Daily Angel Oracle Card: Presence, from the Chakra Insight Oracle Card deck, by Caryn Sangster, artwork by Amy Edwards

Presence: “Awareness, Attention, Reality, Connection”

“A path of miracles is unfolding right now, in this moment. You must be present to win.”

Card Story: “In the morning light of a spring filled forest, a young girl is drawn into the radiant presence of one of life’s purest creative forces – a honeybee in motion. With the sun on her  skin and the gentle breeze filling her lungs, there is nowhere else to be in this moment but right here, connected the pulse of the natural world and her own true nature. In this space, she cannot help but smile from the very center of her being. This moment my last only seconds, but within this window, miracles abound.”

Card Message: “In the increasingly hectic lifestyles we lead these days, we are often lured by the pull of multi-tasking. While our hands and bodies are busy, the mind also tends to busy itself, wandering into the past, the future and everywhere in between. It has become extremely common (and in many cases acceptable) to be less than fully present in life. Amidst our daily activities, as we drive, as we work and even as we commune with friends and loved ones, we are often fragmented and distracted. In this state, we do not even realize the magic we are missing.

This card is a bold invitation to bring your presence back to the moment and to see what great gifts you are ready to unfold right here where you are. Practice catching yourself when thoughts or actions stray from your immediate experience. Become aware of your thought patterns and gently bring yourself back to the moment, with the knowledge that right now, you are right where you need to be.

Even when a situation genuinely needs to change, often the best first step is to bring our awareness back to what is. When we are busy putting all our thoughts and energy into the past or the future, we do not see the spiritual support and the blessings that are present in each moment. This card encourages you to gently bring yourself back from dwelling anywhere other than in the ‘now.’ By being fully present, we are able to recognize and utilize the guidance available to us.

Stop for a moment and bring your full attention to this present moment. Bring your awareness to your breath, to your body and surroundings. What can you hear and what do you smell in the air? What would happen if you brought to this moment your wholehearted presence?

Allow blessings and glorious new opportunities to flow into your life now… and be fully present to perceive and receive them. Affirm to yourself that you are right where you need to be in this moment, knowing that there are no limits to what the Universe can deliver through the doorway of your presence.

Be here now!”

~ By Caryn Sangster

‘Be here now.’ This is such an important message for us all. All of us could do with the reminder to pull ourselves back into the present moment. There is so much going on around us; too much most of the time. Work, bills, family responsibilities, home care, pets, and the number one waster of the present moment: technology. Busyness to the point of overwhelm and the habit of living a life of distraction just to feel like we can get away from it all.

But when we are living in this hamster wheel of craziness and busyness, we miss out on all the important things in life. We miss out on the connections, the love, the magic of the natural world. And that makes us feel sad and disconnected; isolated. Like something is missing. And we search for it. But we search in all the wrong places. We add more stuff, we buy stuff, we try to get away, we distract ourselves more, and we get more desolate. We think it is because we need something physical, we need to buy something, go somewhere, meet someone. And that starts the hamster wheel going even faster.

But if we can just learn to stop and jump off the wheel, we can find new meaning in the simple things in life. We can appreciate our loved ones more, and connect on a deeper level. We can immerse ourselves in the miracles of the natural world. We can learn to say no instead of living in overwhelm. We can make time for the things that make us happy, that lift us up, that ignite us. And those are often the simple things in life.

Commit today to practice mindfulness. To work on being in the present moment…. as often as you can. One little trick that works to bring yourself back into the now moment is to focus on your breath, following it through your nose and all the way down into your belly and all the way out again. Another is to gaze at the back of your hand (I’m not entirely sure why this works so effectively but we will just call it magic). Remember that the present moment is the most powerful time we ever really have. It is the time to set intentions. The time to focus our energy. The time to be receptive and the time to step fully into ourselves.

Master the art of being in the present moment and master your life, taking full responsibility for the shifts and changes that become available. Opening up to the Universal connection. And becoming the most powerful version of yourself.

