Daily Angel Oracle Card: Boundaries, from the Sacred Power Reading Cards, by Anna Stark, artwork by Louis Dyer

Boundaries: “Chase your dreams. Opportunities are endless.”

“Throughout our lives, we sometimes feel our movements are restricted. Whether it is our career, finances, relationship, travel or living arrangements, we need to grow as individuals. But we can only do that by breaking old molds and creating new experiences. There is so much potential within you, but you must be willing to be bold and brave.

Breaking barriers is only possible when you overcome your anxiety about moving past physical and emotional boundaries. While it may be comfortable and less risky to stay where you are, you have more opportunities on the other side of the wall. Having the confidence to step forward onto a new path might be a frightening or an exhilarating prospect. Have faith! For moral support, discuss these avenues and your emotions with close friends and family before making any decisions.

Right now, your soul is asking you to break away from traditional thinking, and to step outside the box to find solutions to the issues you are facing. The universe is encouraging your growth right now by giving you gentle nudges to explore new ideas.

Healthy emotional and physical boundaries are encouraged now. Establish your personal power by creating new boundaries to balance the give and take in relationships and personal connections.

New opportunities will arise, when you are ready to take that step forward. Take advantage of the opportunities when they come. You have the momentum to push forward with success now if you choose to do so.”

Affirmation: “I AM able to create healthy boundaries, supporting my personal growth and potential.”*

~ By Anna Stark

We are being asked to assess what boundaries have been in place that have been stopping us from reaching for our dreams. Boundaries can be a good thing; they can establish personal space and protect our energies, and these should always be in place and be respected. But boundaries can also create challenges and perceived limitations. We are talking about the latter here.

We are talking about a shift in perspective that allows us to see things from a different angle altogether. Like the Hanged Man card, sometimes we need to turn things right upside down in order to see a whole new way of being in the world. Note the image on the card. The man and the woman are able to come up with a solution to climb the wall; a simple ladder… and most importantly, the courage to go through with the plan. They are leaving their simple life for something more magical; the bright light of the castle beckons.

Why keep your dreams small? Why keep yourself small? Why not aim higher? Why not break out of the mold and leave your comfort zone to make your dreams a reality?

“New opportunities will arise, when you are ready to take that step forward. Take advantage of the opportunities when they come. You have the momentum to push forward with success now if you choose to do so.”

Anything is possible, focus your energy wisely.

Hold Your Center

Published September 25, 2017 by Dee ~ Archangel Oracle

Hold Your Center, from the Lightworker Oracle, by Alana Fairchild, artwork by Mario Duguay

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Hold Your Center, from the Lightworker Oracle, by Alana Fairchild, artwork by Mario Duguay

Hold Your Center: “Have you been rushing out to meet others, trying to bend or accommodate their needs at the expense of your own well being and inner peace? Now you are to strengthen your own energy, your won boundaries, to find your ground, firmly place your feet there and do not move. Feel your feet anchoring you like a beautiful tree. Let yourself experience quiet certainty, as you hold your center with commitment, courage and consciousness.”

“You are learning to trust in your own instincts, to take your own journey without comparison to the life path of another. There is no need to become disheartened or distracted by comparisons or judgments. The earth needs your light, which can only come from you. You will offer so much less if you try to match your beauty to what you perceive the beauty of another.

Many souls who are different and unique were not understood, acknowledged and valued for whom they were as children. Instead, they were encouraged to conform, to change, to be other than their true self in order to be loved. This can be a hard pattern to break. Yet the time is here for you to love and honour yourself as yourself. You are beautiful. You do not need to change for another. You certainly do not need to change for the Divine. You are being encouraged, instead, to distill your essence, to become even more of you. Hold your center, now, and do not be rattled by any other, through intimidation, confrontation, doubt, jealousy or fear. To ‘hold your center’ means you accept your innate value and worth, your right to exist and thrive and accept the love that created you as you in order to fulfill your divine destiny.

