The Song: “Attentive Awareness ~ Hidden Energy ~ Listen With Your Heart”

“What is the Song? What does it mean? The Song is energy and vibration. Everything has its own energy, and everything has its own vibration or song. In Faerie, as we travel the roads that spiral inward, we are aware of the energy of everything around us. Because we are in the other realm, it is easy to feel the energy of rocks and trees, of flowers and grasses. When we travel in our human world, we may find it difficult to find any energy at all in the buildings, pavement, and stunted vegetation that surrounds us, but it is there nonetheless. No matter where we are, in a beautiful country landscape of a cityscape of steel and glass, the energy is still there, flowing through and around everything, connecting everything in a harmony of song.

If you draw this card, it may be time to stop and listen. Put your hand on something close to you and be aware of what you feel. Awareness and connection are so important. Relationships falter when connections are lost and energies blocked. If you feel that a relationship is stuck, try listening for the song of the other person. Pay attention! That is one of the most important lessons that the Faerie has to teach us: pay attention, and the energy will start to flow again.”*

As we enter higher levels of consciousness; our awareness is increasing. We are so much more sensitive to the energies around us; the energies of people and animals; of the plants and the trees; the vibration of sound; and of the heartbeat of our Beautiful Earth, Mother Gaia herself. All of these energies affect us in one way or another; the vibration of each thing we come into contact with leaves an energetic mark. We must take time to tune into our bodies, our minds and our spirits to listen to what they are telling us when we come into contact with these subtle energies. Only then can we learn to work with them.

When you walk through the forest, what do you feel? Can you feel the energy of the trees? Can you feel that certain trees vibrate in different frequencies? How do rocks feel to you? Or the moss or ferns that cover them? If you take the time to make the connection, it will truly blow you away. Their love. Their acceptance. Their devotion to their Mother Gaia. Their strength and connection. It’s a beautiful thing to behold. And we are always welcome to partake of this energy. Can you feel them beckon to you to put your hand on their bark? To sit with your back against their trunk and allow them to align your energy centers? To experience a drama free existence, at peace with your space in the Universe.

The Song is the Song of the Universe. It starts in our cells, deep within our DNA. By simply acknowledging it, it will start to grow louder so that you can hear it in your heart. You are part of this Song of the Universe.

Listen closely and you will hear your Soul sing to you.
