Six of Pentacles, from the Tarot of the Hidden Realm, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Six of Pentacles, from the Tarot of the Hidden Realm, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Six of Pentacles: “This is their favorite time of year, and what better way to spend this gift of a day than with their favorite tree? The playful breeze of warm air with a whisper of coolness lifts a curl that came loose from its ribbon. sunlight dances among glossy green leaves and shiny red fruit. The scent of sweet ripeness perfumes the air. She picks a perfectly ripe apple. Even just holding it in her hand, she can practically taste the crisp juiciness hiding just under that russet skin.

No, not yet, her soul sister reminds her. It is their tradition to gather the first basket of apples together. They spread a cloth on the ground and remember all the blessings of the past year. When they finish, they share the cores with whatever woodland creatures have decided to join them. Then they make their plans! Besides simply eating many of the apples, what else will they do? Cakes and pies and butters flavored with spices will become gifts for kin; this is their favorite way of sharing their love.”

Divintory Meaning Of The Six of Pentacles: “Although it seems counterintuitive, one way to increase abundance is to share what you have. The energy of earth, when mixed with the caring and generous energy of water, always seems to expand. Whether this actually creates more or just makes what you have better is unclear, but either way, it is a good thing. The Six of Pentacles lets you know that there really is plenty to go around. If you have some to spare, share it. If you need a little extra, someone nearby is sure to oblige. Any needs or perceived needs are just temporary, for your situation is a harmonious blend of need an d abundance. Whether giving or receiving, everyone involved gets to feel good.”*

~ By Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Here we are encouraged to share what we have in order to create more for all. We were asked to use all of our resources yesterday, all of our magic, all of our prayers to help others and the Earth herself. This is more of the same, but on a more individual and personal level. What do you have enough of to share?

One of our most valuable resources is our time… and of course equally would be our undivided attention. Who could benefit from more time with you, one on one? Who would be uplifted by your presence or healed by your support? Sometimes we only need to lend an ear. Sometimes we can pray for someone who needs it. Sometimes someone just needs to be seen, acknowledged, respected and accepted; we can do that for someone in need.

If you have more to give than this, even better! Volunteer; purchase items and donate them to a shelter, school, or person in need. Teach someone something that they can take with them, something that will improve their quality of life over time.

Give what you can and give with no agenda or expectation. Know that just by giving you will get back. Maybe not this moment, but it will all catch up with you. When you need it most.

Nine Of Swords

Nine Of Swords, from the Tarot of the Hidden Realm, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Nine Of Swords, from the Tarot of the Hidden Realm, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

“She has been running and fighting for so long that she has forgotten what it is like to be still. Even though it is over, she cannot relax. She crouches, ready to spring into action if necessary. How long has she been here? She wonders. Long enough that her body is no longer racked with heaving gasps, her lungs struggling to take in more air. Her muscles, while still tense, are no longer quivering.

As her heart and mind slow, she feels the night air warm on her skin, still damp from sweat. The night is passing; soon it will be dawn. Now that exhaustion is starting to fall from her, she faces a decision: what to do next. It seems so simple, so why does it feel like another battle? What is she afraid of? After all she has seen, all she has lived through, deciding what to do now that it is over should be easy.

An owl lands nearby, apparently unafraid, feathers dropping from his silent wings. She watches him without moving even as downy soft whispers brush her skin, falling like the tears she cannot yet release. He stays with her until all that she has seen, all that she has lived through, is relieve through the eyes of compassion and wisdom.”

Divinatory Meaning of the Nine Of Swords Card: “It has been a tough time. You have faced some challenges and made some difficult decisions. The good news is that the Nine Of Swords indicates that this phase is at an end, or very nearly so. Your current task is to wrap things up. Some people make the mistake of reliving such times over and over, watching the tapes with regret, bitterness, or anger. In order to move forward, you need to relive the situation one last time through the eyes of compassion… for yourself and for everyone else involved. Learn the lessons embedded in the experience. Recognize the wisdom gained. Then you can truly move forward.”*

~ By Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

This card made my heart ache as I read its message. It resonates so deeply. I understand the feeling so well; that of struggling for so long that once you realize that the struggle is over, you are like a deer in the headlights, unable to decide which way to go. Longing for freedom and then once getting it, not knowing what to do with it all. Trading one set of issues for another. Focusing so much energy on a person or problem, that once they walk away you forget who you were without that stress.

It takes time. It takes healing. It takes compassion. To move forward into the new. At first you think it will be so easy, that you will grasp every opportunity, that you will be joyful and appreciate your freedom. But yet there you are, stuck, frozen, unsure of what to do next.

