The Rarr

The Rarr, from the Faery Oracle, by Brian Froud and Jessica MacBeth

Daily Angel Oracle Card: The Rarr, from the Faery Oracle, by Brian Froud and Jessica MacBeth

The Rarr: “Wild energy. Pure Potential”

“Once upon a time there were three pink boys (more or less) and a Rarr, who all played in Brian’s son Toby’s bedroom. They liked the midnight tea parties, the magical ambience, and of course, they liked Toby. Unfortunately, the Pink Boys got too rowdy, and Brian had to throw them out into the garden, which was where they belonged anyway. The Rarr learned from the experience in a rarrish way, and it quieted down a bit during the midnight hours.

Rarrs are not naughty or wicked, just energetic. They are also not very discriminating. They like to join into whatever excitement is going on and add energy to it. In a way, they are pure potential, and they potentize whatever is happening. Rarrs are attracted to mobs rioting and to meditation groups rising toward ecstasy and to any other strong energy states.

Rarrs are a bit like Tigger in the Pooh stories. They bounce, they zoom, they go off on wild tangents. (Brian hasn’t painted a Wild Tangent yet, as far as I know, but I know what they look like, having encountered more then my share).

Think of the rrarrr of a growling dog, the rrarrr of an engine revving up, the rrr of a purring cat, and the arrr in Arrrugh! As I say, Rarrs do not discriminate. It is up to us to do that. They put a live spark into whatever is happening. It is our choice what we do with it.”

Starter Reading: “A Rarr in your cards encourages you to be especially attentive to what you are dong with your energy and intentions. Do not get carried away by the Rarr’s bouncy enthusiasm, but do take advantage of the energy. You can accomplish a great deal with the energy being made available to you. This is a good time. Note that the Rarr is not grounded – and is not meant to be – but humans need to keep their feet firmly on the earth. When you encounter the Rarr, breathe slowly. Center. Earth yourself. Be clear about your objectives then go for them.”

As Challenger: “The Rarr as challenger indicates a terrible problem. Both the querent and the Rarr are losing (or have lost) control and are thrashing about in midair. Faery glamour and faery zaps are running wild. Illusions and delusions are rife. Misunderstandings escalate. A cold shower is definitely in order. Practice grounding exercises. Meditate. Back off and look at things coolly. This may not be enough, but please try.”*

~ By Jessica MacBeth

This card totally resonates with me. I think these little guys sneak into my house when my kids are starting to amp up at night and make them totally WILD! In fact, as I write this I can’t really believe just how much energy they have, and how hard it can be to get them to settle down. It is enough to make me stark raving mad. I’m pretty sure that if I found out that the Faeries got involved, things would make so much more sense. The missing piece of the puzzle.

Then maybe I could thank them for their efforts and return them to the garden! Way too exhausting to deal with that kind of energy inside, particularly in the evening.

But, that’s just me. I think there is more to this message. There is a bit of a warning here too. Not to get all caught up in the drama. Not to be impulsive. To use your energy wisely. There is great potential here for manifestation, so be careful what you wish for! Don’t be reckless, impatient and greedy, or you will be caught up in the vortex of disillusion. Wait it out. Plan it wisely. Wish for what is best for All.

Know that the energy of the Fae is a powerful force, and they can make amazing allies. But they also can be tricky, amplifying things into a frenzy. If you are already scattered and unclear, you could manifest a tough lesson instead of making a powerful choice. They will work with you either way.

Slow down and breathe deeply. Make a plan of action. Dot your i’s and cross your t’s and do your research. And then muster all your energy and enthusiasm and channel it into exactly what you wish to create. With grace and ease.

Spirit ~ Danburite

Published December 7, 2017 by Dee ~ Archangel Oracle

Spirit ~ Danburite, from the Crystal Ally Cards deck, by Naisha Ahsian

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Spirit ~ Danburite, from the Crystal Ally Cards deck, by Naisha Ahsian

Spirit ~ Danburite: “Danburite is a calcium borosilicate that grows in crystal form. When cut this Ally becomes a clear, brilliant gem. The crystals can appear pink, clear, or golden, depending upon the location in which it is mined. This Ally is the stone of the angels. Its beautiful, high, soft energy encourages us to resonate with celestial beings and their purposes.

