The River Queen: “Flow, Letting Go, Natural Movement”
As Ally: “The River Queen flows into your life as an Ally to remind you about the concept of allowing and the Law of Non-attachment. Remember that all rivers come from the mountains and run to the sea to be absorbed by the larger body of water. There the liquid evaporates into clouds that rain on the mountains to continue an endless cycle of fluidity.
The River Queen requires you to be fluid and to let go of rigidity and perfectionism. You will travel far as long as you let go and let flow, even maneuvering around the greatest blockages like water streams around big boulders. No obstacle can hold you back now if you are willing to surrender to the natural flow of events. By easy on yourself and others, and watch how smoothly you move forward. You may be surprised where the river takes you.”
As Challenger: “Turbulent waters and rapids to cross are directly ahead for you. You have no boat to navigate now; it is just you in the water, going where it takes you.
That said, although the River Queen is your Challenger here, she has no intention of letting you go under. Even when there is a waterfall ahead, there is no reason to fear. The River Queen will help you over it so you can splash down again in the gentle waters of the river below, flowing with renewed purpose to the sea.
Be fearless now and go with the current of events. This can be an adventure!”*

You may need an extra dose of Faith in the coming days. Surrender and trust that there is a bigger plan, and that maybe you just can’t quite see it right now. Surrender to the process and do not fight or struggle, as you will only waste precious energy, you cannot change the current you are swept up in, just relax and ride it out as best as you can. Know that you are taken care of, and that although things do not seem to be progressing as you had hoped, there is a reason. Things will become clear soon!
Turbulent waters stir up all the silt and sludge at the bottom, making visibility difficult. When we can’t see what lies ahead, our imaginations can take over and run wild and usually not in a good way. We can start making up a story to go along with the darkness, a scary story about all the things that could go wrong! Instead, know that if you are still and stop thrashing around, in time the debris will settle and the water will again become clear.
This is no more than a little test, a speedbump on the road that causes you to slow down a little and focus on the moment. Let go of trying to control everyone and everything around you. Know that you can only really control yourself, and your reactions to what is happening in your world. Be aware of emotions at this time and letting them be felt and honoured, but not drowning in them or stuffing them down to be dealt with later on a much larger level. Use your breath to work through the tough spots and see yourself will gills, navigating the waters with grace and ease.
Just as things look different under water, things look very different depending on which emotions we are seeing them through. Remember to stop, breathe, think and then act.
This is only a test.
