The Moon On Water

Daily Angel Oracle Card: The Moon On Water, from the Wild Wood Tarot, by Mark Ryan and John Matthews, Artwork by Will Worthington

The Moon On Water:
Position on the Wheel: “The Moon On Water is placed at the womb of the Wheel, the Midwinter Solstice on 21 December and the dark sun. It’s element is Earth and it is at the gateway of the soul. It is the mystic still point where ideas and desires change from pure thought to objective reality.”

Card Description: “A full moon rising above primal swampland illuminates a dark winter sky. The fallow landscape is dotted with the hardy marsh reeds that survive and thrive in the peat-enriched water. A primal egg lies submerged in the nutrient rich swamp full of potential energy and creative power. The bare trees reach up  towards the sky and await the return of spring as a flight of crows and a heron circle above. A lone aurochs moves across the mysterious landscape.

The moon is the nearest companion to us in the solar system and it physically affects the tides and cycles of life on Earth, but its power goes far beyond that. In the primal world of the Wildwood, the moon also becomes the sacred and mysterious light that illuminates the darkness of the utter void. It is therefore a symbol of all the unconscious or unrealized insights into human reality.”

Card Meaning: “In the image of full of potential energy and creative power. The bare trees reach up  there is no visible pathway for the traveler, and yet its reflective light illuminates the whole landscape. We stand at the edge of the watery marsh, representing the primordial emotional state that holds all potential and creative energy within the human psyche, and are drawn to the horizon where moon meets Earth beyond the barren trees. Beyond the flight of the sacred heron lies the fusion of our ancestral soul with the soul of the Earth.

Before us is the primal egg, submerged in the amniotic fluid of the world, waiting for the creative impulse that begins the process of life. The aurochs’ horns represent fertility as well as the horns of the waxing and waning moon. The shape of the horns and the head resemble the womb and fallopian tubes. In Mithraic and Druidic tradition, the bull or ox also had a sacrificial role at midwinter, representing the coming of new life from the ‘death’ of winter. The heron is a sacred totem bird of fertility and is also known in Ireland as siothlagh a bhoga, meaning ‘sheelag of the boglands’, a euphemism for a promiscuous woman, although in the form of a stork the bird takes over the mysteries of reincarnation, offering powerful insights into the mystery of life itself.

The Moon On Water signifies the first steps beyond earthly awareness across the primal emotions void of creation. She also encompasses the dark-moon aspects of fertility, sexuality and initiation as well as the irrational fear of the creatures that are associated with the night such as faeries and demons and other hidden or unseen shapes of ancestral memory.”

Reading Points: “The Moon On Water heralds a time of inner transformation, initiation or awareness. This may take the form of a seemingly random situation based in the emotional or spiritual spheres, but your inner voice may have been whispering for some time and gone unheeded. Now your soul brings into your physical world the symbolic keys to the collective human subconscious. This may take the form of a desire to investigate or study a doctrine, philosophy or esoteric pursuit, or the wish to explore untapped sexual energy and experience a tighter spiritual bond with a partner through honesty and the expression of your hidden desires. From here, you can begin to wrestle with the concept that consciousness is not within you, but that you are within the consciousness of the universe.”

Roots and Branches: “The dark of the moon. Rebirth. The still point of potential. The path of the moon on the water. The gateway of the Soul. The tides of emotion and consciousness. The primal source of intuition and initiation.”*

~ by Mark Ryan and John Matthews

Interesting that this card of the full moon talks about the dark of the moon. Today is no ordinary full moon as we have a lunar eclipse to amplify the energies. The full moon is a time of heightened emotions and the bringing to the surface of those emotions which usually run so deep we feel that they have been buried forever. This particular full moon and eclipse is asking us to dig really deep and bring it all up to the surface, once and for all. This is the time to bless and release that which we have carried with us for far too long. Lifetimes perhaps. Old pain, old trauma, old wounds will all come bubbling up. Instead of taking the mighty effort to stuff them back down, be courageous enough instead to sit with them. Take them out one by one and turn them thoughtfully in the light of the moon. See them from every angle. Breathe them in. Hold it. Feel it. Bless it. And release it one final time with forgiveness and gratitude for the lessons learned. Exhale.

Not to add any pressure, but whether you choose to surrender to this process will have an impact not only on the rest of this year and the nine year cycle to follow, but quite possibly the rest of your days here in this incarnation. As I said, no pressure!