Divine Support

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Divine Support, from the Whispers Of Lord Ganesha Oracle Card deck, by Angela Hartfield, artwork by Ekaterina Golovanova

Divine Support: “AUM is a powerful tool for bringing focus and awareness to the deeper meaning of life.:

“Ganesha is strongly connected to the mystical syllable AUM (sometimes written as “OM”). The sacred AUM is the most important universal symbol of the divine presence in Hinduism. It is held to be the cosmic sound, which was generated when the world first came into existence. The written form of this divine symbol when reversed gives the flawless outline of Ganesha.

The use of the AUM sound is one way to help you connect to the divine support available to you now. Ganesha is ready to share his wisdom, knowledge and guidance that is innate within his being. You now have the opportunity to cultivate a closer relationship with Ganesha or with any Ascended Master or divine being that resonates with you.

Drawing on divine support facilitates a greater connection to your divine voice, which can be a source of inspiration and great wisdom in times of uncertainty or challenge. Ganesha’s desire is to assist you on your life path. Know that he is guiding you away from fear, distress, and anguish, and towards the light and love at the center of your being – the same light and love which resonates through the vast Universe and which is contained within the universal sound of AUM. Consider chanting this tone or listening to a recording of AUM to bring about the energetic shift that is needed at this time.”*

~By Angela Hartfield

AUM is magic. It is creation; sacred geometry of sound connecting everything in the Universe as One. It is everything we need right now; bringing us back to peace, harmony and connection to All That Is. Chanting it in your own voice ads an extra layer of magic, mystery and deep connection. Connection to your Higher Self and connection to your angels and guides. It is a call to the Ascended Masters who wish to work with you now. Try starting your day with three consecutive AUMs, and finishing it as well. See the difference it makes to connect your physical heart to your Soul essence. It’s powerful; profound.

Ganesha, the breaker of obstacles comes to you now to assist you to move forward fearlessly into a new chapter of your life. Use the AUM to dispell fear and doubt. Call upon him to assist you in your endeavours.

If you prefer to listen, my favourite OM is the video below by Jonathan Goldman. My kids are acting up? I put it on. Stressed, cleaning the house or sleeping… I put it on. It brings me back to myself, where I can find stillness and balance.

Nisroc ~ Freedom

Published June 30, 2017 by Dee ~ Archangel Oracle

Nisroc ~ Freedom, from the Angel Blessings Oracle Card deck, by Kimberly Marooney

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Nisroc ~ Freedom, from the Angel Blessings Oracle Card deck, by Kimberly Marooney

Nisroc ~ Freedom:

“Stone walls do not a prison make, nor iron bars a cage;
Minds innocent and quiet take that for an hermitage;
If I have freedom in my love and in my soul am free,
Angels alone that soar above enjoy such liberty.”

~Richard Lovelace, To Althea: From Prison

Nisroc is known as the ‘Great Eagle.’ His flight into the Heavens is the symbol of freedom. On the physical level, there is freedom to travel where you want and be safe from harm, to be able to say what you feel and make choices for yourself. As you go deeper into your awareness, freedom becomes the ability to feel the unconditional love of the Eternal.

Freedom is an inner knowing of who you are and why you are here. You feel balanced, secure and well-loved, free from the shackles of guilt, fear, unworthiness, anger and jealousy. In their place are love, compassion and wisdom. You follow the call of your Eternal Self as you finally begin the work you came here to do. Death no longer has a grip on you. Instead, the thought of leaving your body behind brings an incredible rapture as wave upon wave of love carries you Home. Yet you are joyous to stay here and serve as long as the divine will desires.

Denied feelings form blocks in the ability of your nervous system to receive and experience the ecstasy and rapture that are the result of union with the Eternal. Nisroc carries he power to uncover deep feelings that you don’t even know exist, the bars of your own self-made prison. This emotional baggage results in fixed options and judgments about how life should be and how you should behave.

Illusions include self-destructive habits like overeating that reduce your ability to feel; ways you manipulate the flow of your energy with alcohol, drugs, sugar and caffeine; mental patterns of negative self-talk; behavior patterns of stress; and denied fear and anger that subtly affect your interactions with others. Illusions are difficult to perceive at first. With some practice, you will begin to recognize them at work in your own life. It takes courage, persistence and intense desire to walk in truth.

