Daily Angel Oracle Card: Shooting Star, from the Chronicles of Destiny Fortune Cards, by Josephine Ellershaw and Emily Ellershaw, artwork by Claudia McKinney

The Moral Of The Story Is: “Good omens. Good luck and good fortune. Bright prospects. Persevere in your goal. Believe in yourself.”

Shooting Star: “Feeling a sense of relief and optimism through the camaraderie of kindred spirits who have welcomed them into their makeshift camp, the Seeker makes their way through painted caravans to find their sleeping quarters. Under the silent witness of the golden moon, a shooting star bursts into life, scattering silver trails as if it falls from the sky. The Seeker catches a glimpse of its brief but radiant passage, feeling heartened that the omen bodes well for the future.”

Card Definition: “Shooting Star is a card of good omens and indicates bright prospects ahead. It encourages you to believe in yourself and to persevere with goals and dreams. Whilst The Dreamcatchers acts like a protective amulet, the Shooting Star is a card that foretells good fortune.

A shooting star is a meteoroid and, if it survives the impact with Earth’s atmosphere, the resulting stone is a meteorite, much revered by ancient civilizations for their magical properties as a heavenly gift. Our fascination with the stars goes back thousands of years, so they often feature in legends, perhaps best known through Greek mythology.

In the starlit sky, a shooting star stands out against the rest, so, in the right circumstances, it may also indicates fame. As one of the most positive cards in the deck, it represents good luck and good fortune.”*

Happy December… the last 31 days of 2017. We are starting off this month with a blessing of luck and good fortune…. but it all hinges on our ability to receive it. Do not step into this magical month with worries about stress, family, finances and the overburden of the holiday season. If this is how you normally see December, then it is up to you to create something different… and to step into the flow of it.

December is my month. I’m a Sagittarius. Forever optimistic and adventurous… although I often feel more than a little stagnant these days while deeply immersed in routine! However, to me, December has always had so much sparkle to it. The lights go up. People are happy, socializing and dressing up. There is a certain anticipation to the month. And I am determined to keep that going, even as a single mother. I could make it into something stressful and overwhelming. I could focus on the extra money spent, the expectations. But I refuse to think of my favourite month in this way. I ask for more than that. What else is possible? What can I create with this? I’m pretty organized too, I’ve been stashing stuff away for weeks now because I knew that I wanted to greet this month with arms, heart and mind wide open and welcome all it has to offer. And this is not due to any particular religious beliefs… Christmas is what it is to everyone, whether Christian or not, I do feel that December is a special month, the energies of the year culminating to make something magical to take us into the fast approaching new year.

Today we start this sparkly month with a positive omen which will be carried through the weekend. Good luck and good fortune. A little extra magic. Warmth, abundance and the promise of the full moon energies to amplify it all. I read the astrology, and I have to say, each new moon and full moon this year has held such powerful energy. Lessons deep and karmic. This one is in Gemini, the sign of polarities… the mind that could change on a whim. Or, if both aspects are brought together, Gemini balanced can be a most powerful creator. Which one do you choose? Which energy will you work with?

Mercury is still on our side for another day or two, then will go retrograde, which I have to say I find far less scary and annoying to me these days. It’s more about introspection, inner work and standing our ground through the storm and chaos around us. If we know what we want and we are willing to stick to our guns, Mercury cannot throw us off course and we can giggle at the little ups and downs it brings as it throws our technology for a loop, sets communication off course and forces us to be crystal clear in our focus.

Meet this month with anticipation of something new. An opportunity to move forward into the new year victorious. Know that the opportunity before you is the right one, be bold and make your move. Good fortune awaits you.

Daily Angel Oracle Card: The Fellowship, from the Chronicles Of Destiny Fortune Card deck, by Josephine Ellershaw and Emily Ellershaw, artwork by Claudia McKinney

The Moral of the Story is: “Friendship and loyalty, reliable and steadfast. Helpful friends and allies lending support. Teamwork.”

The Fellowship: “A rustling in the bushes alerts the Seeker that they are no longer alone and they find they are surrounded as others materialize from the undergrowth. An archer keeps vigilant watch on the periphery of the group, poised ready to spring into action. The Seeker is startled by their presence, but they approach with a gesture of friendship.

A man moves forward from the group and approaches with a sword, ‘I believe this belongs to you; we found it washed up  on the beach, but by  the time we arrived, you had already gone.’

The Seeker thanks him as they accept their sword, once again feeling its power thrum through their fingers, ‘But who are  you?’

The others move closer in to join the conversation. ‘We are seekers here the same as you; we have separate quests, but share a similar purpose and common enemy. Alone we may fail, but together we could find victory through the support of our fellowship.’

Card Definition: “The Fellowship card represents friends and people you can rely upon who are loyal and steadfast; the placement in the spread will indicate the part they will play. This is also a card of teamwork, pooling your diverse strengths and talents to achieve a common goal. It may represent one particular friend or a group of like-minded individuals.

This is normally a card of allies, unless surrounding cards suggest otherwise.”*

When we have done the work on the inside, we will see the results in our external reality. We are working closely with our Team, our angels and guides have been assisting us, giving us signs and messages, guiding us through our obstacles and blockages, and helping us to release illusions and old belief systems. Yup, they really have their work cut out for them! As we redefine who we really are from the inside out, we open our hearts and minds to allow for new people to enter our lives.