Why pack that baggage around any longer? Why not finally sort through it and let go of all that no longer serves you? Why not step into the 8:8 Lion’s Gateway portal of energy lighter than you ever thought possible? It is tomorrow after all…

The Wanderer

The Wanderer, from the Wild Wood Tarot, by Mark Ryan and John Matthews, artwork by Will Worthington

Daily Angel Oracle Card: The Wanderer, from the Wild Wood Tarot, by Mark Ryan and John Matthews, artwork by Will Worthington

The Wanderer ~ Position on the wheel: “The Wanderer stands at the heart of the human cycle, in the innermost circle of the Wheel, poised between the beginning and the end. This figure waits for guidance across the abyss of awareness and into the realm of archetypal consciousness.”

Card Description: “Poised on the edge of a while chalk cliff, the Wanderer prepares to step across the abyss and into the Wildwood beyond. Ahead lies the faint suggestion of a rainbow arch, onto which the Wanderer must step. This leap across the void is greeted with open arms and a deep trust that the wings of imagination and honesty will carry the figure onto the lush green turf of a new path.

Clothed in bark and the soft green mosses and foliage that symbolize the protective and healing essence of nature, The Wanderer is neither strongly male nor female, both genders combining in the slender body. The figures naked feet treat lightly on the sweet warm grass at the cliff edge and, across the divide, deep shadowed trees stand ready to receive this newcomer to the Wildwood. Amid the leaves of the tangled wood is the merest suggestion of a face – perhaps the spirit of the wood. “

Card Meaning: “At this moment the burdens of the past are set aside – either for the Wanderer to pick up and take along, or to leave behind if the weight is too great. The Wheel of the Year is beginning its great cycle, bringing a new range of possibilities and challenges. The Wanderer is ready to make the leap into the unknown – all that is required is faith.

The Wanderer represents the wisdom or courage to let go, to step into the void of the possible. Something within you may have already begun this unconscious, instinctive leap across the abyss; you know it is time to move on. Sometimes the fear of loss or failure may make you doubt the validity of change. You may want to wait or hesitate at the critical moment because of the comfort of security, but the momentum of the Great Wheel has already sent the true heart of the Wanderer into the future, leaping across the gap with courage and joy. Now the figure must leave the burdens that have been carried for so long and trust to the wings of imagination.

The Wanderer is both an end and a beginning. One journey has already come full circle and, as you distill your life experience into sacred memory and put the past and its burdens to rest, the future waits patiently for you to make the first move.

Remember that your wisdom, strength and whatever personal experiences and sills you have may not help you now. The honest spirit of human inquisitiveness leads you beyond yourself and into a new life. This unconscious energy creates a Rainbow Bridge that rises and greets your foot. It will carry you over the void, as you step, trusting and empowered, into the unknown.”

Reading Points: “You have come to a junction or turning point in your life. It may be an unconscious state in which you feel the tide has turned or sense something is going to happen. In a way it already has. Your spirit must move on and the desire to leap into the unknown beckons. This may mean leaving behind or giving up some baggage or burden that you have carried with you from the past. Now is the time to be clear and not let fear of falling or sad disillusion with the universe hold you back. Let your imagination carry you into a new set of possibilities. It is a time to travel hopefully and open your arms to new and challenging aspects of the universe.”

Roots and Branches: “Blind faith. A blank slate. The Inner Child. The leap in the dark. Following your heart. The seeker after knowledge or truth. The primal impulse. A vision of illumination that pulls you forward.”*

~ By Mark Ryan and John Matthews

And here we step into August and all it has to offer. Will you walk on the Rainbow Bridge; a bridge of faith that only shows itself as you place yourself with absolute faith upon it?

The Rainbow Bridge leads to a new timeline. Read that a couple of times. Let it sink into your subconsious mind. Close your eyes and say it in your head. Breathe it in. Let it settle.

You are at a cross roads here. Rainbow Bridge, leap of faith, follow your heart, release all the old and step forward into the new. Or more of the same. Totally up to you.

If you wish to create something new, something fantastic, take some time today and figure out exactly what that is. Write it down, make a vision board, put some of your precious energy into it. Focus on it with love and excitement. Breathe life into it.

Remind yourself every day what you wish to create. Despite whatever else happens to be going on around you. Focus.

