around you appear to be struggling.”

Health and Well Being: “The Eagle knows that he cannot stay up where the air is thin forever, and eventually he has to come back down to where his life actually takes place. The same can be said for those who spend more time in their heads than in their physical lives. Your health is not mental pursuit; it is a fully functioning activity that requires all of you to be present.”

Card of the Day Journal Prompts: “Can you hear your true soul voice on the wind and feel the support of the earth through the rock? In what area of your life do you need to change your point of view, in order to get a clearer picture of what is really going on? How can you step into the role of the King of Swords today?”*

Perspective is everything, and we humans are very prone to tunnel vision. We often see what is in front of us through the lens of past experience; we let our fears cast shadows on bright and positive possibilities. We cast aside opportunities that we talk ourselves out of due to lack of self confidence or self worth.

Yet, if we could rise above this, and see how we limit ourselves, we could finally free ourselves to experience things in a whole different way. A positive and open-hearted way. A confident and courageous way. We could even have fun with it. Yes. Fun.

It’s time to take a step back and look at things from a different perspective. Get some distance from your problems and get creative with solutions. Take a little break. Rest, relax and fly free for a while. Ask the Universe to provide help. Reach out to others and admit that you need assistance. Relinquish control.

Surrender  to the idea that things could go in a totally different direction. Maybe it will feel uncomfortable. Maybe it will scare you a little, or a lot. But, the best part? Things won’t stay the same. You can let go now. Let go and see what comes.

Namaste