All you can do is breathe. Trust. Do a whole lot of yoga! And know that this too, shall pass. And that you will get stronger. And you will start walking through those open doors. And that everything is as it should be.

Don’t be so hard on yourself, you got this far. There was a time when where you are now may not have even seemed possible. But it is. You are here. And it is going to get so much better.

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Ace Of Pentacles, from the Tarot Of The Hidden Realm, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Ace Of Pentacles: “Dry leaves rustle, rattling like old bones, a soft sound that warms the chill night air. A pointy nose and alert eyes emerge from the ground cover, sniffing, searching. Ever close to the ground, Hedgehog is also close to mama Gaia and is sensitive to small changes in her environment as well as broader ones. She knows what to expect, as well as what signals warn of the unexpected. The leaves crunching beneath her tiny paws, she knows, will eventually become soil, ready to nourish new seeds. This is the cycle of life, writ large in the transformation of acorn to oak to soil, and writ small in the journey from egg to cocoon to butterfly.

The inhabitants of the Hidden Realm admire Hedgehog for her ability to take care of herself. For them, because she makes the most of all the gifts given to her, she symbolizes protection, grace under attack, intelligence, and resourcefulness. Hidden Realm folk are amused by such a small, comical creature having such powerful abilities.”

Divinatory Meaning Of This Card: “This card holds a very special gift. there is a human saying about not despising small beginnings. Hedgehog, the Ace of Pentacles, shows up to remind you of that very saying. In fact, not only should you not despise this small beginning, but you should also treasure it, for you do not even realize the possibilities that have just been presented to you. Right now, in this moment, listen carefully and hear the rustle of leaves. Watch for the emerging bundle of goodness. Recognize its value no matter how silly or sweet or awkward. Within that small seed is the potential to achieve amazing things. What you do with it is up to you.”*

by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Yesterday we were asked to renew our faith, in ourselves, in the Divine and in our Life’s journey. Today were are receiving the message that a gift is on it’s way to us. Be aware that this gift may come in a tiny package. It may not be what we expected. We may even believe that it is of no use to us, or that we should hold our for something bigger and better. Yet this gift is a doorway, should we choose to open it.

We have all heard the saying “good things come in small packages.” This is one of those instances, and the small package may in fact be just a small shift in your perception. It may also be a small step forward in the right direction by you towards what you wish to create. But however this gift comes to you, do not ignore or bypass it. Accept it with an open mind, and and open heart. Send gratitude and fill your heart with love as you accept it. Doing so will activate and amplify the magnetic effect of the Law Of Attraction, bringing you more amazing people, opportunities and abundance into your life.

Knight Of Cups

Knight Of Cups, from the Tarot Of The Hidden Realms, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Knight Of Cups, from the Tarot Of The Hidden Realms, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Knight Of Cups: “He sits in silence with his uncertainty, his senses deadened. The physical world has almost ceased to exist for him as he explores the strange, abstract worlds within his heart. He is not a man of physical violence, nor a defender of ideals of the mind. Rather, he is a warrior of the heart and soul. His weapons are lyrical words, heavenly melodies, deep affection and unceasing love. His enemy… that is difficult to identify. Can he be a warrior without an enemy?

Losing himself in the still liquid in a simple silver chalice, he sees at first nothing, but he has patience to spare and no desire to act until he is certain. Slowly, images and feelings swirl in the cup and fill his heart. He learns that true warriors do not fight against anything but rather for things. They defend and uphold, protect and honor. All that is life, all that is felt in the heart, all that touches the human soul, whether joyous or tragic, whether beautiful or horrific, whether sweet or poignant… this is his realm, this is what he – his heart, soul, body, and mind – is dedicated to. The seed takes root and blossoms in a instant, filling him with certainty. He awakens to the world and begins his quest.”

Divinatory Meaning Of This Card: “The Knight Of Cups values the experiences of the heart and soul more than anything else. Consequently, he may seem otherworldly or unrealistic, but once understood, his motivations are easy to see. He needs to feel something in his heart or be moved by it in his soul for it to be true or worthy of his attention. He is dreamy and romantic and slow totake action, being more inclined to take time to savor the moment. He would rather enjoy the journey than rush to a destination. He would actually rather wander about than plot a course to anywhere specific. If you want to be in the moment, walk beside him. If you want to quickly achieve a task, he is definitely not your man.”*

~ by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

This card is about seeing through illusions and it is about balancing polarities. What is of the greatest importance to you now? How do you view your value system? Where is the balance between material and spiritual in your world? How do you balance the male and female energies within? These are all questions to ponder; getting honest with ourselves about how we see our lives and our roles in society. We are but a mirror for the larger picture. When we balance ourselves, it has resounding effects on the outside world around us. The more of us to pay attention, and work to create harmony within the polarities, achieving balance, the more balanced the world as a whole will become.