And when the time comes, and you have put your energy and focus in, and you have created a portal through which to bring it through…

…then you must step out onto the Rainbow Bridge.

A perfect message to start a new month! Blessings of new beginnings; opportunities and the light of a new dawn. All of this deeply resonates with me at this time, as we embark upon the second phase of 2017.

So much deep work has been done over the last six months, it really has been a whirlwind. So many energies to assimilate; so many new frequencies… are you accepting and embracing them, or have you felt as if you are fighting them? Surrender is key. Throw your arms wide; your palms out; your heart open. Accept it with grace and ease, gratitude. It has caused some chaos for sure as the polarities stretch farther and farther apart. What will become of us all, this complicated human race?

What we have learned is that we absolutely must take full responsibility for our the creation and manifestation of our own realities. As each individual does so, we can come together to form a new collective consciousness. As we take on more and more light, we form a powerful grid around the planet; one of healing,  of acceptance of unconditional Love. When we understand just how powerful we are, each and every single individual, then we can come together as a whole.

And change everything. Complete and total transformation of a broken system. From the inside out.

Starting with you.

Happy July!

Ace Of Fire

Published January 12, 2017 by Dee ~ Archangel Oracle
Ace Of Fire, from the Dreams Of Gaia Oracle Card deck, by Ravynne Phelan

Ace Of Fire, from the Dreams Of Gaia Oracle Card deck, by Ravynne Phelan

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Ace Of Fire, from the Dreams Of Gaia Oracle Card deck, by Ravynne Phelan

Ace Of Fire: “New Beginnings, Initiative, Action, Conception, Invention, Creation, Creativity, Procrastination”

Key Phrases: “New Beginnings, Opportunities; Actively pursuing your goals; Take advantage of what’s being offered; Move beyond research and planning; Weave your future into being; Take something old and make it better; Break with tradition and offer something new; Uncertainty inspires procrastination”

Card Meaning: “Like all of the Ace cards, the Ace Of Fire represents the promise of new beginnings and opportunities, but unlike the other Aces, this card also represents action. It represents the power for, and the necessity of, taking the initiative and actively pursuing our goals. It is about taking advantage of the opportunities we are presented with, as opposed to thinking about it. It is good to have a goal, to dream, and to make plans – but the Ace Of Fire lets us know that now is the time to move beyond research and planning. It is time to take the first real steps toward getting things underway.

It is time to follow through on inspiration and create. It is time to weave your future into being, time for you to begin your active participation.

The Ace Of Fire also symbolizes inventiveness. Take an old idea and make it better, or create something new and unique. Whatever you seek to do, you can now make it your own and imbue it with your unique perspective and imagination. Now, rather than following tradition, do something in a way that offers a new approach.

You are surrounded by so much potential at this moment. The Ace Of Fire represents passion and excitement. It is a time full of energy and life. Take advantage of this moment and the power it brings.”

Potential Blockage: “As Challenger, Ace Of Fire represents uncertainly. You are not sure of what you want, and so you may procrastinate and do everything but what you know you should be doing. To help you past this blockage, the Ace asks that you look within, and clarity your objectives. Do you have too much on your plate already? Do those responsibilities prevent you from focussing on your objectives and the steps you need to take in order to have them manifest?

It is time to decide what it is that you truly want so you can act. Know that you can do what needs to be done in order to accomplish your goals.”*

~ By Ravynne Phelan

This message is pretty clear: Decide what you want and take action steps to bring it into your reality. Period.

Easy right?

Except that many of us actually don’t know exactly what we want and we get all caught up in the tangible, physical and material reality of it all…

Like maybe we think we have to manifest a certain vehicle, house, soul mate or body. Maybe we think that will never happen or could never happen to us, so we waffle back and forth, editing our dreams down to something smaller; whatever we perceive as more attainable. Maybe we use others to measure ourselves against and we look to them and want what they have and convince ourselves that is what we should have, not realizing that we need to custom create it for ourselves. What is theirs is theirs, and what is ours will be ours.

So what if we decided to manifest feelings and states of Being instead of people and stuff? What if we set our intention only on creating: Joy, Peace, Love, Abundance, Health, Wealth, Prosperity and Security. Would that take some of the confusion out of it? Would that take the pressure off? What if we asked the Universe to co-create with us, to open doors for us, to guide us in the right direction. What if we added that it be for the Highest Good of All, and that it would benefit the planet in some way as well? Now we are talking!

