Uzziel ~ Faith:

“Uzziel means the ‘strength of God’ that manifests the gift of God’s essence and the power of faith in your life. When you invite Uzziel to touch you with faith, your spiritual growth is accelerated and peace fills your heart. Faith works in a realm beyond human understanding and reason. It takes a tremendous faith to enable you to transcend your mind and connect with Eternal knowing. Ask Uzziel to teach you to ignite the Ascension Attitudes of Love, Surrender and Gratitude, becoming the dynamic vibration which magnetically attracts Spirit making possible a union between you and God.
Faith is an inner knowing that inspires you to be conscientious, accurate and true. Its powerful energy decreases with inertia and increases through right action. Rather than an external thought, true faith is found deep within your being, guiding your actions and feelings toward the desired outcome. The angels protect us through our faith by distracting or changing the perception of others who would harm us, creating an atmosphere free from worry, anxiety, doubts and fear.
The acceptance or conviction of a teaching as true is a belief. Before the heart is opened, beliefs are likely to be limiting and binding. Beliefs can hold you captive and create a separation between people. When cherished and nurtured, belief expands into faith, opening the heart to be filled with Light. When you are truly one with your faith, nothing in the outer world can disturb you.
On the other side of faith is its destructive power. Faith in poverty keeps you struggling to survive and faith in limitation prevents you from discovering and using your talents. Faith in drama attracts the unwanted situation that you fear. Faith in your worthlessness prevents you from realizing your greatness. Reverse the direction of your attitude and turn the power of your faith inward toward your Eternal Self and God union.
Even more destructive is the loss of faith and the fight against even God. When the brutality of our world overwhelms you with despair and you cry out for justice that does not come, you question the existence of the Divine and feel enraged. When we incarnated on Earth the illusion of the separation from our Creator ripped our hearts apart. We hide this pain so deeply that few are even aware of its existence. How could God leave me here? Doesn’t God hear my voice or feel my pain?
This dark night of the soul is the essence of our dangerous yet necessary struggle to reconnect with the Great Spirit. If you don’t have the courage to face the pain of separation that is at the root of all other pain, you will never truly know God. But, there is the risk of getting lost in despair. When you willingly dive deeply enough into the rage and horror and call to God with all the passion of your heart, you will receive an answer to your call. Suddenly, your awareness is expanded and you are filled with the inconceivably powerful presence of Love. You can still see the problems, but with a new perspective of compassion.
There is a story about Jacob wrestling with the angel Uzziel. Jacob was afraid for his life because Esau, a brutal man, was on the way to kill him. Jacob had two choices; he could find a clever solution as he had done many times before, or he could give up the struggle and surrender to God. All night Jacob fought with the angel, symbolizing his spiritual battle, and came out of the struggle with a new name, claiming the power of his faith. Is this not our dilemma? Should I do it myself and suffer, or shall I surrender? My call hasn’t always been answered before; what if God fails me? Doubt is an insidious force that creeps into your consciousness to drive a wedge between you and faith. Some doubts are good if they are the voice of your inner knowing telling you something is wrong for you. The only way to know the difference is when you can trust your feelings and inner wisdom, and have cleared out the voices of doom that speak from your illusions. Until then, be wary of doubt as it can grow into poisonous self-destructive suspicion, leading you away from truth.
The faith that you can be one with God is the magnetic power that will draw you into union with your Eternal Self. The power of faith is available to everyone, but few are willing to use it consciously. Call Uzziel to fill you, arousing the hunger which refuses to be satisfied by anything less than the personal realization of the living God.”*

Ah yes this is such a great reminder of the incredible power of faith in our lives. Where does our faith lie? Do we have faith in the Divine, in the Universal laws that guide, protect and provide? Or do we have faith in the fear that threatens to pull us under? Do we have faith in our limitations, holding ourselves back just in case we experience pain? Or do we have faith that if we move forward holding the Highest intentions that we will be assisted to manifest our dreams?
Today we take stock of where we direct our faith and how that affects us. How has our faith placed us where we are now? How could we better direct it? If you have trouble directing your faith, you can heal it using affirmations; quite literally reprogramming your brain. Repeating positive affirmations until you create new neural pathways to support new belief systems. Renewed faith in Source, new faith in yourself. Absolute faith in what is possible for your life.
Opening, expanding. Rewiring the heart to the mind.
Embracing all that becomes available with your new found faith in yourself.
