We look for love all around us. We wish and hope and desire for someone to come and rescue us; save us and make us feel worthy. We project our expectations of love on others, and get upset when they don’t live up to our perception of love. We try to squeeze love from someone else by clinging on for dear life; strangling them with our fear of abandonment and disillusion.

Yet, love really is all around us. It is everywhere. In every single atom of every creation of the Universe. But we are so busy looking outside of ourselves for it, that we can’t see the forest through the trees. We look for validation from that special someone, our knight in shining armour, our sacred goddess. We forget to look within and see the deep connection between us and every living being and the planet herself. The Universal energy of Love. We forget that we are, each and every one of us, regardless of circumstance or appearance, an expression of this Divine Love. A unique and beautiful Soul, which is part of a much larger puzzle; the collective. When we all come together, we form the perfection of the Universe, pure Source energy, light and love.

It’s time to turn away from the expectations, the projections and the illusions that we have build around relationships and love and seek what you desire first from within. It’s time to delve into the beauty and light that is in the core of your being. It’s time to get past the physical issues; large or small; that you have let dictate your worth, and see the larger picture. It is time to expand past your story and everything that you have been taught to believe or allowed yourself to believe, and make space for more light.

Sit quietly and take a few deep breaths, setting the intention to connect with the love that resides within you, and follow it back to it’s pure and infinite source. Feel the grounding energy of the Earth beneath your feet. Feel the safe, dense, tangible love flowing up from below, from our beautiful mother Earth. Feel the top of your head, your crown chakra, open up and become filled with light streaming down from the cosmos above. Both of these forms of love, meeting in the middle, right in the center of your body; your heart chakra, Anahata. Take a few deep breaths and set the intention that you will keep this connection open and flowing, ever expanding. Allowing more and more and and even more love and light to flow through you. Up from the Earth. Down from the Universe. See the light radiating out of your body, bright emerald green close to your heart with a circle of bright light beaming out. Breathe the light in and out. Send it to any areas of your life that need healing. Send it to loved ones who need healing. Send it around the planet to heal every plant, every creature and Gaia herself. Send it out to the angels and ancestors in the Universe. See it connecting back to Source. See yourself, from this moment on, as a beacon of love and light on this planet. This is why you came here. This is why you are called a lightworker. Do you remember?

You are more powerful in the high vibrational state of unconditional love than you can imagine. You can make a difference in this state.
