Listening To Your Heart: “I trust the messages I receive from my heart.”
Card Meaning: “The heart knows what the mind cannot uncover. Trust the messages you receive from your heart. Angels and guides are communicating with you. In sweet, soft stillness, listen to their gentle whispers.”
The Universe Wants You To Know: “If you are facing a decision and your mind says one thing but your heart says another, follow the dictates of your heart and you will be on the right path. If you get a nudge to speak to someone or go in a particular direction, do not hesitate. Follow this guidance. Whenever you feel challenged and you do not know where to turn, quiet your mind and listen with your heart. The correct path will appear, for Spirit wants to speak to you. There is a message for your right now. Watch the signs, and the message will unfold effortlessly.”
Questions To Ask Yourself: “What or whom do I need t listen to? Is there an area of my life in which I need to listen to my heart rather than my mind? If I was aware of a secret message from Spirit right now, what would it be?”

Your heart is your connection to your Soul, your Higher Self. It is your GPS, your intuition and your bridge to your dreams. Yet, many of us have been raised to believe that if we are “following our hearts” that we are selfish or frivolous, that we will never really amount to anything and that we aren’t taking our lives seriously enough. So we turn away from our hearts and its beautiful messages and listen instead to our minds. The ego takes over.
We compromise the yearning of our hearts in order to please others, doing what we see as being “the right thing to do” rather than taking the risk of letting our hearts lead the way. We protect our hearts by carefully guarding them, frightened that if we are too open we may get hurt. Yet what are we missing out on when we don’t listen to what our hearts have to say? Where would we be now if we truly listened?
What would you change right now if you were only listening to your heart? If no one could get hurt by it, no one would judge you, and you had complete self acceptance, what would you do? Would you buy a plane ticket and fly right out of here? Would you quit your job and start your own business? Leave your relationship? Become an artist or a musician?
Where does your passion lie?
I’m not suggesting that you upturn your entire life this instant, but what I am suggesting is that you use whatever information came to you in answer to the above questions to infuse your life with more joy. Make a plan to include more of what you love into your life by consistently steering yourself in that direction.
Let your heart take the wheel.