This oracle brings you confirmation. You are on the right path. You do not need to collapse into fear or doubt to ease old guild or make others more comfortable. It is not selfish or ‘hard’ of you to be strong. You can hold yourself in high esteem and be gentle and loving to others, whilst absolutely refusing to accept any behaviour, belief or attitude of another that would tear you down or cast you into doubt or self-hatred.

As part of your spiritual training, your soul learned to be open, to receive guidance and channel healing. This is what you needed to be able to do to function as a healer, channel and lightworker. You had to be sensitive, receptive and open. Now is the time to balance that with resilience, strength and even some divine stubbornness! Refusing to give up on who you are, whilst remaining open to guidance, is the balance of loving wisdom necessary to grow yourself as a divinely unique individual in a world that often fears true individuality – simply because it cannot be easily controlled. Holding your center doesn’t mean that you no longer surrender. Instead, you consciously choose to surrender into divine love and grow more empowered.

You are here to shin a light, to be the lighthouse for others. The lighthouse doesn’t ask for permission to shine. It stand still, shines faithfully, and those who need it are guided by its light to safety. Do not lose faith in yourself, beloved soul. You know who you are. Be strong. Honour your inner beauty and your personal boundaries. You need to feel safe in your ability to say no as much as you need to know that you will say yes when your heart guides you to do so. Be true to you.”

Invocation

“I am empowered by divine love to hold my center, to be in my truth, to stay strong, to be in my integrity and to act with courage. The only energy I invite and allow to remain in my field is what which supports me unconditionally and with genuine love. I love my boundaries. They ware the way that I lovingly choose which energy to invite into my life, and which energy I choose to pass right by me. I do not judge, but I do choose I love myself and my life path, now. I hold myself with powerful and caring commitment. May all beings know their true inner strength. Through my own free will and unconditional love, so be it.”*

~ By Alana Fairchild

This card is so much confirmation for me right now. The synchronicity is perfection. I feel like I have turned a corner, and yet I am not at all where I thought I would be. And I am not talking about physically… I am talking about belief systems and quite literally where I am at inside.

I’m feeling rebellious. About pretty much everything. I’m questioning everything. I’m so tired of feeling like I need to do things a certain way in order to be… what… more spiritual? Ascending or ascended? I’m tired of worrying, wondering and analyzing my every move… on top of everything else going on in the world. From diet to lifestyle choices, to thoughts and feelings and actions I have been doing my very best to reach a certain state. And yes, I do think all that is important, but the vigilance is exhausting.

What I am feeling right now is that more than anything we are being distracted. Distracted by the media. Distracted by the gurus. Distracted by technology and materialism and consumerism and veganism and humanitarianism and sexuality. The judgment. The labels. It’s all a huge distraction.

What we are forgetting is that life can be simplified without all the fanfare, without all the judgment, and without all the labels. You can be you in the world, giving what you have to give. Offering of yourself and none of that stuff matters because it all comes naturally. Being the best that you can be without guilt or shame or guidelines. You fall into alignment with your authentic self because you want to. Because your heart leads you there.

I got rid of my tv. Not that I am suggesting you do the same. But I was so tired of the noise of it. Tired of the distraction. Tired of the constant sales, the bombardment of biassed information. I’d rather look up and read or watch something that interests me. Meditate on it. Contemplate it all.

I’m trying to simplify without guidelines. Yes of course eat healthy, organic and as raw and unprocessed as possible… but guess what… I have not reached perfection… I may never. I’m trying to drink more water; I stopped keeping track as it actually started stressing me out. I’m trying to exercise regularly. I’m trying not to beat myself up if I don’t manage to exercise because I’m so damn busy doing everything else I have to accomplish in a day. I’m doing my best. I am trying not to buy stuff I don’t need. I am trying not to be wasteful and recycle as much as possible.

I am doing my best and I am tired of trying to add every single suggestion I read. I’m tired of feeling guilty if I don’t hit perfect ever moment of every day.

It’s not about competition, it’s about coming together collectively. It’s not about who’s better but how we can assist those who need it. It’s not so much about the individual making it to the top, but the collective making it to the next level. Together. How did we get so far from that? How did we believe what they wanted us to believe. No longer. Shatter the illusions.