Break free! Unwanted circumstances are often an opportunity to notice a judgment or fixed belief that is ready to go. The key to releasing these judgments is through your feelings. Be willing to retrieve those repressed memories of abuse and betrayal. They may come to you as a dream, a sudden waking memory, or a situation in our current life. Look at the world around you. How do you feel watching the news? How do your family and friends treat you? What happens to you at work? How do your belongings feel: your home, car, clothes, etc? Do they feel like you? How do you treat yourself? Be willing to deeply feel the impact inside yourself. Where do you feel it in your body? If you are afraid to feel it deeply, ask for courage and strength. Once you are willing to stop denying pain and face it, God can send transforming Love to heal your broken heart and body. When pain and judgment leave, you have the opportunity to fill the space with love, creativity, peace, or whatever you desire. When you have the courage to face the intensity of these denied feelings and break through, Nisroc brings a feeling of elation and conquest. Carried on his wings of truth, you will find the freedom to reveal your Eternal Self.”*

~ By Kimberly Marooney

Oh this message is an amazing reminder of what we were talking about yesterday… an illusion which is just a speed bump along the way in your journey. Look at all the illusions that we allow to hold us back, all those self-destructive habits that distract us from our own true power.

It truly is time to break free from it all.

With freedom comes responsibility, and it is the best feeling in the world to take complete responsibility of your life. It means no longer allowing yourself to feel the victim. It means taking charge and making changes where necessary. It means full artistic license to manifest a brand new reality.

Freedom is yours. What will you do with this precious gift?

Treading

Published December 28, 2016 by Dee ~ Archangel Oracle
Treading, from the Tao Oracle, by Ma Deva Padma

Treading, from the Tao Oracle, by Ma Deva Padma

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Treading, from the Tao Oracle, by Ma Deva Padma

Treading: “There are basically two modes of conduct in human life: conduct that arises from ego, and conduct that arises from essence. While it can be a lifelong endeavor to acquire the inner awareness, centering, and integration that enable you to act from essence, the hexagram of Treading characterizes a situation where the differences between these two modes of conduct come sharply into focus.

When you feel impatient or irritated with someone or something, it is a sure sign that the ego is agitated by the possibility its desires won’t be met. The ego isn’t hard to identify once it begins aggressively promoting its own cause and pushing others aside to get its way, regardless of the consequences. Cut off from any influence other than its own wants, the ego fuels an inner attitude that undervalues other people and, consciously or unconsciously, oversteps their personal boundaries. You tend to believe you have special dispensation to go for it regardless of whether ‘it’ is in sync with the rest of life or not. Anyone who is seen to be working at cross purposes to the ego’s agenda is self-righteously dismissed as irrelevant, inept, or impossible.

In situations involving the completion of a project, or working together with a team, ego-driven conduct never takes responsibility for the glitches, but it is quick to claim the credit for any success. In situations of private unhappiness, it is the ego that wants to avoid all responsibility by placing blame on some other person, superstition, or outside force like fate.

Once we have lost the awareness and integrity of essence and become distracted by the demands of the ego, we tend to start acting like robots, using old conditioned behaviour patterns that are so entrenched that we start thinking this is what makes up ‘me.’ For the ego, functioning from habit is trouble-free because it can play out its favourite program of fantasies and projections without interference from the risky reality that opens up when sensitivity, spontaneity, and trust are allowed to lead the way.

The essence, on the other hand, is so self-assured and at home in its own skin that it has no need to prove itself by advancing its own goals against the goals of others. It is happy to move on the middle path and takes great interest in the challenge of remaining aware of each step on the way. When you act from essence, in other words, you act with awareness and sensitivity to all the variables in play, including the feelings of those around you, the demands of the times, and how your actions might best promote a greater sense of harmony and understanding. This is particularly true when you sense that there is trouble brewing somewhere ‘out there’ or within yourself. When you act from essence, you understand that marching to the beat of your own drum is not contradictory to playing in harmony with the band. We tread this fine line between egoistic drives and essential awareness throughout the whole of our lives. Getting savvy to these individual attributes of human nature makes the going a lot less treacherous, and a lot more rewarding.”*

~ By Ma Deva Padma

Who runs our lives, our egos or our Souls?