Danburite is a stone of joy and celebration. Its frequency creates a resonance which allows our energetic field to become more receptive to angelic and spiritual influences. It is also associated with the higher dimensions of love, fellowship and Light. Danburite’s key word is Spirit, and its frequencies help to connect us more fully with that aspect of ourselves.

Danburite activates the sixth through the etheric chakras, allowing one to see with the vision of the higher realms.

Danburites strong suit is its ability to reveal to us that which has an energy that is normally too high for us to perceive. Faeries, angels and Light beings of all kinds are made visible with the aid of Danburite’s influence. It allows one to ‘pierce the veil’ that separates us from the Divine in one another.

Danburite is an Ally that represents the realm of the Spirit in physical form. The physical realm that we inhabit is merely a shadow of the greater unseen reality that exists alongside us. Often, the unseen forces that guides us are the most powerful allies in our lives.

Danburite’s frequency allows us to perceive the unseen world more fully, and integrate it into our conscious experience through our Light body or aura. The high love energy of Danburite reflects the love of the Universe, initiating within us a resonance and remembrance of the source.”

The Message: “Danburite’s sweet energy is calling you to open your eyes to the magic and wonder around you. Faeries are playing in the grass, Light beings are floating through the forest, and the world is full of unseen guides and teachers that are waiting for you to perceive them. If you reach out with your heart and mind to those on the other side, they will respond by offering guidance, love and fun! Seek the unseen, and develop your faith that it is there, hiding, just beyond the veil.

Danburite is asking you to accept the unseen aspects of yourself as well. Close your eyes and explore the extent of your energy. Try picturing everything in your world as your creation, an extension of your thoughts and intent. Acknowledge that the unseen thoughts you think, the emotions you feel, and the desires you have, all affect the world around you. Call upon the energy of Danburite and the power of your spirit will be made clear to you.”

Chakra: “Third eye, Crown, Etheric”

Affirmation: “I am an infinite part of an infinite Universe.”*

~ By Naisha Ahsian

As you undergo the transformation process, you are opened up in every way. Your connection to spirit is stronger and clearer than ever before. You can receive messages, see the signs and signals. You must commit to listening closely to your intuition, and to seeing the magic around you, particularly in the natural world.

Synchronicity is a powerful force in your life right now. Go with what feels light and right. Go with your heart, listen to your body as you make decisions. Dream time is very powerful now too. Place a Danburite crystal (one of my all time favourite and super high vibe crystals) under your pillow to amplify your connection to the other realms. Wear it, carry it around. It is a powerful ally on your spiritual journey.

Take some time to be silent. Get outside, even if the weather is not optimal. Breathe the fresh air. Open your mind and your heart to experiencing something deeper out there. Connect with the energies of the elemental realm. Appreciate the cycles of the Great Mother and where she is at right now in your corner of the world. See the mystery and beauty that she shares with us every moment of every day. Make and offering… plant a crystal or stone in honour of her awe and beauty.

See yourself reaching through this third dimension of reality into something more spectacular to the senses, reigniting your imagination and creativity. Feel your Crown Chakra opening to the Universe, without the filters of fear and past pain to hold it shut.

Step willingly into the magic of this new dimension of your reality, where anything is possible.

It’s called “the Universal Flow.”

The Star

The Star, from The Green Witch Tarot, by Ann Moura, art by Kiri Ostergaard Leonard

Daily Angel Oracle Card: The Star, from The Green Witch Tarot, by Ann Moura, art by Kiri Ostergaard Leonard

The Star: “The card of the lucky Star shows there is energy abounding for a fortuitous opportunity to arrive through which one’s hopes and dreams can be manifested. The seven-pointed Faery Star represents the harmony of Land, Water, Sky, Moon, Sun, Stars and Magic. Beneath the Star, the Goddess is revealed in her aspect of Faery Queen, pouring out the waters of life to invigorate and encourage positive changes. She opens the way and offers the chance for a joyful transformation in one’s life, yet leaves it up to the individual to take advantage of this. The card indicates that the prospects are excellent for making a change in one’s life, moving in the direction one has desired but has not yet attained.

