Mythology: “In Hindu India, Shakti (pronounced shock’tee), the Goddess, is active, powerful, vital – the animating force of the universe. The masculine is the passive, inert, dormant force. Each Shakti has her God with whom she unties in sexual union. Without union, neither can do anything. To the Tanric mystics, the ultimate union with Shakti happens at the moment of death. Humans have taken their sacred sexual energies and cheapened them, by seeing them as flesh based instant gratification. Gum commercials are now sexier than beer commercials, and sex is used to sell everything from hardware and tools  to food of every variety and everything in between. But as things shift and transform, we are finally realizing that we are missing something… something big!

We are missing tapping into our most sacred and creative powers, the energy that can be used to access the highest connection of love and light. And it does not have to hinge on finding a sexual partner… it’s all about you (and no, I’m not talking about that right now either…). In fact, it need not have anything to do with genitals or sexual body parts… this particular energy is linking body, mind and spirit. Once you master this, you may decide to add the sexual aspect. That is up to you. Find your own bliss first.

Through finding peace and oneness with the Divine by connecting to the sacred Kundalini energy, and bringing it up through mother Gaia and through your spine, clearing, aligning and energizing your energy centers, (or chakra), out your crown and right up into the Universe. When this connection is made, we are open to everything the Universe has to offer. Joy, bliss, connection to All That Is. Peace and enlightnement are all on offer. This is most powerfully accessed through the Breath; the bridge between the dimensions.

If we can learn to still our minds and be with the silence and tune in to our Breath.

If we can connect to this potent energy and use it for what it was intended for; sacred creation and when sharing with someone we love, sacred union. There is nothing fast and cheap about this energy, it is deeply profound and should be treated with the utmost respect.
