Daily Angel Oracle Card: Three Of Bows from the Wild Wood Tarot, by Mark Ryan and John Matthews, artwork by Will Worthington

Three Of Bows: “Fulfillment”

Card Description: “A robed figure stands at the junction of two ways, one hand raised in blessing, the other holding a bow. Two bow staves, make from freshly cut branches, trimmed but still rough hewn, stand planted in the earth on either side of the road, forming a gateway through which the figure offers welcome to the approaching traveler.”

Meaning Of The Card: “Nourishment from a spiritual source gives inner security and joy. Goals and desires are reached, making life rich with emotional scrutiny and a sense of completion.”

Reading Points: “The archer must be at one with the bow to fully direct its potential energy, and just as the arrow passes through the bow, propelling it to its target with effortless grace, the questing heart and seeker of knowledge allows the energy to flow through him. This combination of balanced energy and intellectual focus enables the mastering of any situation and allows your arrows to fly completes an unseen, universal circuit. The inner stillness and focus thus produced is easily apparent and observable to others, and builds a sense of trust, confidence and security in those for whom you are responsible. This inner shining energy will inspire others to start out on their own path of discovery and sojourn to fulfillment.”

~ By Mark Ryan and John Matthews

The double serpents entwined represents the caduceus, the symbol of healing, life and spiritual wisdom. It is male and female energy in perfect balance. It is the spiral of DNA, our very makeup. It is the kundalini energy rising, chakras aligning, the body opening like a vessel connecting the Earth below to the Universe above. It is a very powerful symbol.

The man raises his hand in a blessing, palm raised to the sky. This also symbolizes the flowing of the reciprocal energy between heaven and Earth, above and below. His bow is lowered, a sign of peace. There is a feeling of momentum, his cloak flying behind him in the wind. He is a formidable figure, one to be honoured and respected. He stands before the world tree on what appears to be the edge of a cliff. Two trails wind on either side of the tree; signifying a decision to be made. The fact that his face is hidden and you must pass on either side signifies that the decision on which way to go is yours to make.

Which way will you go?

The Three Of Bows is a card of fulfillment. This means that the way you choose will be the one that most satisfies your heart’s desires. Only you know how to make this decision. All your resources are within you. You have everything you need in order to move forward.

Set your intention, follow your heart and let your intuition guide your way.

Six Of Vessels, from the Wild Wood Tarot card deck, by Mark Ryan and John Matthews, artwork by Will Worthington

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Six Of Vessels, from the Wild Wood Tarot card deck, by Mark Ryan and John Matthews, artwork by Will Worthington

Six Of Vessels: “Reunion”

Card Description: “A green mound is crowned by a grove of trees. In the face of the mound is an entrance framed with upright slabs of stone. Water gushes from the mouth of the mound and spreads out to form a pool of still water. On the water float six small vessels, each one filled with light. Two otters regard the scene.”

Card Meaning: “There may be affection and love in a situation that could take time to resolve. Recognition of ancestral and reincarnation memory. Polaric love between two soul mates.”

Reading Points: “An emotional reunion can sometimes refer to the mystical Karmic cycles that bring lovers back through time, space and lifetimes. The purpose of this ‘soul reunion’ may be manifold but it can be to complete unfinished business or to teach new lessons from old actions or wrong choices. It can also refer to the coming together of a band of comrades, tribal or clan members or a brotherhood of loyal friends, gathering for the acknowledgment of their shared bond. It may also refer to the reunion of the individual with their own true nature, in terms of a forgotten or rejected history or experience. By meditating on a past issue with new wisdom and insight and an acceptance of personal responsibility and forgiveness, reclamation may take place. A spiritual re-amalgamation of a facet of the individual’s personality, for the purpose of clearing and self-empowerment, ma be possible, and a healthy union in the soul the result. Reassurance is gained from a reunion of this nature, revealing whether the correct path was taken and your decisions were based on valid and honest instincts and motivations.”

