Daily Angel Oracle Card: The Sun Dancers, from the Wisdom Of The Hidden Realms Oracle Card deck, by Colette Baron-Reid, artwork by Jena DellaGrottaglia
The Sun Dancers: “Joyful activity, Celebration of life, abundance.”
The Sun Dancers as Ally: “As your Ally, the Sun Dancers celebrate you now and remind you of the laws of success and praise. Anything you place your attention on will manifest an experience, so the laws are always perfect. Expect the best and praise it in advance. This unleashes the magic of mystical magnetic energy, drawing circumstances to you to create the reality you envision.
Give thanks in advance for the grace and goodwill of the Divine. Be willing to dance the victory dance as if your greatest dreams are realized, and watch how easily things begin to fall into place. Stay positive and leave the timing up to the Divine. All things are possible now. Dance the joy of being, and celebrate your life and abundance today!”
The Sun Dancers as Challenger: “Beware of losing yourself in your dreams of the future when the Sun Dancers come to challenge you. Their message is sweet and simple: stop what you are doing and go have some fun. Celebrate what is and do not worry about what will be or what could be. Be here and now… just be, just for today.
You will find your answers, but only after you have made time to play. Tomorrow, after all, is another day, and the sun will rise again to shed its warmth and light on all that needs clarity. You can count on it.”*

Set the intention to have more fun. Bring the lightness of Being into your reality; no one else can do this for you. We take things so seriously. We take ourselves so seriously. We need to lighten up, play, enjoy this moment.
The most dangerous habit we can get into is waiting for all the stars to come into alignment before we allow ourselves to feel joy. To wait until love walks in; to wait until we are debt free and have lost twenty pounds; or until we have the perfect job, the right friends or nicer stuff. It’s all an illusion; the idea that something or someone will bring you joy. Sure, fleetingly it works. You feel great for a while but then it fades and the old mindset comes back to haunt you.
The work must be done from the inside out. We must be able to find the joy first, no matter what is happening around us. We must take responsibility for how we see the world, how we react and how we can change for the better. It is a constant work in progress, something that takes dedication and commitment to mindfulness.
The Sun Dancers message to us today is to embrace life just as it is. See the blessings around you and appreciate even the tiniest ones. The signs of spring. A smile from a stranger. A hug from a loved one. The sun coming out from behind the clouds or the stars shining brightly. There is always something to be grateful for. There is always a way to reframe things, to appreciate the beauty, the love and the abundance always around us, even on the darkest of days.
And this gratitude is a portal to more of that. More of the blessings and miracles of life on this beautiful planet. It is one of the most powerful and life changing tools we possess. Use it generously. And don’t forget to have fun.