Whether one chooses to take advantage of the opportunity can be influenced by the other cards in the reading that may offer helpful clarification. The waters spilled from silver urns into the river and into a gazing bowl for divination suggest that one can gauge the future impact of taking up the opportunity. The Queen stands in the river, indicating that some solutions to problems reside in the subconscious mind. The Star implies that planetary or universal energies are in a favorable alignment at the time of the reading, and the addition of faerie influence provides an aspect of wishes granted through the blessings of devas and other world entities.

There is optimism and hope in this card, which is always an omen of good fortune and bringing desires into reality. The universe will provide the opening to push matters in a favorable direction for accomplishing what is most sought. The energy is gathered in one’s favor. and is ready to be utilized to carry out a goal.

Action should not be delayed any longer than necessary when the opportunity presents itself, for there is no indication of when this will happen again. Trust in the universe, the Divine, and one’s own intuition is suggested. Saint John’s wort, for faeries, magic, luck and power, grows along the riverbank. A goldfish, a symbol of opportunity and balance, leaps joyfully out of the invigorating waters.”

Card Meaning: “An opportunity to manifest hopes and dreams, inspiration, creativity, talent recognized, positive energy, unexpected help, new ideas, gain a wish, positive future, bright prospects, chance to start over.”

As Challenger: “Disappointment, doubts, distrust, insecurity, letting opportunities pass.”

Prompt Words: “Opportunity, hopes obtainable.”*

~ by Ann Moura

The only barrier to your success is anything you believe can stop you from moving forward. Other than that, the coast is clear. Anything is possible.

The Star is a card of a special magic the superstitious call ‘luck’. But really there is no such thing as luck is there? It is about claiming your power and using it for the Highest Good of All, to create something sacred and miraculous. It is about becoming the powerful manifestor you have always been. It is about moving out of the limits of the three dimensional consciousness and into the fourth and beyond, where there is absolutely no doubt that anything is truly possible.

The Star is full of Light. The Star leads our way. The Star is a coming together; the collective, the One that is All. It is faith and it is gratitude and it is Love. It is dreams fulfilled and it is opportunities grasped. It is connected to our crown chakras; our channel of divine communication with our Higher Selves.

Take this as yet another sign that things are changing. Doors are opening. Do not fear necessary change, for with it comes the blessings.

The Sage

The Sage, from The Faeries’ Oracle, by Brian Froud and Jessica MacBeth

Daily Angel Oracle Card: The Sage, from The Faeries’ Oracle, by Brian Froud and Jessica MacBeth

The Sage: “Wisdom ~ Hidden Knowledge ~ Retreat ~ Old Age ~ Patience”

“The Sage is also the shaman. Not all wise men are shamans and not all shamans are wise men, but this one is both – power informed by wisdom and wisdom made manifest by power. This is also the face of Father Time and we see the colours of the seasons surrounding him. Sometimes, he is Old Man of the Mountain, the hermit who searches within for wisdom and understanding, and then is willing to share it with any true seeker who comes to him.

His “blind” eye enables him to look into other worlds, other realms, and the wisdom buried deeply within each of us, where the Singers dwell. He has reached a stage of life where he has let go of many of the activities of younger beings, retreated somewhat from the outer world of Faery, and inner vision, contemplation, and spirit. On the exterior, he lives simply, almost austerely, but his inner world is filled to overflowing with richness.

In order to pursue his studies more thoroughly, the Sage has cultivated detachment. Some may see this as remoteness or coldness, but he is no less loving for that. The Sage finds the inner connections between everything. He sees the connections, relationships, and consequences between seemingly separate ideas, beings and things.