The bottom line with all the ascension stuff is simple. Do your very best to be the best human Being you can be. Don’t hold grudges or anger against another, as it will crush your vibes. Be kind to the earth. Be kind to animals and all Beings. Be kind to yourself. Share your heart with your loved ones. Don’t compare yourself to anyone else; that is their journey, this is yours. Right here and now is all  you ever really have. Enjoy as much of your life as you possibly can. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Be loving. Tell the people you love that you love them. Hold the intention that your actions, thoughts and feelings be for the highest good of all… and when they are not, accept that you are human and try again. Forgive yourself and others. Offer gratitude as often as you can.

Shine your light brightly.

We will all get where we need to be one way or the other; don’t judge anyone, offer them acceptance instead.

Life is too short for all the games. It’s up to each of us to decide not to play.

No one is your guru. Be your own.

Set your intention to be the best version of yourself that you can be, and let the rest go. Don’t worry so much about it. Live from the heart and know that will always be more than enough.

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Ishtar ~ Boundaries, from the Goddess Guidance Oracle Card deck, by Doreen Virtue, Ph.D

Ishtar ~ Boundaries: “Love yourself enough to say no to others’ demands on your energy”

Message From Ishtar: “A sincere desire to give of service is wonderful. However, there is a distinction between giving of yourself and giving up yourself. If you feel tired, guilty, or resentful while helping others, then you are not truly helping them, are you? You are injecting poisonous energies into the relationship, and then no one benefits. Step back and reassess the situation. As you respect your own boundaries, others will begin to recognize and respect them within you, and within themselves as well. Now that is a healthy behavior to teach others!”

Various Meanings Of This Card: “You are giving too much. Become more assertive. Do not do things out of guilt or obligation.”

About Ishtar: “She has been worshiped and invoked since ancient Babylonian times as the embodiment of Venus’s womanly energy. Ishtar represents the Divine feminine in all of her aspects, including nurturing, mothering, sensuality, fertility, healing, protection, and wisdom. As a multidimensional goddess, Ishtar does not tire of helping the men and women who call upon her for assistance.” *

Boundaries are so important and it is imperative that you work on yours now. You cannot let your energy be sapped by others, or by spreading yourself too thin. This is a powerful time of manifestation, and you will become a beacon of light to those who wish to have what you are creating. It is important to know the difference between inspiring and empowering others, and being taken advantage of. Not everyone wants to put in all the hard work that you have put in; maybe they are stuck in “victim mode” and believe that circumstance has robbed them of their true birthright. Maybe there is someone who is jealous or envious of what you have, and rather than working hard to create the same for themselves, they seek to take what is yours.

Do not let these energies scare you, and remember that you are always in complete control of your own energy. Protect yourself by creating boundaries, both physical and energetic. You can physically distance yourself from people who do not resonate with you, who are negative towards you, have toxic behaviors or who are always blaming or complaining. Even if you feel guilty for taking a step back, this is exactly what you must do at this time. In fact, by doing so, you are actually doing them a favour – instead of enabling, you are empowering them by forcing them to tackle their own lives instead of focusing on yours.

Energetically, you can use protective stones, such as obsidian, black tourmaline and labradorite (to name just a few) to protect your energy. These stones can be worn or carried to create an energetic barrier between you and others. Be sure to cleanse them regularly. You can also create crystal grids in you home to protect it and keep the energy positive and uplifting, or place crystals such as clear quartz or apophyllite in the corners of a room.

One-Ring Circus

One-Ring Circus, from The Enchanted Map Oracle Card deck, by Colette Baron-Reid

One-Ring Circus, from The Enchanted Map Oracle Card deck, by Colette Baron-Reid

Daily Angel Oracle Card: One-Ring Circus, from The Enchanted Map Oracle Card deck, by Colette Baron-Reid

One-Ring Circus: “You are capable and competent!”

“Independence is key now as you step into your journey today. Others may not have the vision or resources that you need. Recognize that all the wisdom you have acquired along the way makes you particularly competent, capable or moving forward with assurance. Self-reliance is important.

