Have Faith: “Faith requires you to believe in something that is not yet evident to the naked eye.”

“To generate more faith focus on the WHY: your dreams, desires, feelings, attitudes and thinking, and not on the HOW: action plan, strategies and skills. Your whole life you have been taught to think about the ‘how’, which leads to doubt and fear. The wisdom of this card is asking you to only focus on the ‘why’!

The magic that will happen if you stop focusing on the ‘how’ and only the ‘why’ is that after some time of practice you will notice that the ‘how’ will present itself to you.

It is through your focused, positive thinking that you will create dreams. What you have mostly done is to focus on the ‘how’, which has made you doubt yourself. This means that you are vibrating negative thoughts into the universe, keeping your dreams away. Remember you were created to be a co-creator here on earth, designed for achievement. Faith is knowing that everything is going to work out the best possible way no matter what things look like.”

Action: “Take a sheet of paper and in seven minutes write down (not on a computer) all of the things you would do or be or have if money and time were not obstacles. Do this exercise every day for one week. Then, at the end of each entry, write a number between 1 and 10 (‘ten’ being you definitely could make this happen within six months, and ‘one’ being there is no chance you could achieve this goal in six months.) Pick entries that are marked 7 or above and find one to focus your energy on. Soon the ‘how’ will present itself and you will take a huge step closer to your most treasured dreams. This will build massive confidence and increased faith in the magic of the universe.”*

I am called to remind everyone that I do not necessarily subscribe to the belief systems of any particular religion, but see them more generally as spirituality. I believe in Jesus, but I see him as an ascended master. I think that if we stopped fighting over the semantics of the labels and the names, we would actually find a very common thread between many of the organized religions out there: Unconditional Love. And that is my motivation in embracing spirituality. I choose the cards that resonate, and if they happen to have specific religious symbolism, then that is all part of the message. I hope that makes sense I know it is a very tender subject and I do not wish to upset anyone.

Faith is everything, it is the cornerstone of spirituality and higher consciousness. Faith that what stands before you is not necessarily all that exists. Faith that when things look especially dark, there is light coming. Faith in the bigger picture, in the magic and the mystery of the energy of the Universe. Faith in the possibility of Unconditional Love in the face of chaos.

When we focus on the details of how we can manifest our dreams, we get all caught up in how exactly it is all going to fall into place. We limit ourselves through our own blinders of experience, pain and defeat. We have all at some point faced rejection or failure. We all have our victories too. We use these life experiences to paint a picture of what our future might look like; often to our own detriment. If only we could just have faith in something bigger than ourselves.

What do you wish to create? My favourite question. And Why do you wish to create it? A very valid point. Focus on that. Step into the feelings that the attainment of your goals would create. List those feelings. Dip your toe into them… let yourself feel them breath by breath. And know that in co-creating with the Universe, they are all available to you.

Have faith in your ability to manifest your dreams, and in the Universe to assist you.
