Four of Stones: “Protection”

Card Description: “A newborn fawn shelters beneath a dolmen as the midsummer sun rises, filling the land with energy. Fiery rays stream out into a dark blue sky where stars shine. On each of the stones is painted a symbol from one of the ancient Bronze Age barrows – a diamond shape, a sun circle and a forked lightning flash.”

Card Meaning: “The newly risen sun brings hope and renewed vitality to the vulnerable. Shelter and protection for the weak or the spiritually wounded is the responsibility of us all.”

Reading Points: “Many trials and tribulations surface during our lifetime, and being able to endure such times is the sign of a strong heart and healthy spirit. Finding a personal place of emotional safety may require patience and a stoical dedication to the quest, but for those who have weathered adversity and known loss, the light of life and love will always burn brightly within them. By building on a foundation of ethical beliefs, boundaries and skills, we can be assured that when the test comes we are secure in our self-knowledge and confidence. The human ability to recognize and feel compassion for those who need help is just as important. However the storm may tear at our own inner place of protection, fresh opportunities and spiritual rewards. Such is the law of karma, that each act of selfless protection and mercy for those in need revitalizes the spiritual warrior with a sense of peace and divinity rarely found in common practice.”*

Instead of holding on to anger or frustration; send forgiveness and compassion. Instead of judging harshly, open your heart and send unconditional love and acceptance. When you feel triggered or agitated, send compassion and healing; to yourself and to the stressor. Turn the energy around in order to form a protective layer of loving energy around yourself and others. This is where the change begins. This is the alchemy of Love.

The illusion of separation is slowly dissolving and we are finally waking up to realize that we are all One. As we come to this profound realization, we start to see the intricate connection between all living beings on this beautiful planet. We see that we are all just energy resonating at different frequencies. We are all connected on a deep cellular level. 

This realization helps us to hold space for those who need to awaken, to heal, to transform, to ascend their consciousness in their own time. We can hold them in a space of allowing, of acceptance and of unconditional love. We can appreciate them for who they are, what they have come through and where they are at. We can do this without giving away our own power or our own energy. We can be a beacon of light and a vessel of Divine Love, completely protected and powerfully radiant in our cocoon of bright white love and light.

All we must do is open ourselves, body, mind and spirit to be a conduit for the Divine energies to run to and through, like water through the river bed. We are never depleted, we are never left drained. The Universe is abundant; there is always more love to go around.

No one gets left behind. That is Christ Consciousness. With it comes absolute freedom and liberation from fear.