Love and compassion are the inevitable consequences of seeing truly, and this leads the Sage to share his learning with others. Like any other wise elder, he leads by gently teaching from his vast store of wisdom. When asked for his judgment about something, he is discriminating and generous-hearted. He turns a blind eye to punishment, feeling that what is needed is mercy and a way of teaching those who err so thy will not make the same mistakes again.

The Sage is constantly learning. While on the one hand he values tradition and stability, he also understands and values the need for growth and change. He can’t go for a walk or a flight around the neighborhood without discovering something new and trying to see how it fits into the Whole. He is always expanding his understanding of reality and deepening his awareness.

As we develop patience and compassion intertwined, we begin to manifest the wisdom of the Sage.”

“Here we see wisdom and deep inner understanding. One of the keys of wisdom is to organize, integrate, and simplify one’s thoughts. Complexity often leads to confusion, simplicity is to be valued. This card signifies mental discipline informed by balanced learning and compassion. Tradition is valued but appropriate change is accepted. The Sage knows when to let go and when to move on. He knows when to retreat and think things over. He compassionately and wisely shares his knowledge with others, teaching by example as well as by precept. The scales of justice are balanced in the Sage’s hands. This card in a reading also signifies the need for deep consideration and refined judgment applied with compassion and mercy.”*

~by Brian Froud and Jessica MacBeth

Today is a day to observe, rather than a day to press forward. The truth you have been seeking lies before you; yet you are not seeing it as you search frantically for it. Peace and calm are called for; come from a place of balance and inner harmony. Focus inward and listen closely to your intuition, as it has all the answers you need. If you are getting an answer that is not pleasing to you; and then seeking confirmation over confirmation to try to control the outcome… let go and surrender. You simply may not be able to control this particular situation.

Ask the Sage for help, but be sure to leave an offering to show your respect. Then, once you have your answer, accept it with grace and move forward, releasing confusion and distraction as you do so. The Sage will grant you clarity; before you ask, take a few deep breaths and center…. then be absolutely sure you are ready to receive the answer you seek.

The Secret Path

The Secret Path, From the Wild Wisdom Of The Faery Oracle Card deck, by Lucy Cavendish

The Secret Path, From the Wild Wisdom Of The Faery Oracle Card deck, by Lucy Cavendish

Daily Angel Oracle Card, The Secret Path, From the Wild Wisdom Of The Faery Oracle Card deck, by Lucy Cavendish

The Secret Path: “An irresistible pull down a distinct path, Ley lines, Mystical traditions.”

“Faeries love country paths and wooded ways that twist and bend and take shape, but that are mysterious and very bright and dark, spooky and sweet all at the same time. Likewise, your own path must have both light and shade, and it is never straight! Faeries walk their paths to revive the land, and they take rests at special trees and wells, as you do, in your own way, create magic when you are true to your path.

When this card makes her magical appearance, you know you are being drawn down a path that has the potential to lead you to a rich source of wisdom – one danced and sang and dreamt down by these faeries you now see. These faeries would have been spoken of in the old ways as “trooping” but here we would say they are following their path: swiftly, joyfully, singing and dancing their way to a destination that will be full of riches and joy, profound learnings and deep initiations.

These faerie beings are winding and dancing their way back to a sacred place: a resting zone for faeries to return to when the world outside as let them there. They will go within for a time and feast in the halls of faerie; learn songs, dance with new steps, and then continue on their journey through the land. Though many faeries guard a physical place, there are others who dance the lines of power through out the lands, and under the sea, beneath the hills and through the rivers, as the mermaids, whales, sirens, naiads and nymphs do. These faeries are dancing the lines of power that lead many of us to the sacred sites, and as long as these faeries continue this dance, we too will know where to place out feet, one in front of the other, in order to be on our path. Because our path can be something we reach by taking a pilgrimage. When this card dances towards you, you are being beckoned again to rejoin your path, and perhaps your first steps will be to wander a little, to travel, and see where the lines of magic within the earth herself take you. Paint our body with a little of the earth, and let the earth on you sing to the earth beneath your feet, and soon the song will be alive in your blood again. You are also reminded y the faeries that you can walk your path, be dragged along your path, meander from your path, slow down on your path or dance and be joyful on your path. How you walk it is empowered by your unique self’s intent, and as you already know, intent is the heart of many a matter. You may find it is a winding path you walk, or a labyrinthine one, one which seems a maze, but here in truth there is always only one way to go, only one place your foot can fall in front of the other. Take steps again to be on your path. Reconnect with the song of the land that sings in your blood, and you too, like these beautiful beings, will be called home.

