Scrying ~ Intuition:
“Soften your eyes
Begin the trance
Whole worlds are opened
Begin the dance”
“Scrying is the divination technique of seeing unconscious images (or images from the Divine or supernatural) appear upon or within a surface. People scry into a crystal ball, a black mirror, water, even the surface of ice. It is a very ancient technique and one traditionally enacted on Samhain – Halloween.
The keys to effective scrying are being as relaxed as possible, minimizing possible distractions, softening your gaze and allowing what comes.
The enemy of effective scrying is distraction… both from the inside and out. Turn off the phone, electric lights anywhere where you can see them, any music, and if you are scrying outdoors, take the time to settle into the environment and listen to all the noises so that your mind will not need to break your focus later.
If you regularly meditate you may wish to use those techniques or otherwise you can simply shut your eyes and focus on slowing your breath – this is usually very effective. If you have a specific question for the scrying medium, state it up front. Then, once you feel relaxed, turn your focus inwards. Imagine pulling your energy within you and then focus on the third eye point (the chakra point on the center of the forehead, just above and between the eyebrows) and imagine opening it. Then gaze in a soft unfocused way at your scrying surface and simply allow any images to form and observe what presents itself to you. Do not engage your rational mind – this is about receiving, not thinking!
Should you pull the Scrying card, I suggest you try it for starters. It also indicates that you may wish to develop your intuition further and not rely solely on the logical part of your mind for all the answers. True wisdom takes a balance of logic and imagination and intuition for true wisdom.”*

Here is an invitation to see between the realms. Make time for silence, and go within. What is your chosen tool on this magical day where the veils between the worlds thins, and we are able to see across the timelines? There is nothing to fear here, and only Love.
If you are going to try scrying at home or inside, you may want to smudge first, both the environment and yourself to clear the energy. Once this is done, you can start by encircling yourself with bright white love and light and setting the intention that only love may come to you and work through you. Then close your eyes, relax, and breathe some nice, deep breaths.
When you are ready open your eyes. Gaze softly and ask your angels and guides, archangels and ascended masters to be here now, working with you and through you for the Highest Good Of All and your highest good. Ask your question or set the intention that you will get the information that will most benefit you at this time. Do not try to guess or force anything, just keep breathing, keep gazing, keep inviting and making space for Divine wisdom and guidance. Know that you are safe, you are loved and you are protected. Listen and feel into it with all of your senses.
When you are done, take a few moments to breathe deeply again, this time with your eyes closed. Ask the angels if there is any additional information that you need at this time. Again, breathe and listen with your whole body. Send gratitude and ask that you receive any signs, messages, symbols or guidance in a clear and understandable way over the next few days.
Light a white candle and send love, light and blessings out into the Universe.
Then go put your Halloween costume on and have some fun!