~ by Mark Ryan and John Matthews

Once you know who you truly are, you can call those to you who match you in vibration. Your true soul family. ‘Calling’ them simply means getting out there in the world and being who you are, knowing that you will become a magnet to those who are also embracing their true authentic selves.

Your tribe will find you. They will feel so familiar, like coming home. You will understand each other in ways that usually take years. It will feel real, and flow with grace and ease. You won’t feel fear of abandonment, competition or betrayal. You will be able to trust again. In turn you can become the best version of yourself in a relationship, be it friendship or more.

You are calling those who have been important to you in past lifetimes back to you. A reunion. A blessing.

Open your heart. Allow them in. It is safe to do so.

The Moon On Water

Published August 7, 2017 by Dee ~ Archangel Oracle

The Moon On Water, from the Wild Wood Tarot, by Mark Ryan and John Matthews, Artwork by Will Worthington

Daily Angel Oracle Card: The Moon On Water, from the Wild Wood Tarot, by Mark Ryan and John Matthews, Artwork by Will Worthington

The Moon On Water:
Position on the Wheel: “The Moon On Water is placed at the womb of the Wheel, the Midwinter Solstice on 21 December and the dark sun. It’s element is Earth and it is at the gateway of the soul. It is the mystic still point where ideas and desires change from pure thought to objective reality.”

Card Description: “A full moon rising above primal swampland illuminates a dark winter sky. The fallow landscape is dotted with the hardy marsh reeds that survive and thrive in the peat-enriched water. A primal egg lies submerged in the nutrient rich swamp full of potential energy and creative power. The bare trees reach up  towards the sky and await the return of spring as a flight of crows and a heron circle above. A lone aurochs moves across the mysterious landscape.

The moon is the nearest companion to us in the solar system and it physically affects the tides and cycles of life on Earth, but its power goes far beyond that. In the primal world of the Wildwood, the moon also becomes the sacred and mysterious light that illuminates the darkness of the utter void. It is therefore a symbol of all the unconscious or unrealized insights into human reality.”

Card Meaning: “In the image of full of potential energy and creative power. The bare trees reach up  there is no visible pathway for the traveler, and yet its reflective light illuminates the whole landscape. We stand at the edge of the watery marsh, representing the primordial emotional state that holds all potential and creative energy within the human psyche, and are drawn to the horizon where moon meets Earth beyond the barren trees. Beyond the flight of the sacred heron lies the fusion of our ancestral soul with the soul of the Earth.

Before us is the primal egg, submerged in the amniotic fluid of the world, waiting for the creative impulse that begins the process of life. The aurochs’ horns represent fertility as well as the horns of the waxing and waning moon. The shape of the horns and the head resemble the womb and fallopian tubes. In Mithraic and Druidic tradition, the bull or ox also had a sacrificial role at midwinter, representing the coming of new life from the ‘death’ of winter. The heron is a sacred totem bird of fertility and is also known in Ireland as siothlagh a bhoga, meaning ‘sheelag of the boglands’, a euphemism for a promiscuous woman, although in the form of a stork the bird takes over the mysteries of reincarnation, offering powerful insights into the mystery of life itself.

The Moon On Water signifies the first steps beyond earthly awareness across the primal emotions void of creation. She also encompasses the dark-moon aspects of fertility, sexuality and initiation as well as the irrational fear of the creatures that are associated with the night such as faeries and demons and other hidden or unseen shapes of ancestral memory.”

Reading Points: “The Moon On Water heralds a time of inner transformation, initiation or awareness. This may take the form of a seemingly random situation based in the emotional or spiritual spheres, but your inner voice may have been whispering for some time and gone unheeded. Now your soul brings into your physical world the symbolic keys to the collective human subconscious. This may take the form of a desire to investigate or study a doctrine, philosophy or esoteric pursuit, or the wish to explore untapped sexual energy and experience a tighter spiritual bond with a partner through honesty and the expression of your hidden desires. From here, you can begin to wrestle with the concept that consciousness is not within you, but that you are within the consciousness of the universe.”

