Ooniemme ~ Gratitude:

“Invite Ooniemme (Oon-eee-em) to uplift you with the glorious feeling of gratitude! Gratitude expands awareness, opening  your consciousness to receive. Every thought and feeling is clearly reflected in your body and all of its elements, you will attract health. Why not choose to focus on the perfection of your Eternal Self through gratitude? When experienced passionately, these three Ascension Attitudes (love, surrender, gratitude) become an invincible force for healing.

Set aside time each day to thank God, the source of every good and perfect thing. In the morning, thank God for your life and dedicate the day to expressing divine will in all your actions. At night before sleeping, review your day. Tank Spirit for your blessings, the happy moments, the successes, the loving people, and the beauty you have experienced. Review the situations that have made you uncomfortable, angry, fearful or worried. Give thanks they have come to your attention and discover what they are trying to tell you. Ask Ooniemme to open your eyes and reveal creative and positive solutions; then let it go and have faith that you call will be answered.

Do you feel resentment rather than gratitude? When you repress your real feelings and force yourself to behave as if you feel something else, you lose touch with the truth and fall prey to lies or illusions. Most of us do this far more than we would like to believe, replacing a feeling judged to be unacceptable with another. Do you smile and act happy when you are really miserable? Rather than fearfully avoiding unpleasant feelings, dive into them while calling to God for love and truth. Facing your resentments will help open your heart to the overwhelming rapture of deep gratitude.

Find little things throughout the day for which t be joyously grateful; meals, parking places, green lights, kindness, everything! Thank Nature for her gifts of beautiful flowers and sunshine. Listen to ecstatic music like the “hallelujah Chorus” by Handel. Treat yourself to a little pampering in thanks to your body. Wear clothes that make you happy, attractive, and comfortable. Wear your favorite perfume or cologne and think of the angels.”*

I love everything about this message of Gratitude. We need more gratitude in our lives. Gratitude is the bridge to love, to abundance, to happiness, grace, and fulfillment. Gratitude can bring you more of what you want most in life; it is the magnet for everything magical and good in our lives.

Yet we forget just how powerful a tool gratitude can be. We instead focus on what we don’t have. What we want but don’t believe we deserve. What others have that we want and we feel like they have stolen from us. All of those feelings bringing us… more of the same of course!

Every single moment of every single day there is something to be grateful for. Each breath you take, be grateful for that, someone just took their last and you are still here, breathing; your life still holds possibility for you. Each time you look into a loved ones eyes, be grateful for that loving connection. Every bite of food, every glass of clean water. Every sunny, rainy, windy or snowy day, yes be grateful for that.

Experiment with gratitude. That’s your homework. Use it to blow the doors off your life. Every day for the next week, minimum, find at least three things you are grateful for and declare them out loud morning and evening. Right when you get up, and before you go to sleep.