We live our lives under pressure. Social pressure to conform, to produce and to consume. We are taught from a young age where our responsibilities as a male or female member of society lie. We are taught what is possible for us, and thus what is impossible. We are taught what to value, what to believe, how to think, how to act and how to solve our problems. We are taught, in the western world at least, to put our endless pursuit of material possessions above our spiritual consciousness. We are taught that men are stronger than women, and that women are more sensitive and emotional than men. All lies of course.

We are in the middle of a huge shift of conscious awareness. We are waking up. We are expanding. We are becoming enlightened, illuminated. We are finally realizing…

That our spiritual pursuit is the only pursuit, all else will follow. That women and men are equally smart, equally strong, equally sensitive and equally courageous… if only they allow themselves to access the deep recesses of their hearts and souls. We are finally getting that the Earth cannot sustain our insatiable need for consumption; of animals, of natural resources, of man made plastics and chemicals. We are finally realizing that Love is the healing force, and that we are an integral part of the Divine. We are the Love and the Light that we seek.

The Knight Of Cups comes to challenge you to look closely at who you are in this world. What are your true values, are they heart centered? He challenges us to radiate love rather than looking for approval or acceptance. He asks us to live in the moment, be present and focus our immense Light on the task ahead. He asks that you see the cup in front of you, representing your life, as full of Love and Light, knowing it has always been yours to drink from.

Be the peace. Be the Light. Be the Love. Be the balance.

Heal and be healed.

The Blasted Beech

The Blasted Beech, from the Tarot Of The Hidden Realm, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Daily Angel Oracle Card: The Blasted Beech, from the Tarot Of The Hidden Realm, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

The Blasted Beech: “A moment ago they were sitting far above the earth in the lofty boughs of their beloved tree. It was their home. They devoted so much of their lives to nurturing it as well as they could and getting to know every branch, every knot. Over the seasons, they learned its ways and loved its ever-changing beauty. Although they lived in a very fair land, no part of it compared to the stately trunk of their tree and its delicate leaves that quivered so delightfully in the breeze. They planned on staying there forever, happy and safe above the earth.

They had weathered storms before, inhaling with anticipation the charged air that preceded a breathtaking display of rain, thunder, and lightening dancing among clouds that moved across the sky as if alive. In the beginning, they sometimes worried when a bolt felled another tree. But as time passed, they believed their tree to be immune. Then the unthinkable, the unbelievable, happened. They felt the rush of air deafen their ears and tear their hair even before they heard the crack. Their eyes moved frantically, in the few seconds it lasted, between the crashing branches and the fast approaching earth. Before they even know what had happened, their world had changed forever.”

Divinatory Meaning: “The Beech tree is often used to symbolize hard won or ancient knowledge, as well as the end of something, often by way of a realization or revelation. The Blasted Beech draws your attention to your life philosophy or to whatever part of your belief system is connected to the topic of your reading. That world view may be dear to your heart. It may have provided stability and guidance as you moved through life. You could depend on it. It was true with a capital “T.” But nothing, not even a very useful life philosophy, lasts forever. All it takes is one revelation, one particular insight, and you suddenly have to rethink everything. After getting over the shock, reevaluate. See what survived the crash, what can be salvaged, and what is no longer useful to you.”

~ By Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Change is in the air, and it may be that it comes as a bit of a curve ball. This doesn’t necessarily mean that things are going to go sideways in a bad way, although that may be the first thing we face when the change comes. Look for the silver lining. Something will be taken away in order to make space for something so much better for us… but if we refuse to trust in the Universe, and cling on for dear life to the old, then we will use up our energy in the struggle.

What is yours will come to you, no one else can have it or take it away. Sometimes we live our lives knowing full well that we are not living our highest good, and yet we are too stuck or too scared to change it. As we refuse to change, the pressure builds and an energetic dam of sorts is created. When the dam blows, it seems to bring with it chaos, all hell literally breaking loose. But this is actually not what is going on at all. It is simply opportunity catching up, it is the Universe creating space to bring your dreams from the un-manifest to the physical plane. Yes, it is all part of the process of your dreams coming true.

We may feel we need to batten down the hatches, prepare in some way. Yet there is no way to prepare other than to have Faith. Know that the Universe has your highest good in mind. Know that upheaval may be necessary before things can fall into place. Know that whatever happens, something awesome is coming to you.

Anticipate miracles.