Roots and Branches: “The dark of the moon. Rebirth. The still point of potential. The path of the moon on the water. The gateway of the Soul. The tides of emotion and consciousness. The primal source of intuition and initiation.”*

~ by Mark Ryan and John Matthews

Interesting that this card of the full moon talks about the dark of the moon. Today is no ordinary full moon as we have a lunar eclipse to amplify the energies. The full moon is a time of heightened emotions and the bringing to the surface of those emotions which usually run so deep we feel that they have been buried forever. This particular full moon and eclipse is asking us to dig really deep and bring it all up to the surface, once and for all. This is the time to bless and release that which we have carried with us for far too long. Lifetimes perhaps. Old pain, old trauma, old wounds will all come bubbling up. Instead of taking the mighty effort to stuff them back down, be courageous enough instead to sit with them. Take them out one by one and turn them thoughtfully in the light of the moon. See them from every angle. Breathe them in. Hold it. Feel it. Bless it. And release it one final time with forgiveness and gratitude for the lessons learned. Exhale.

Not to add any pressure, but whether you choose to surrender to this process will have an impact not only on the rest of this year and the nine year cycle to follow, but quite possibly the rest of your days here in this incarnation. As I said, no pressure!

Why pack that baggage around any longer? Why not finally sort through it and let go of all that no longer serves you? Why not step into the 8:8 Lion’s Gateway portal of energy lighter than you ever thought possible? It is tomorrow after all…

The Wanderer

Published August 1, 2017 by Dee ~ Archangel Oracle

The Wanderer, from the Wild Wood Tarot, by Mark Ryan and John Matthews, artwork by Will Worthington

Daily Angel Oracle Card: The Wanderer, from the Wild Wood Tarot, by Mark Ryan and John Matthews, artwork by Will Worthington

The Wanderer ~ Position on the wheel: “The Wanderer stands at the heart of the human cycle, in the innermost circle of the Wheel, poised between the beginning and the end. This figure waits for guidance across the abyss of awareness and into the realm of archetypal consciousness.”

Card Description: “Poised on the edge of a while chalk cliff, the Wanderer prepares to step across the abyss and into the Wildwood beyond. Ahead lies the faint suggestion of a rainbow arch, onto which the Wanderer must step. This leap across the void is greeted with open arms and a deep trust that the wings of imagination and honesty will carry the figure onto the lush green turf of a new path.

Clothed in bark and the soft green mosses and foliage that symbolize the protective and healing essence of nature, The Wanderer is neither strongly male nor female, both genders combining in the slender body. The figures naked feet treat lightly on the sweet warm grass at the cliff edge and, across the divide, deep shadowed trees stand ready to receive this newcomer to the Wildwood. Amid the leaves of the tangled wood is the merest suggestion of a face – perhaps the spirit of the wood. “

Card Meaning: “At this moment the burdens of the past are set aside – either for the Wanderer to pick up and take along, or to leave behind if the weight is too great. The Wheel of the Year is beginning its great cycle, bringing a new range of possibilities and challenges. The Wanderer is ready to make the leap into the unknown – all that is required is faith.

The Wanderer represents the wisdom or courage to let go, to step into the void of the possible. Something within you may have already begun this unconscious, instinctive leap across the abyss; you know it is time to move on. Sometimes the fear of loss or failure may make you doubt the validity of change. You may want to wait or hesitate at the critical moment because of the comfort of security, but the momentum of the Great Wheel has already sent the true heart of the Wanderer into the future, leaping across the gap with courage and joy. Now the figure must leave the burdens that have been carried for so long and trust to the wings of imagination.

The Wanderer is both an end and a beginning. One journey has already come full circle and, as you distill your life experience into sacred memory and put the past and its burdens to rest, the future waits patiently for you to make the first move.

Remember that your wisdom, strength and whatever personal experiences and sills you have may not help you now. The honest spirit of human inquisitiveness leads you beyond yourself and into a new life. This unconscious energy creates a Rainbow Bridge that rises and greets your foot. It will carry you over the void, as you step, trusting and empowered, into the unknown.”

