Seven Of Chalices: “There are many opportunities or choices open to a person with this card, but not all of them are what they seem, and other people may try to influence the decision one makes. The caution is against the tendency to daydream, rely on others for direction in life, or wish for things without expending the effort to bring them to fruition. One needs to learn more about the choices offered, ad pick the one that pulls. Of all the options, only one is right for the chooser, and the others are delusions. To be happy with the decision made, one must listen to the intuition and heart as well as the intellect. Here is a chance to do what will make one happy, and this may require standing up to others who wish to push their own choices, based on their personal perceptions and values. To find the true path to reaching a desired goal, one must evaluate the alternatives, look past the obstacles and distractions, and avoid following the whims or uncertain promptings of others.

This message is about discernment. It is about knowing your own heart and what you truly desire. It is about tuning in to your intuition and taking the time to really listen. It is about not making hasty decisions and not being pushed into anything by anyone else, no matter what their motives may be.

There are so many distractions! So many things that can set us off track in a day. Succumb to even one or two and they could steer you right off course if you are not careful. Get steered off course enough and you just might lose your way.

This is not a message about fear, it is a message about trust. It is about mindfulness, about deliberation and about resourcefulness. You know what you need to do. You can feel your way around the opportunities on offer. Bells and whistles will not lead you astray. There is success here, prosperity. Possibility. It will be as big as you allow it to be.

Take some time to yourself and breathe into  your options. If something doesn’t feel right, trust your gut! If someone does not feel authentic, honest or true, trust that too. Do not see only the good in someone, be realistic… when we choose only to see the potential, sometimes we miss the reality of the situation. What does your body say? Does it feel light or heavy? Where do you feel it and why would that be?

Now is a time to really trust in yourself and know that when you say “no” and close one door, another is sure to open. We so often fear that the option before us is the only one… the “what if’s” set in… we doubt ourselves. We fear abandonment, rejection… we settle, compromise our dreams.

This is different. This is big. No pressure, but you need to make the decision that takes you where you need to be. Yes, it might be scary. And no, not everyone will be on board. But you have to trust that you can find your own way.