Six Of Cups

Six Of Cups, from the Tarot Of The Hidden Realm, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Six Of Cups, from the Tarot Of The Hidden Realm, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Six Of Cups: “The salty spray from the crashing waves rain down on her head. Gentle currents caress her body as she relaxes into the bay, giving herself over to whatever experiences may come. The variety of sensations heightens her sensitivity without overwhelming her. The pearl at her forehead, a jewel from the sea, is one she always dons for this ritual, for the reviewing of memories, and helps focus her mind. Whether by chance or by divine guidance, six pink lotus blossoms float past, reminding her to approach her past with love and compassion, for herself and others.

Lowering into the water deeper, she lets her memories wash over her, experiencing them again. She moves even lower, until she is fully submerged, a kind of baptism, a cleansing of her spirit and renewal of her soul. She emerges, water flowing down her face, salt clinging to her skin, the transitory experience of emotions grounded in the solid earthiness of reality and the strange in between world of memory. Being washed by love, she is reborn to peace.”

Divinatory Meaning For This Card: “Memories are funny things and sometimes dangerous things. Recent research in neurology suggests that every time we recall a memory, we change it. The Six Of Cups reminds us to think about the past, to assess it, and to come to terms with it, but to do so with love and compassion. Painful memories can cause bitterness. Even happy memories can cause distress if we compare the present unfavorably to the past. The way you think about your past affects your present and your future. Gently shape your memories with forgiveness and healing so you can face your future with a peaceful heart.”*

~ by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Memories wash over us when we try to make life changing choices; they flood us with emotions and cloud our vision of the future. Whether we cling on to the good, or fear the bad, we use these memories as a filter to try to help us decide which way to turn, whether to move forward or stand still. But we don’t realize that these memories become blinders; they shield us from the true Light of possibility. They hold us in repetitive patterns and stop us from fully experiencing the New. We can appreciate our fond memories, and learn from the painful ones, but we must not live by them. We must learn to rise above them to create something new.

If you find yourself nostalgic, allow it for a time, but then release the old shadows of the past and seek the bright light of the Now, this is where the magic is created. Know that new, happy memories will be created, and old hurtful memories need not hold you back from living the life you desire. No matter what your mind tells you; anything is still possible and always has been.

Memories can sometimes contain things that people have told us, limiting thoughts or beliefs that we have clung on to and allowed to shape our personalities. These may have dictated what we thought we were capable, or incapable of being, doing or creating. Let them all go.

The future is bright and full of wonder. There are surprises and gifts on the way, there are new experiences and adventures to be had.

Let go of the past and embrace the present, the future is yours to create.

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Ace Of Wands, from the Tarot Of The Hidden realm, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Ace Of Wands: “Even while holding as still as possible, Fox quivers with movement. Energy – contained, tight, powerful – is coiled within him, causing his whiskers and tiny tufts of his fur to shake, creating nearly imperceptible movements that he would quiet if he could. He sees his desire, his prey. He gets one shot, one opportunity. It will be over, decided one way or the other, in a flash. The time leading up to that moment seems like an eternity, ending with an eruption of energy as a blur of red fur cuts through the deep green of the forest.

The fey love and honor Fox for his cunning and confidence. They recognize the importance of knowing exactly what they want, preparing, waiting, and taking action. The magic of Fox is that within his small body lie powerful passion and desire as well as control and discipline. Perhaps most importantly, the folks of the Hidden Realm recognize his reliance on intuition. The moment he is inspired, he acts.”

Divinatory Meaning: “This card heralds an opportunity, one that will require swift and decisive action. There will be no time to think, no weighing of pros and cons. It will just be there, waiting to be taken. If it is not, it will disappear; the moment will pass. You do not need to worry, though. This opportunity will resonate with a deep passion, and you will just know that the time to act is now. On some level, you have waited for, desired, and prepared for this. It is yours. Know it and own it.”*

~by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

We have worked to release fears, we have dreamed bigger and aimed our sights higher. We have mindfully focused our intention on our dreams and trusted in the Universe to provide. And now, it is about to do just that!

Opportunity is here. It is about to knock. Are you listening? Are you paying attention? Whatever it is that you have been trying to manifest is about to fling the doors of possibility wide open for  you. But of course, the Universe likes to have a little fun too, so it may not be exactly what  you are expecting! Release control, let go of limitations and tell the Universe, right here and now, that you are ready to receive what is on offer. Open yourself to possibility and decide, right now, that you will not let it slip away. Not this time!

Fox is your ally right now. Fox is intelligent, decisive and quick witted. Fox uses all of her senses; she is aware, agile and observant, she never misses a detail. Fox can help you to jump when opportunity arises; take that leap of faith and follow your intuition.

I AM ready to receive my amazing new opportunity.

I AM ready to manifest my dreams into my reality.

I AM