Reading Points: “You have come to a junction or turning point in your life. It may be an unconscious state in which you feel the tide has turned or sense something is going to happen. In a way it already has. Your spirit must move on and the desire to leap into the unknown beckons. This may mean leaving behind or giving up some baggage or burden that you have carried with you from the past. Now is the time to be clear and not let fear of falling or sad disillusion with the universe hold you back. Let your imagination carry you into a new set of possibilities. It is a time to travel hopefully and open your arms to new and challenging aspects of the universe.”

Roots and Branches: “Blind faith. A blank slate. The Inner Child. The leap in the dark. Following your heart. The seeker after knowledge or truth. The primal impulse. A vision of illumination that pulls you forward.”*

~ By Mark Ryan and John Matthews

And here we step into August and all it has to offer. Will you walk on the Rainbow Bridge; a bridge of faith that only shows itself as you place yourself with absolute faith upon it?

The Rainbow Bridge leads to a new timeline. Read that a couple of times. Let it sink into your subconsious mind. Close your eyes and say it in your head. Breathe it in. Let it settle.

You are at a cross roads here. Rainbow Bridge, leap of faith, follow your heart, release all the old and step forward into the new. Or more of the same. Totally up to you.

If you wish to create something new, something fantastic, take some time today and figure out exactly what that is. Write it down, make a vision board, put some of your precious energy into it. Focus on it with love and excitement. Breathe life into it.

Remind yourself every day what you wish to create. Despite whatever else happens to be going on around you. Focus.

And when the time comes, and you have put your energy and focus in, and you have created a portal through which to bring it through…

…then you must step out onto the Rainbow Bridge.

Three Of Stones ~ Creativity

Published June 28, 2017 by Dee ~ Archangel Oracle

Three Of Stones ~ Creativity, from the Wild Wood Tarot, by Mark Ryan and John Matthews, artwork by Will Worthington

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Three Of Stones ~ Creativity, from the Wild Wood Tarot, by Mark Ryan and John Matthews, artwork by Will Worthington

Three Of Stones ~ Creativity: “A huge trilithon stands amid bushes and rocks. On the left hand pillar there is a great aurochs from the painted caves of France; on the right is an ancient horse known as Przewalski. Standing between the stones, one hand on each, is a Green Woman, from whose feet roots of energy spread out as she draws upon the strength of the stones and the earth.”

Meaning of the Card: “An artist listens to the inner voice and hears the wind song of the universe. The courage, freedom and skill that allow the artist to mediate this energy must be refined and focused for effective and meaningful achievement.”

Reading Points: “The practical manifestation of creative energy requires a clear and open channel to the inspirational forces and impulses of the universe. Allowing this energy to flow through you is a rich and rewarding gift in itself. Just as releasing your dreams and desires into the universal consciousness always brings a response, so the releasing of creative energy invites into the artist the healing and enriching fuel from which further insight and visionary stimulus flows. This emotional and spiritual relationship with divine inspiration allows the subconscious mind to delve deeply and summons the intuitively creative power that actualizes work. Artistic beauty takes many forms and presents itself in a variety of ways, but the relationship with the subconscious formative energy, whether through music, painting, sculpture, or poetry, reminds us of the personal and intimate connection we all should share with the universal consciousness.”*

~ By Mark Ryan and John Matthews

We are so much more than our daily routine, our jobs, our bills and our responsibilities. Yet this is what takes up the majority of our time and energy. We can feel like we are literally drowning in obligation, our time doesn’t feel like our own, there is always something more which could be done. Many of us need permission to take a break, we must ask our bosses or our family if we can just take a day to ourselves; make arrangements to cover our usual tasks or caregiving. It can be draining, exhausting, and definitely a challenge to the flow of our creative juices.

As the card shows us, one of the most powerful ways we can recharge ourselves is by spending time in nature. Just looking at the peaceful expression in the Green Woman’s face captures it all; the vitality and prana energy she is receiving from the natural world. It is time that you got back to nature? Have you been feeling like you are being pulled in too many different directions? Are you in need of some inspiration, does your zest for life need a bit of a boost?

