Play Your Hand: “Have you been playing your cards close to your chest? Have you been waiting for the universe to give you a sign, for life to show you how to proceed? Sometimes we need to be patient and surrendered, but there’s also a time to take the initiative. It is your time to show your hand to the universe. What do you want? What can you offer? Ask! Express! Expect! The universe is waiting for you to make your move.”

‘There are times to surrender and flow, to let the universe show you where to go. Then there are times when you need to choose, to play your cards, to make your move. The universe is asking you, “What do you want? What are you willing to do?”

Do not waste a golden opportunity and such a receptive audience! Go into your heart and ask for what you want. If you don’t know the details, that is just fine! Ask for the essence of what you want and leave the finer details up to the universe to sort out. Do you want love? Abundance? Peace? Pleasure? Passion? Purpose? Or do you want creative freedom, to discover, express and enjoy the hidden inner treasures of your unknown talent, to feel so safe and secure within that you can relax and live your life to the fullest?

Give the universe notice of what you are willing to receive, and it will more than met you half way. Take the initiative to set something in motion with your intention, your actions, your willingness to play your hand in the game of life. Do not be afraid  to show your cards, to be open about what  you want to ask the universe to bring something special into your life, something that will truly move you.

The oracle Play Your Hand is a request from the universe to do what you can do so the universe can  help you. The universe is saying, “Help me to help you!”

You have to take the first step, then all manner of support will come into play. It is not a time for dreaming only; it is a time for doing – even if it’s just taking one step in the direction of your dreams. Do it. Go for it – with gusto! You do not have to hide yourself or your plans for fear that another may judge or ridicule. There are times to be discreet, and times to show your hand. This is your time to let your intentions be known. You are capable of playing a bold and fearless game of chance. Your confidence and willingness to be open are your keys to winning the game. So game on, sweet soul! Show your cards; let the dice roll!”

Healing Trick: “To help you take the wisdom offered and put it to best use in your life now, do this healing trick to clear obstacles to putting this guidance into place.

Write a list of three or more qualities that you have to offer, your best traits. If you cannot think of any (really?) then ask some loved ones to give you the top three or more traits they see in you. Then sit down and say aloud: “Universe, I do not need a poker face. Instead, I choose to take my rightful place. I have a lot to offer – here’s my best for now… (list your top three or more personality traits), and I am playing my hand in the game of life. I show up with my best and leave you with all the rest. I play my hand and in return, victory in the game of life I now earn! Affirmation: “Say the following affirmation aloud to boost the power of this message and to integrate it into your body, mind and soul. You can say it moring and’or evening for a few days or even a few months, or just at the end of your healing trick.

“I am a winner in the game of life. I play my hand every day, with boldness, courage and joy.”

Something is stopping you from reaching your goals… and it’s YOU! Yes, you were hurt in the past and there may be some pain associated with putting yourself out there again. Yes, it may seem like everyone else gets to do what you have been dreaming of doing and you can’t seem to figure out why it’s not you who is doing it! Yes it’s scary to get out there and change things up. Yes, you could probably keep waiting until the stars are all in alignment. But you are missing out on life each extra day that you wait for life to find you!

What if you found out today that what you want most is available to you now, you just have to go get it? How would that change your perspective? What if you found out your dream job was opening up? Your soul mate was single and ready to settle down? Your trip of a lifetime was on sale for half price? What would you do? You would get out there and make sure you were doing what you could to secure your position!

So you can see that maybe it is a bit challenging for the Universe to help you manifest your dreams when they stay locked up in your heart, guarded vigilantly by your fearful mind!

It’s time to play your cards, for better or for worse. Even if it scares you. Even if you feel like you could lose everything. Because what you need most is momentum. The honest truth is that you may not end up at all where you think you want to go. But staying where you are without ever experiencing something new would be even worse.

Move forward fearlessly. Take the leap. Tell yourself that you have got this, no matter what happens. Set your life on a brand new course.