Divinitory Meanings: Ley lines, walking meditations, building or walking a labyrinth, and journeys to sacred sites are all important to you now. You may wish to travel to lands where the olde ways are respected, to explore faery mounds, hills such as the Tor in Glastonbury, Newgrange, or Tara in Ireland. You will soon be welcoming friendships made by being true to who you are and being willing to enter into the mystery of the song of life. Joyful dance of connection. Loving, happy friendships with purpose. Traveling companions who inspire bliss on the journey. This card heralds a blissful stage of your life journey.”*

– Lucy Cavendish

Your Soul purpose is calling to you. The faeries want you to know that it is time to get back on track, following your heart down your life’s true authentic path; trusting in the Universe that you will be supported and Divinely guided. There is no more need to hide from what you desire, for what makes you most joyful is in fact what you should be doing. No more fear, no more judgement, and no more lack of acceptance. This is your calling, get ready to FLY!

Joyously undertake this journey and become one with the flow of All That Is. Fight it and see the obstacles jump up; seemingly out of nowhere. You are not a victim, you are the creator of your dreams. If you find yourself being redirected, know that the Faeries are helping guide you, and that they will continue to nudge, push or shove you in the right direction. Whatever it takes to get you where you need to be!

So take it easy on yourself and decide right now that you will walk your path with grace and ease.

The Unicorn and The Maiden

Published July 5, 2014 by Dee ~ Archangel Oracle
The Unicorn and The Maiden

The Unicorn and The Maiden, from the Wild Wisdom of the Faery Oracle Card Deck, by Lucy Cavendish

Daily Angel Oracle Card: The Unicorn and The Maiden, from the Wild Wisdom of the Faery Oracle Card Deck, by Lucy Cavendish

The Unicorn and The Maiden: “Communication with unicorn; Purification; Undercover action.”

“In this beautiful card, the sacred Unicorn and the magical faery-maiden are preparing for a mission. The maiden lives in the “world”, the real world as we say, that we inhabit day to day. There she does under cover work on behalf of all that is magical, true and soulful. Her ally, the Unicorn, is to go to the etheric places, and share her work with the creatures too long in hiding, and ask them to come forward and let themselves be known again. Together they are discussing what must be done next. The Unicorn knows this information will be safe with the maiden, and the maiden knows too that she is safe with this magical creature – but they also know that there are those who would hunt down the Unicorn for its marvelous knowledge, its magics, its alicorn with its healing properties, and the mystic ruby that lies beneath its brow, giving those who possess it the power to see into the hearts of those around them and know their true intent.

But together, they know they can do their work. They meet in the in-between places, out of sight – in your dreams, visions, meditations and pathworkings. But it is her job to take the information back, and to translate it into material form. It is in this way that purifying and detoxifying vast areas can take place. They both work for peace, and they both are able to see right into the hearts of those around them.

Among their many skills, unicorns have the ability to create peace, even when confronted by great aggression. (One stayed famed warlord Genghis Khan’s hand, turning him back from battle and choosing peaceful settlement of differences.)

Unicorns also bring about the power of the written word. They communicate the tale that needs to be told. This holds true for artists too, as the original language the Unicorn developed was pictorial, so they are behind many film projects, novels, television series and visual arts and collage, most especially. If this card has appeared to you, and you are embarking on a creative project, simply ask for the help and guidance of the Unicorn, who will fill you with inspiration and help you through any block you may be having regarding writing.

The unicorn’s horn emanates from the center of his brow, the region in which his (and our) third eye chakra are located. The third eye contains our capacity for intuition, for psychic abilities, for clairvoyance and for communion and communication between worlds. When this card shows up for you, the messages you are receiving are very likely to be reaching you through that point. We can use our intent, our energetic power, emanating from that point too, to pray over our water, to seek out peaceful solutions, and to keep precious, rare and sacred beings safe from harsh and toxic environments.