Another aspect to consider is creating and maintaining clear boundaries between you and another. Be discerning about your partnerships at this time. When you know who you are, and have a healthy sense of where you end and other begin, you are able to enter into the best kind of relationships and will attract people who mirror back your wholeness. Interdependent relationships are always mutually supportive, stimulating, and transformative. You can achieve anything at this time.”

If This Card Comes To You As Challenger: “If you think that the sun will not rise without you, then it is time to change. Perhaps you believe no one will be there to hep you, or you expect that you have to do all the work, emotional or otherwise. This is a fear based idea and only serves to alienate you from others by taking away their right to participate.

Revieving the One-Ring Circus card may indicate a misuse of power. Give it up, let go of the need to control how the wind blows, and let others play their part. You do not need to be invincible, have all the answers, or be the savior. Things will get done if you step out of your own way.

Yet another meaning for this card suggests that someone else may be trying to control you. This needs to be addressed. Do not be afraid to set a boundary – this is a wonderful step to interdependence. Consider the example of two trees planted side by side sharing the sunlight equally, neither overshadowing the other.”*

~ By Colette Baron-Reid

It is time to really trust your own instincts and intuition. It is great to have support and someone to bounce idea off of, but do not get sucked into thinking that you must seek advice or approval from others in order to move forward at this time. In fact, even well meaning advice may actually hinder your progress at this time, particularly if the person giving it has had different life experiences than you have, and may be motivated out of fear to try to protect you. You have all the protection you need surrounding you at this time through your angels, guides and ascended masters. You do not need to second guess yourself; go with your gut, and follow your heart.

On that note, it is wise to really make sure you are checking in with yourself and your inner wisdom. This is not a time to ignore any “red flags” that you are getting from your own intution. Use all of your senses to make decisions that are for the highest good of all, and if something or someone just doesn’t feel right, trust that there is a reason your instincts are telling you this. Do some research, ask more questions, take note of circumstances and behaviours. Do not allow yourself to be controlled by others, you are more than capable of creating what you want in your life at this time. If what looked good no longer has a good feel, change directions. If something or someone just feels right to you, move forward and listen to your intuition.

It really is as simple as that.

Durga ~ Boundaries

Durga ~ Boundaries, from the Goddess Oracle Card deck, by Amy Sophia Marashinsky and Hrana Janto

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Durga ~ Boundaries, from the Goddess Oracle Card deck, by Amy Sophia Marashinsky and Hrana Janto

Durga ~ Boundaries

“When threatened by demons

I fiercely protect myself

with all that I am

with all that I have

from deep within

I call forth all that I need

I am the “Inaccessible”

for I place myself beyond the reach of all that would destroy me

all that would annihilate me

all that tries to wound me

I am the “unapproachable”

for nothing can get at me that I do not willingly let in

I dance my dance of oneness

only with what supports me

nurtures me

loves me

For all that does not

I say: approach at your own risk!”

Mythology: “Devi is what the Goddesses is called in India. To the Hindu, all Goddesses are one goddess, different aspects of Devi or the Divine Feminine. An aspect of Devi was called into being to rid the world of the evil demon Durga (pronounced der’gah). In the battle between the Gods and the anti-gods or demons, none of the Gods could destroy Druga, so they went to Devi and asked for help. Mounting a tiger and brandishing her fearsome weapons, she attacked the demon, who changed from one terrifying form into another until Devi slew him when he transformed into a buffalo. IN remembrance of the great battle, Devi took the name of Durga.”

Meaning Of The Card: “You have called Durga into your life to help you to create boundaries. *(I define boundary as a shield or skin surrounding you that allows you to choose what you take in. All life happens outside of your boundary; you witness it and decide what you are going to take in to nurture yourself).

