Garnet ~ Passion: “Garnet was believed to protect against evil and terrifying dreams and to attract love. It was said to lose its brilliance in the face of danger. Garnet rings symbolized faithfulness and remembrance.
Self-understanding: Recognize that you have a passionate soul with a strong, courageous heart. Be confident and constant. Let go of your inner demons, taboos, inhibitions and fantasies, recognize where you sabotage yourself and expand your awareness into all that you can be. Virtue matters to you and you are capable of great devotion to a cause or a relationship and have a strong survival instinct.
Divination: The time for action is now. A mystery is solved. Have courage. There is a way out. Turn a crisis into a learning challenge. If danger approaches, stay calm – you are protected and your enemies have been vanquished. Be emotionally honest with yourself and others. You may attract a partner for sexual healing. Garnet is a warrior stone which can be worn by men or women to assist the wearer to connect with their passion and see themselves as worthy, strong and true. Garnet was, and still is, considered to be the stone of the Goddess Sekhmet. Sekhmet is the Egyptian Goddess of War, who has the head of a lion and the body of a woman. She is considered one of the most powerful Goddesses of Egyption times.
Garnet has strong connections to the blood and the passion that runs through our veins. It is thought to purify the blood and organs, by removing toxins and negative energies, transmuting them to positive energies. It helps the organs and physical heart by adding strength and increasing vitality. Garnets will help to calm, balance and focus our energies, bringing body, mind and spirit together, working as one towards creation and manifestation. Garnet is considered a stone of great success, which will aid the wearer to attract love, prosperity and opportunity in business, even in the presence of adversity. It is a most auspicious stone.
Garnets are quite affordable and can be easily obtained from a rock shop or metaphysical store. One can be placed in a pocket, used in meditation, placed under your pillow or worn in jewelry to connect with it’s amazing and beneficial energies. When placed under the pillow, it can be programmed to ward off nightmares and assist in dream recall, as well as providing strong protective shield during lucid dreaming. Keep garnet close to you at this time to stimulate expanded awareness, uplift and elevate your mood, release old patterns and connect to your true innate warrior energies.