If the Unicorn and the Maiden appear to your in a reading, you are being reconnected with your magical self, with your own maiden, your own pure, wild qualities. Gentle and free, fierce and beloved – as is the magical creature, the beloved Unicorn.”*

– Lucy Cavendish

This is a magical card from one of my favourite decks. It is a message that you have raised your consciousness to new levels; your vibration is higher than it has ever been in this physical plane and you are now able to connect and communicate with beings of higher dimensions. This is a card of Universal wisdom; of trusting your intuition and knowing that seeds you have carefully planted are growing vigorously into dreams right before your very eyes. Be receptive to your Divine Guidance; you are on the right path and will receive special signs and messages at this time.

Quiet your mind from racing with thoughts and calmly focus on your desires. Focus on why; the highest good of all involved; forget the how and leave it to the Universe to provide. Spend some solitary time in nature; under the stars, in the light of the moon. Keep your thoughts positive and your frequency high. This is the time for miracles and everything is on your side. The Unicorns are reaching out to you.

Little Boy Blue

Little Boy Blue

Little Boy Blue, from the Wild Wisdom of the Faery Oracle Card Deck, by Lucy Cavendish

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Little Boy Blue, from the Wild Wisdom of the Faery Oracle Card Deck, by Lucy Cavendish

Little Boy Blue: “Dreams come true! Return of the soul!”

“Hope and promise are reborn in your life, as this beautiful baby faery brings you innocence, trust, hope and the proof that there are beautiful new things in the is world that have not been conditioned into un-believing. This is a new incarnation, either of a new soul being brought in around you or your chance to be reborn without passing – your chance to become as a child again and be born anew without the physical return to Source this time. This new baby brings union. People of all kinds of different worlds can be drawn together peacefully, and can feel happy and safe with each other. This child represents the new world into which we are all to be born and in which our intuitive possibilities will be enormously strong. This will be a time of fast growth and incredible development. Do not see the baby as “blank”, for babies grow and transform each day, renewing cells and energy, and are not closed at all to the wonders of the magic around them! They have no “words” as yet and so express themselves with perfect truth and honesty. They change and yet are utterly true to who they are. And of course, they are so strong and powerful! It is time for you to be as a babe in the world, to truly hear and see and know for the first time. To approach with an innocent heart. To know that being human is to be all, and is a great gift. And you, as are we all, are responsible for the children of the world, and responsible for helping them have a future on this planet. It is an awesome and sacred task.

Divinatory Meanings: “Lighten up and feel joy, for your hopes are going to be given form, feeling and spirit! New projects are coming into the world. The discovery of a gift. Babies, children, innocence and laughter. Letting go of old concepts and ideas that no longer serve; approaching life with the open heart of the child. This card represents someone who is at home with their sensitivity and their psychic abilities, and who is able to help the world simply through being themselves, who they are at their core and using their beautiful, innate, intuitive talents.”

When you look at something beautiful, do you really see it? Do you take time to really admire the perfection of a flower, the divine grace of a butterfly, the freedom of a bird? When was the last time you stopped and took a deep breath of fresh air and felt it surge through your body, oxygenating every cell? When was the last time you strolled instead of dashed; gazed instead of looked straight through…. listened intently instead of just heard?”*

– Lucy Cavendish

In order to connect with your inner child, to re-ignite the fire of awe and wonder in your soul, you must slow down and use all of your senses. Immerse yourself in Mother Nature’s perfection. Yes, I am telling you to stop and smell the roses! Count stars. Smell the salty sea. Collect pretty rocks. Dip your toes in the river, feeling the chilly water on your skin. See the beauty all around you and send gratitude for every minute detail. Breathe love in and out.

You are surrounded by love. You are supported by the Universe. Your dreams are coming true at last! Miracles around every corner; make space for them in your life through simple acts of gratitude.