What are you taking inside that should remain outside? How are  you not protecting yourself, your life, your time? Is the statement “NO, I can’t do this right now, I need to care for myself,” part of your vocabulary? Perhaps you feel dumped on by others. Are you feeling pulled off center by demands to give and give and give till there is nothing left for yourself? Durga is here to assist you in nurturing wholeness b y creating and fixing the limits of your personal space. Establishing clear boundaries is an act of self-love. Having no boundaries gives others the message that you are limitless and want to be treated in a limitless way. No one is limitless; there are places where we get hurt, places where we are vulnerable, places that need to be treated with care. Durga says that boundaries are vital because they let others know who you are and where you stand.”*

~by Amy Sophia Marashinsky and Hrana Janto

It’s a common misconception that to be a Lightworker, you must give and give and give of yourself until there is nothing left. It is not about putting absolutely everyone before you, to the detriment of your health, sanity or well being. And it is not about putting others needs above your own. You are so much more valuable to the world full of energy and vitality; not drained, exhausted and stressed out.

Sounds simple enough, but believe me, as I write this, do I live it? Those who know me will laugh and tell me that I should actually read this stuff that I write, and while I am at it, I should take my own advice too! Yes, I get it, this message is for me, just as it is for you. We need boundaries! Big time!

There are several simple ways of protecting ourselves energetically, and two of my favourites are: Number one: creating a big beautiful bubble of white light and love all around us before we get out of bed, and strengthening it throughout the day whenever we start to feel drained, stressed or know that we are around negativity of any kind. Number two: wearing black tourmaline or black obsidian, yes, I love my crystals! I often wear a black obsidian bracelet on my left wrist to help filter out any negative energy; I also have a black tourmaline pendant that I place over my heart or solar plexus chakra if I know I am going to be in a crowded place or stressful situation. These stones can also be placed around a room or office to help filter the energy. Shungite can be also be used to alleviate the mental and physical stress of being surrounded by technology but requires frequent clearing.

The other great way to create boundaries is to manage your time. Allow yourself some precious down time every day, and do not relinquish this unless it is an absolute emergency! Do your yoga, meditate, get out in the forest or go to the beach and BREATHE! You deserve it! Do it every single day for at least a few minutes, you will be a better person/parent/friend/spouse if you take time to yourself every day.

Lastly, learn to say no. If this is a tricky one, start with little things and work up from there, you simply cannot take it all on. And when you say no? Release all guilt and stick to it. This will empower you to make more “no” decisions in your future and you will find yourself doing less of what stresses you out. Obligation leads to repressed feelings, anger and resentment. Let it go, let someone else take up the slack for once. Maybe then they will appreciate just how much you have been doing!

Jack-O’-Lantern ~ Protection

 Jack-O'-Lantern ~ Protection

Jack-O’-Lantern ~ Protection, from the Halloween Oracle card deck, by Stacey Demarco

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Jack-O’-Lantern ~ Protection, from the Halloween Oracle card deck, by Stacey Demarco

Jack-O’-Lantern ~ Protection:

“Oh Jack! Oh Jack!

Let me carve my protection

Shine your fire outwards

Evil rejection and reflection”

“Halloween wouldn’t be the same without the carving of pumpkins into scary jack-o’-lanterns. Glowing menacingly from porches, dinner tables and doorsteps everywhere, Jacks actually have a rich history and a spiritual bent.

The original term for a jack-o’-lantern was a will-o’-the-wisp, an old British term. The will-o’-the-wisp was a small bundle of sticks used as a flame or torch. The Celts, the Irish and those living in the Scottish Highlands all carved winter vegetables – not just pumpkins but also parsnips, carrots or beets. The time around Samhain (Halloween) was of course when the Fae and goblins were said to be roaming wild and so the lanterns were intended to be both scary (scaring off the undesirable) and to light the way in the dark.

Today, carving pumpkin jack-o’-lanterns has become an art in itself and a true icon of Halloween. Intricate designs both scary and funny can be found in almost every home that celebrates the holiday. Both electric light and candles now illuminate the inside of the lanterns.

Know that you are protected and that you are capable of creating the life that you want, and that the Universe supports you in this should Jack shine his light upon you. Boundaries are important to teach people how to treat us and drawing this card indicates that you may wish to renew the ones you have or to establish new ones.”*

~by Stacey Demarco

Who can resist the magic of the pumpkin on this day of Samhain, when the veil between the realms is at it’s thinnest. Pumpkins at your doorstep or entryway will scare away the evil spirits and protect you and your family. Yet this is a day of fun as well, of costumes and candy and running through the night.