Someone new is coming to you now and they will help you to open a new door to possibility. It may be a mentor or friend. It may be a lover or romantic partner. It could even be a new job offer, new co-worker or a new landlord, roomie or tenant. Each situation will be different depending on where you, personally, are at. What you have been wishing and wanting to come to you, will in fact come to you. But you need a little assistance. This new person or people are key. Do not turn down any invitations at this time, you never know who you might meet. Chance encounters are much easier to facilitate if you actually leave  your house!

Do not worry if this does not happen today, although it is absolutely a possibility. Just know that in the near future, you will find your tribe, your group of people who are just like you. One person in particular will stand out. Like the guardian of the gate, they have a lesson for you, and will lead you onward into a new chapter. Trust your intuition and follow your heart.

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Time Flies, from the Chronicles of Destiny Fortune Card deck, by Josephine Ellershaw and Emily Ellershaw, artwork by Claudia McKinney

The Moral Of The Story Is: “Time flies. Fast moving time frame, things happening quickly”

Time Flies:

“You’re late, you know.”
The Seeker turn to the sound of the woman’s voice, “I’m sorry?”
“Well it’s ticking you see… the clock.” She points behind her. “Can you hear that?”
“I don’t hear anything,” the Seeker whispers.
“Exactly! That’s the sound of time disappearing. The clock never stops ticking, always ticking…”
She trails off dreamily, her gaze caught in the hypnotic sway of the pendulum, as the clock works toward the quarterly chime.
The woman stares at the Seeker as though coming from a trance. “But now you hear it, don’t you?” she asks urgently. “The haunting rhythm of time marking passages of life disappearing.”
The Seeker nods warily, uncertain of her changing moods.
“I waited too long, but how quickly time flies and now here I am, Keeper of the Clock.” She sighs before suddenly brightening, “But it’s not too late for you! Make haste for the harbor before the ship sails.”

Card Definition: “With her cloak of feathers the Keeper of the Clock reminds us that time flies, so this card can be helpful as a timing indicator. When Time Flies appears in a reading, it shows a fast-moving time frame, with events usually occurring within hours or days, or certainly within a few weeks at the most. However, this would also depend upon where it lands in a spread you are using. Should this card follow others, or appear as the outcome and final card, it can also show that once events do occur, they will happen at speed.”*

There is an opportunity on offer now, or coming to you very imminently. Take it, there is no time to spare. Do not let fear hold you back, as you will have to step out of your comfort zone on this one. Do it, without hesitation. Follow your instincts and snap this up… this is not one of those things you will have a ton of time to research. The key is, you will already know the answer, you will be able to make the decision by following your intuition because this is something you have already contemplated. You have already done your thinking, your pondering, your questioning. The Universe is offering something you have wanted for a very long time. It is something you have dreamed about. Prayed for. Asked for. And… now you have manifested it there might be some fear, like it feels almost too good to be true. But when the time comes to dive right in, you will know exactly what you must do. Because you will know in every cell of your body that this is the right choice for you. Trust is key.

This is when you ignore ego and follow the heart. Ego will try to scare you off, giving you examples of past hurts when things didn’t turn out the way you wanted them to. Heart will tell you that this time is different from all the rest, go for it and give it your all. There is no holding back here, in order to take this chance, you must commit heart and soul.

Time is flying.

Take the leap of faith.

Accepting The Quest

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Accepting The Quest, from the Chronicles of Destiny Oracle Card deck, by Josephine Ellershaw and Emily Ellershaw, Artwork by Claudia McKinney

Accepting The Quest ~ The Moral of the Story Is: Contracts, agreements, transastions. Making a formal commitment. Pledging our oath. Taking up the challenge.”

“The Seeker regards the journey ahead with renewed purpose and grasps the hilt of the sword with both hands. At their touch, an inscription begins to materialize along the blade and they raise it to their eyes, reciting the words as they appear.

“Committed by oath and forged by steel, I bind you to your quest.”

The weight of the words settles in the Seeker’s mind as the sword fits comfortably in their hands, perfectly balanced in their grip.”

Accepting The Quest Card Definition: “Before knights of old took up their swords they were required to make an solemn oath of honor to their leader and their cause, a practice followed across different cultures.

When this card appears in a reading, it represents agreements, binding contracts, or transactions being made. Whilst The Call symbolizes an offer of some description, Accepting The Quest is the agreement and formal commitment to it.

In certain circumstances, it may suggest rising to a challenge that has been laid before you, literally taking up the sword. However, primarily this is the card to indicate important contractual agreements. Depending upon the question and accompanying cards, the following provides some suggestions as to how this could translate: Guardian of the Books would be a job or vocation, with Castle a property contract, and with Treasure a financial contract.”*

~ by Josephine Ellershaw and Emily Ellershaw

There is a certain level of commitment asked of you now on your sacred journey, do you accept this Spiritual Quest? This is a quest for truth, for deep wisdom, for transformation and for surrender. It is the undertaking of something far more profound than you have experienced before. There may be challenges along the way, and this is not for the faint of heart, yet it is absolutely necessary in order to get to where you need to be in your life, and deep down you know that.

You are the warrior and you have everything you need in order to start this journey. Do not fear the unknown, embrace it. Be prepared to step out of your comfort zone only to find that you are capable of far more than you have given yourself credit for. This is your Soul’s calling, this is your life path. Undertake the challenge with complete conviction in your strength of Being. You are about to surprise yourself… over and over again.

Many blessings, Dear One, we are here to support you and love you unconditionally every step of the way on your journey back to yourself.