Creativity is as vital to us as any other aspect of our lives, yet it is the first thing to go when are in survival mode. We focus instead on making money, on providing for ourselves and our families and protecting what is ours. We don’t make time to do what we love to do, as it seems like a luxury.

It’s time to get creative, stir up the old energy and manifest something new. Creativity comes in many forms, it can be an artistic outlet, or it can be using your vibrant imagination to draw what you desire to you. It can be a way of expressing yourself in the world that feels right to you; whether it is judged by others or not! However creativity comes to you, it comes from the Divine. When you are drawn to a certain medium, music, expression or activity that gets you in the flow… go with it, it is doing you so much more good than you can even imagine!

If you don’t know where to start, start outside. Get into the forest, go to the beach, spend time in the garden. Breathe in the fresh air and let it revitalize you, body, mind and spirit. Ask for inspiration, ask for creativity to come. And follow the guidance when it comes.

Ace Of Bows

Published June 10, 2017 by Dee ~ Archangel Oracle

Ace Of Bows, from the Wild Wood Tarot, by Mark Ryan and John Matthews, artwork by Will Worthington

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Ace Of Bows, from the Wild Wood Tarot, by Mark Ryan and John Matthews, artwork by Will Worthington

Ace Of Bows: “Spark of Life”

Card Description: “Against a shimmering background of leaves and branches, a stout, rough-hewn hunting bow shimmers with the fire of life itself. The tip of an arrow rests on a heap of kindling chaff, and curled bark is bursting into flame as the tip flashes with brilliant incandescent light.”

Card Meaning: “As the turning of the cosmic axis generates the spark of life, so the kindling of a flame sparks the necessary light and warmth in our lives. The drill-bow suggests the human element, our partnership with the environment in which we live and the mastery of its gifts.”

Reading Points: “By shaping, directing and persevering with the tool that both hunts and nurtures fire, we kindle the spark that starts the process of creation and empowerment. This takes skill, effort, commitment and persistence, but the universe always responds with enlightenment, challenge and opportunity. This is the nature of the human relationship with creation, and leads to a deeper awareness of the part we must play in the great scheme of things. Harnessing the energy inherent in the bow, and the skill and endurance needed to loose the hunter’s arrows accurately and efficiently, are as primal and ancient as human existence itself. Every native tribe on Earth developed the bow as a tool, and choosing, shaping and tuning the bow stave and the arrows is a time-consuming and demanding craft that hones our skills and widens our knowledge of all the materials required in this ancient art. This also includes the habits and patterns of nature associated with the prey the hunter seeks and may infuse the archer with a new respect and reverence for the creatures that inhabit the Wildwood. Be prepared to learn new skills, adapt to a changing environment and focus and tune your instincts to the task at hand.”*

~ by Mark Ryan and John Matthews

Oh I am so happy to be past that full moon! Wow what a lot of energy, from the new moon to the full moon… did you feel it? Were you asked to rehash some old hurts and bring them up for a final release? I sure felt it. I am also feeling much better having my planet, Jupiter, back direct. Phew!

Today I have some good news! Expect a gift from the Universe very soon; something that will help you on your journey ahead. It will come quite literally as a gift, someone will give it to you, or somehow it will come to you unexpectedly. It may not be big or fancy or expensive, but it will have a more profound meaning than you may first realize. It is a gift that should be cherished; one that will shift your perspective if you allow it to.

There is magic here for you, and it is up to you to find it. Magic that will rekindle the flame within your heart. This is a powerful message, one that has the power to change everything. Like the symbolism on the card, there will be a profound breakthrough, either in your perspective, spiritual reality or material reality. Something that you didn’t even think possible will come to you, stronger and more powerful than you would even have dared to dream. Maybe a door opens where you never thought a door could be. You will soon find that you are stronger, more courageous and more capable than you ever gave yourself credit for.