If we are not sure, it is quite easy to figure it out. Are you stressed, fearful, worried, doubtful, angry, frustrated, jealous, possessive, spiteful or judgmental? Or are you  able to detach from this lower vibrational emotions and look at situations with compassion, understanding, love and acceptance? When we let ego steer the ship, we spend a lot of time trying to compete or one up others. We worry that what we have may be taken from us. We worry we may be alone, in poverty, or rejected. We shun those who are different from us. We protect what is ours and we are distrusting of others. We think that life is hard and that we must fight to get what we want.

When we let Soul take over, we can relax. We can trust in the Universe. We can share of ourselves. We can let others be themselves without trying to judge or change them. We can forgive. We feel compassion. We know that we are taken care of, and that we will prosper. We believe in ourselves, and we know that we can make good choices. We don’t have to worry about repeating old patterns. We learn and we move forward.

This message is an invitation to look closely at what aspect is ruling your reality. Ego or Soul? If you find that ego has crept in when you weren’t paying attention, reign it in and trust. Listen to your intuition instead of the voice of fear. Follow your heart instead of focusing on the worst-case-scenario. You got this!

Soul whispers to you through your heart center. Weigh your options in your heart center when making decisions. Do what feels light and right to you, for the highest good. Don’t worry about losing what is yours, as what is yours will come to you.

Open your heart and lead with love. Give the ego a much needed vacation.

Seven of Fire

Published December 23, 2016 by Dee ~ Archangel Oracle
Seven of Fire, from the Dreams Of Gaia Oracle Card deck, by Ravynne Phelan

Seven of Fire, from the Dreams Of Gaia Oracle Card deck, by Ravynne Phelan

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Seven of Fire, from the Dreams Of Gaia Oracle Card deck, by Ravynne Phelan

Seven of Fire: “Divination, Signs, Heeding Intuition, Looking Within, Seeking Answers, Discovery, Awareness, Trust”

Key Phrases: “Heed your intuition, a feeling of recognition, inexplicable coincidences, moments that repeat, personal interpretation is crucial, only you know the answer, look beyond the surface, observe and be aware.”

Card Meaning: “The Seven of Fire represents the development and use of one’s intuition to see the way forward, and predict possible outcomes. Intuition is that gut feeling – it is an instinctual or unconscious knowing – that, when you heed it, can keep you safe from making mistakes, and lead you to being in the right place at the right time. It is a feeling of recognition that we often ignore, but if we choose to heed, can have us moving through life in harmonious accord with our surroundings.

In actively using and then trusting your intuition on a regular basis, you may find you observe more, and in turn, you learn more. You start to see and take notice of signs and messages along the way. You take notice of those little inexplicable coincidences and moments that keep repeating, and, if you heed them, can take you on an adventure of discovery, revealing not only the truths you seek, but also your reason for being. Using and heeding your intuition can lead you to opportunities and experiences that offer the potential to both fulfill you and inspire others.

However, to trust in one’s intuition requires that you look within and determine what the message means to you personally. You can ask the advice of another. You can seek guidance from another. But only you know your answers. Personal interpretation is key. Trusting in the knowledge that is stored within your unconscious mind is key.

Third parties can offer insight, but they see and understand life through eyes that have been shaped and influenced by their own experiences, not yours. Only you know what something means for you, specifically. Only you know if something is right for you. The Seven of Fire represents a need to actively develop or trust in your intuition and instincts at this time. Look around you. Observe. Speak to the cards on a regular basis, and honour the truths revealed by going where your intuition leads you.”

Potential Blockage: “Divination means to foretell or predict the future. Sometimes, our intuition guides us, and at other times it is a simple awareness born of observation and paying attention. At other times, it is a marriage of both.

Every day we are given signs that, if heeded, can reveal what is to come. The Seven of Fire reversed, represents a need to watch for those signs and heed the insights they offer. Observe the people around you. Look closely at patterns of behaviour that repeat, and pay attention to words spoken that lack mirroring actions. Take not of promises broken, overreactions to questions, an inability to meet the eyes, and laughter that seems forced or contrived. They are all indications that there is more going on. Learn to watch. Learn to listen. Heed what your observations and senses are telling you. If you have a tendency to dismiss them, don’t. Don’t ignore them. If your gut tells you something is not as it seems, then look beyond the surface and see what is truly there… and then address it.