There is nothing evil about today, nothing truly scary. It has become commercial just like everything else; but it is a day of powerful magic and a wonderful day for meditation, contemplation and connection between the Earth and the Universe. Get outside if you can, walk through the forest and admire the changing leaves, the misty air and the damp earth… or whatever environment you happen to live in! Tilt your face to the sky and present your palms to the cosmos; take in the energies of the stars and the moon. Feel the amplified connection to the higher dimensions and use this opportunity to connect to your angels and guides, the ascended masters, and all higher beings. State your intention clearly, and make it for the highest good of all involved. Breathe the magic of the day in.

Light a candle and create some sacred space in your house today with flowers and leaves. Celebrate the harvest season and send gratitude. Connect to your pets, spending some special one on one time, helping them to feel safe and secure during the chaos of trick or treating. Set some intentions towards the relationships in your life right now; is there anything that needs to change? Commit to making those changes first within yourself; allowing others to follow suit.

Blessed be this day of Samhain.

Happy Halloween.

Little Wolf Girl, from the Oracle Of The Shapeshifters Oracle Card deck, by Lucy Cavendish

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Little Wolf Girl, from the Oracle Of The Shapeshifters Oracle Card deck, by Lucy Cavendish

Little Wolf Girl ~ Message: “It is all right to be alone”

About Little Wolf Girl: “This small girl who changes in the woods, under the full moon, into a creature wild and undomesticated, remains gentle, soulful, and true to her essence. She wants you to know your solitude is your sanctuary. She wishes you to know that while these changes will be empowering, at first they make you vulnerable, fragile, and open – as she is if you gaze deeply into her eyes. You must wear a symbol of what you are becoming at this time, as she does, and take on that which you wish to change into. This will become your talisman, and it holds great magick within it. Choose this alone.”

Little Wolf Girl Speaks: “I am alone. This is is a good thing. I am not sorry for my solitude. I will defy boundaries, expectations, and the labels others wish to place on me. For this moment I stand alone. I am by myself. And that is all right. I am changing. By myself, I can change without influence. Perhaps you are changing too. You are like a tree or a snake, and you are shaking off the dusty, too tight skin of the past, of your exile from the world of nature and, most of all, of the words others have used from the world of nature and, most of all, of the words others have used to describe you. You are awakening from a prison of conditioning and thought, and freeing yourself for a future of true, authentic, powerful, blissful – and sometimes testing – times and lives. You are changing. Your new sensitivity will help many people connect more deeply to the physical world, which is continually feeding you with imagery, energy, and messages. But before you can achieve great things, you must change, even if the only change is to choose the courage to be alone.

Divination: “Your changes are becoming conspicuous to others, so, for now, be sure to keep the changes safe while you nurture them. Now is either the right time to proclaim them loudly, nor is it the time to be mysterious. It is wise to allow them simply to happen. Some will notice and give you their support. Others will notice and give their disapproval. You must learn to discern what advice is wise. Be not needful of approval and flattery, or of condemnation against which to rebel. Just keep on being your true self, and give yourself space and solitude. Allow the Little Wolf Girl to show you how – and hose who are no longer meant to be in your life will depart. Do not worry. Just keep on becoming. And be, for now, in the best company of all: your own.”*

~by Lucy Cavendish

I love the idea of wearing a talisman in the shape of your transformation… this truly resonates with me. I love the idea that it would be a talisman of protection during the transformation; creating an energetic boundary around you which would prevent anyone from throwing you off your course. I also love that it would be a constant reminder of your process, that you are a work in progress, and that it would help to guide you through.

What are you becoming? Free and wild and true? A Goddess of Divine Wisdom and power? A Shaman, a magician, a wise and powerful healer? A manifestor of light? A vortex of love? A deep well of compassion? Only you can decide.

And when you do decide, step into it with grace and ease and beauty. With truth, authenticity, strength and courage. With the intention of the highest good of all.

And so it is.
