Eos: “New Beginnings”

The Myth: “Eos is the daughter of the Titans Hyperion (god of light) and Theia (goddess of heavenly light) and the sister of Helios (sun) and Selene (moon). She is the personification of dawn. Each day, she rises out of Oceanus (ocean) and opens the gates of heaven so that Helios can ride through them and illuminate the sky. She is an incredible beauty, with rosy fingers, golden arms, and large, white wings. She is often depicted as wearing a tiara and a yellow dress woven with flowers.”

The Message: “If you have drawn this card, dawn is here. The long, dark night is over, and you stand at the beginning of a new day. This card comes with a burst of new energy, as all possibility is open to you now. This is a good time to start afresh, make plans, hatch ideas, and open up to your rising inspiration.

The time is right for new beginnings, and you will be projecting this into the world. Do not be surprised if opportunities start knocking on your door – unexpected meetings, gifts, or invitations may turn up. Enjoy this period, and allow yourself to be guided by the Universe and your inner voice. A new day has dawned in your life, so celebrate and enjoy it. A journey awaits you!”

The only choice is to start new. Change what needs changing. Resistance is futile. Forward momentum is the only way.

We finish each chaotic month feeling that we must deserve a little reprieve. Only to be thrown into yet even more chaos. Wobbling to get our bearings we stand up and dust ourselves off yet again. We survey the territory. Does it look the same? Can it ever really feel the same?

Change is the only option. Moving forward fearlessly with less baggage than we may have anticipated. A fresh start with less obstacles in the way. Rewriting our story from the depth of our Soul.

See it as a gift; all of it. Each phase of it. Release the pain and meet the new vulnerable and receptive. Honour what the Universe sends your way and your part in attracting it… somehow. Try not to take it all too personally. Try not to attach to it but instead let it all flow to you and through you.

Know that everything is in perfect Divine order. Even if you are feeling like things are not going the way that you would have liked. Just yet.

Have faith. In yourself, in the Universe, in the endless possibility of the now. Choose your thoughts wisely. Channel your energy into your intentions. Use affirmations to keep you on track.