Seven of Fire as challenger cautions you against being dismissive. Pay attention. Look. Observe. Discern the truth. Address the contradictions and inconsistencies. See the signs – even the ones that might seem a little obscure and insignificant. They may foretell a future that is not in accordance with your goals.”*

~ By Ravynne Phelan

Use your intuition. What is it telling you? This is your Higher Self, your Soul, talking to you. This is the way the guidance comes, through your body, through the whisperings of your heart. What feels light and right? What feels like it’s missing, or doesn’t sit well with you. Watch the people around you. Watch for actions matching words. This is authenticity, when promises are kept, and behaviour matches the talk. If they are not walking their talk, then you walk in the opposite direction, that one is not for you!

Do not override this guidance, it is a precious gift. Yes, you are right, trust in yourself. If you feel that feeling, and you just know something is not as it seems… trust that you are correct and wait for confirmation, it will come. Then listen to it and distance yourself. Create boundaries that allow you to assess the situation without getting dragged in, hook, line and sinker! Earth Angels and Lightworkers want to see the best in everyone, believe me, I KNOW! And yet, unfortunately, not everyone is in the place in their lives to give you their best, and you cannot fix them, or work on their potential for them. But you can bless and release them and let them go their own way, it is after all, their journey, just as this is yours.

Listen to yourself. Do not justify the behaviour of another for any reason. Be honest and true to you.

Deliverance

Published October 11, 2016 by Dee ~ Archangel Oracle
Deliverance, from the Tao Oracle, by Ma Deva Padma

Deliverance, from the Tao Oracle, by Ma Deva Padma

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Deliverance, from the Tao Oracle, by Ma Deva Padma

Deliverance: “The time of Deliverance is captured best in the image of a thunderstorm. As in nature, when there has been a long dry spell, and thunderheads are gathering on the horizon, the time for deliverance is at hand. Before a storm breaks, the accumulation of energy and tension can build to a point where it feels almost unbearable. Then, the sudden release of pent up energy in lightening and thunder delivers the earth from the oppressive conditions in the gusts of wind and cooling rains.

Awareness and grounding are especially needed at ta time like this, lest euphoria. The small, ordinary things of life still need careful and ongoing attention – and taking care of business is the best preventative medicine to ward off the let-down that can often follow such a high.

That is not to say it is inappropriate to rejoice or feel unburdened now – rather, enjoy and keep your feet on the ground. When a thunderstorm has passed, there is an uncommon freshness and sense of renewal in the air… and there is often a fair amount of debris on the ground that needs sorting through and cleaning up. It is vital now to identify and clear away any destructive thoughts or actions that might have created the heavy atmosphere that lead up to the storm. Taking time for reflection will strengthen your ability to learn from your actions and help you to gain the clarity not to repeat the same mistakes in the future. No matter what the sources of past tensions, it is now possible to observe them with less passion and greater equanimity. And it is from this detached perspective that you can best understand what steps you need to take to move forward.

A word of caution: ‘detachment’ is cool, free from emotional storms and drama, but it is not cold and unfeeling. In the aftermath of all the storms and interplay of energies, in life, it is always important to maintain a spirit of open-heartedness and compassion. Forgiveness is a healing force, and it is just as important to forgive ourselves as it is to forgive others. In fact, the two often go together. By letting go of the past and its turmoil, you will clear the ground for the lessons of Deliverance to take firm root in the soil and grow into a deeper and more profound liberation of the spirit.

If any hurts or misunderstandings remain unaddressed in the current situation, it is time to acknowledge them, do whatever is possible to heal the wounds or clear up the misunderstandings, and move on. There is a window of opportunity now to move quickly and decisively into a new order of things, and this is best accomplished with heartfelt gratitude for all the lessons learned.”

~ Ma Deva Padma

If you have recently gained perspective and walked away from a person, job or any situation which no longer served your highest good, congratulations for your courageousness. It is imperative however, that you look closely at the feelings associated with this particular person or situation. Is there any lingering hurt, negativity or resentment? Are any grudges being held against another person? Have you looked deep within to find compassion and forgiveness? It is time. This is how the healing will commence. This is the bridge to the next step in your journey.

Detach from the rawness and drama of the emotions associated with what is happening now, or has recently happened. Find a way to forgive both yourself and anyone else involved. Make peace with this situation and the outcome, even if it is uncomfortable now.

