The Eagle King: “The Big Picture, Angelic Help”

“The Eagle King is a sing that your highest destiny is within reach. You are on the right path now, even if you can’t see where you are going. The Eagle King soars high above the mountains and valleys of life and is able to see the big picture when you seem to be lost in a bit of a fog. He makes a formidable Ally as he takes your prayers up towards the sun and releases them to the Divine. They will be answered for the highest good of all.

It is a fortunate omen when The Eagle King decides to be your Ally.”

The Eagle King as Challenger: “The Eagle King challenges you to see a higher purpose to events. Not everything is meant to come to pass according to your specifications. If you can’t see the forest for the trees, stand back for a while and let The Eagle King fly high on your behalf.

Perhaps it is time to speak to someone who has objectivity and an ability to see the bigger picture where you do not. Just remember that even when things do not go the way you may expect them to, there is always a reason for the detour.”*

All I can think of when I look at this card is Thank You. Just Thank You so much for the assistance. Thank you for being here for me when I need you most. I am filled with gratitude, my heart is swelling, expanding. I can breathe. Thank you for this great gift.

Eagle is freedom, strength, liberation. It is choices made without compromise. Fast and powerful and graceful and free in a way that we will never truly experience in this incarnation. Yet here we are being offered assistance from on high. We are being asked to shift our perspective, to get out of our own way and rise above the drama, and we are being offered help to do it. Thank you. Thank you.

The Eagle King is a powerful Ancestor, he deserves our reverence, our utmost respect. His face is a face of pure Truth and Authenticity. The Eagle is Of him, they are not separate, but deeply connected in a way that is beyond our understanding. This is not the spirit animal, or the totem but a facet of himself. It is wisdom from deep within. These two cannot be one without the other as they are two sides of the same coin. The perfect union.

Go outside and get as high up as you can safely; climb a hill or mountain, if possible, get up above the treetops. What is your intention? What do you need assistance with now? What question will you ask? Get up there and ask, out loud. Then close your eyes, lift your palms to the sky and tilt your head back. Breathe. Send gratitude straight from your heart center. Wait. Receive. Leave a small gift, something natural; a flower, a feather, a stone. Leave it with reverence and sacred ceremony.
