Divination Message: Do not fear the foreign or Alien
A foreign, exotic or unusual element is entering your life. Do not allow yourself to be intimidated, scared, or avoidant. This foreign element may literally be a person from another country or culture, an opportunity overseas, or simply a situation feels alien to you at first. Use this opportunity to expand your horizons, embrace the uncommon, and experiment with new flavors, sounds, and ideas. Consider challenging yourself by learning a new language or investing the cultural traditions of another nation. Although it may feel intimidating at first, the foreign element in your life will ultimately feel very rewarding and enriching. It may result in a new passion or you may even find your life headed in a very different, but very exciting, direction.”

We are programmed to fear the unknown in order to protect ourselves from what may potentially be dangerous for us. Often we fear what we do not yet understand, and we push away opportunity that could be exactly what we need due to fear of the unseen future.
This card is a message that things are about to get a little shaken up, and you are being asked to sidestep the fear and meet opportunity head on. Breathe through the fear to quell the ego, and move forward fearlessly into the mystery. This means new people, new places and new opportunities. It could mean signing up for a new class all by yourself, or it could mean interviewing for a job that you don’t feel qualified for. It could mean accepting a date with someone who “isn’t your type” (probably a good idea as look where your type has got you in the past! Just sayin’) Or it could mean getting out in a big huge forest all by yourself to be one with nature.
Whatever it is, you and only you will know how your opportunity will present. Take it and see where it leads you. Use your intuition, it will keep you safe. Don’t do anything that just doesn’t feel right. This is about stepping out of your comfort zone, not putting yourself in any danger. Ask the Angels to accompany you on every step of this new journey and know that you are always safe and protected in their company.
And so it is.