Focus on the healing process rather than the outcome, this is the deliverance you seek. Know that when you are loving, no matter what happened, and you see the lesson, you can set yourself free.

It is time to be truly free.

And so it is

The Guardian Of The Gate

The Guardian Of The Gate, from the Faeries’ Oracle, by Brian Froud and Jessica MacBeth

Daily Angel Oracle Card: The Guardian Of The Gate, from the Faeries’ Oracle, by Brian Froud and Jessica MacBeth

The Guardian Of The Gate: “Passages to new life. Openings. Gatekeeping”

“The principle task of The Guardian Of The Gate is to facilitate the passage from one realm to another and to block the passage of that which is not ready to pass. These realms may be Earth, Faery, the cosmos of the Singers, or Unity. They can also be considered as levels of reality or states of consciousness. In one state of consciousness we are in the ordinary world, in another we are in Faery or Unity. Our bodies do not move but our minds do. The Guardian Of The Gate of Unity facilitates the passages of humans and faeries into Unity, to be filled by that song when it is their time. We cannot make the mystical experience happen to us; we can only open our hearts wider and wider until we are ready, usually only momentarily, to receive it. The Guardian Of The Gate recognizes our readiness. Along this line, one man in the Oracle on-line group notes, “We see the energy gathering into the starry gate (or streaming out of it) in the picture, but we cannot tell what is happening on the other side of the gate.” This is very suggestive of how these gates and our passages through them can be.

This is the primal spirit of all of the guardians that appear when we are about to step through all metaphorical and most physical gateways. From the guardians of the passages between the worlds to the guardians (doorkeepers) at your own front door, they are all manifestations of one spirit, like facets of different sizes on the surface of one diamond. Naturally, this card shows the Guardian at the gateway to Faery and also to the Faeries’ Oracle itself. Every person, every faery, who has ever helped us through an important passage, was manifesting the energy of the Guardian.

Now the Guardian holds the gate of the otherworld open for us. All we need to do is to enter.

Starter Reading: Drawing this card indicates that a passage is being made to the beginning of something new in our lives. It speaks of new opportunities and new openings. Passing through this gate may lead to a physical journey, a mental or an emotional one, or a journey of the spirit. It always leads to adventure. This gateway will also lead to significant change in our lives. The passage through such a gate changes us.

The gate we face may not seem like much, the decision to enter may not seem to be a matter of great moment, but the presence of the Guardian at the Gate tells us that something important is happening. It indicates that going forward through that gate is not small thing, but something to be approached with awareness and prayerfulness. We are embarking on a new phase of our lives, and there will be no going back once this gate has been passed. That is the kind of transition The Guardian Of The Gate leads us to – always to irrevocable change. We may, of course, ask The Guardian Of The Gate for guidance and protection on our journey – and we would be wise to do so.

Alternatively, the presence of the Gatekeeper in a reading may indicate that the querent is being asked to help open a gate for someone else, to help provide an opportunity for them. The job of a gatekeeper (or gate keeper’s assistant) is merely to open the gate, not to push people through it.”

by Brian Froud and Jessica MacBeth

This Gate is a portal to new and previously unexplored dimensions. It is a one way trip to transformation and higher states of awareness. Once stepped through, it is only available to those who have not yet come to it on their journey, for those who have gone through it, it is no longer in the same realm.

The Gate is a calling to the New. It is in perfect alignment with our true Soul path, and will help to correct us on our course. If we have been misdirected, it will guide us back on a journey which will forever change every aspect of our Being.

The Guardian Of The Gateway is a representation of our Soul, speaking to us through our hearts. Whisperings, longings, urgings that can no longer be ignored. Once the decision is made to move forward fearlessly, there is no doubling back; no repeating the old patterns, no believing the old beliefs, no going back to the old ways. Everything here is new, transformative, in perfect Divine Order.

Open up to the guidance of The Guardian Of The Gate. Embrace the opportunities that abound. Embark on this journey with full receptivity; open mind and open heart; knowing that things will never be the same. And that’s a good thing.

Boldly move forward and assist others too; guide them gently forward towards the Gate, allowing them the gift of choice to move through it.

Be the Truth. Be the Way.  Be the Light. Be the Love.

And so it is, Dear One. You are standing before the Gate. It is time to step through.