In turn we take action. We get out there and BE what we are creating, that is our end of the deal. We get out there and BE happy, BE peaceful, BE joyful, BE loving, BE healthy, Be the healing Light, BE wise with our financial decisions until we create opportunity for wealth and prosperity. All the while trusting. All the while having Faith in ourselves and in the Universe to provide.

Working on our sense of self-love and self-worth instead of chasing someone elusive to give us the feelings we desire. Taking up the healthy lifestyle as no one is going to do it for us. Taking charge of our emotions and going from reactive and overwhelmed to peaceful, calm and balanced. Yes it is possible… if you decide it is of course. This is the action we must take, the action that niggles at us every day. The stuff we know darn well we should do and underestimate what a difference it would make if we actually just DID IT!

And since the planets are all in alignment til February 6th, we are going to get extra bang for our efforts…. And since this is a #1 year in numerology and whatever we create this year will start a new 9 year cycle, there is absolutely no way we can procrastinate on this or not get things moving in the right direction. And to top it off, it’s the full moon. This is it. The time is NOW.

You are in complete control, absolutely responsible for what this cycle looks like, why not make it mindblowingly awesome???

Get out there and be the best version of yourself… YOU.10  and see what that brings you. That is Magic. That is action towards miraculous change.

And so it is

Ace Of Earth

Published January 1, 2017 by Dee ~ Archangel Oracle
Ace Of Earth, from the Dreams Of Gaia Oracle Card deck, by Ravynne Phelan

Ace Of Earth, from the Dreams Of Gaia Oracle Card deck, by Ravynne Phelan

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Ace Of Earth, from the Dreams Of Gaia Oracle Card deck, by Ravynne Phelan

Ace Of Earth: “New Beginnings, Goals, Motivation, Desire, Preparations, Opportunity, Education, Security, Potential Reward, Potential Consequences”

Key Phrases: “Practicality and Pragmatism, Starting Anew, New Financial or Career Opportunity, Reward vs Consequence, Making Preparations, Planning for the Future, Material Gain, A Desire for Security”

Meaning: “When the Ace Of Earth appears in your reading, it represents a time of change and new beginnings on the career and home front. This change is driven by a desire for financial security and independence for yourself, or for those for whom you are responsible.

It is a time to make preparations and plans for the future so that you are not challenged or placed under stress by the changes that are coming. What do you want to do with your life? What career path will allow you to to both meet your responsibilities and be fulfilled. Are you more interested in financial reward than seeking a vocation or career that will stimulate you and make you happy?

It is time for you to think of the outcome you desire. Do you need to further your education and qualification to create more financially rewarding opportunities?

A new beginning founded in practicality and pragmatism – this is the energy of the Ace Of Earth. It is time to be grounded in your approach and seek tangible outcomes that meet your desires. Determine your weaknesses and strengths, weigh your responsibilities, and then decide whether or not they fit with your goals and objectives. Also, be sure to consider the impact your decision will have on those around you. Be certain of your motivation.

If you desire a safe and secure environment that is free of financial stress, then now is the time to consider building a solid foundation.”

Potential Blockage, When This Card Comes To You As Challenger: “The Ace Of Earth signifies that too much emphasis may have been placed on financial reward or career goals, to the detriment of other needs and responsibilities. What price are you willing to pay in order to meet your goals? Are you motivated by genuine need? By fear? Or by material desires? These are questions you need to ask yourself, now. How important is material gain? How fast do you wish to achieve financial security? And for what purpose?

The Earth cards represent home, family, and career, and a harmonious marriage of the three. While your life may not include all three, be sure that your opportunity to have love and family will not be limited by a path that focuses only on your need for financial security.

If you do have family – a spouse, children, or both – are you putting your desire for financial security before the emotional needs and responsibilities of a partner and parent? Will the plans you have made take you away from family and place undue pressures on your relationships with others? If the answer is “yes” or “maybe” the Ace Of Earth as challenger suggests that it is time to rethink your goals, or weight the potential rewards against the potential consequences.

Do not act selfishly at this time, or the consequences may be greater than anticipated.”*

~ By Ravynne Phelan

We are responsible for our own realities. If we don’t like what we see around us, it is up to us and only us to change it. How does that statement make you feel? Empowered? Or angry, petulant and a little scared? Do you feel the victim of circumstance? Or do you feel like you are a powerful manifestor? Whatever  you answer, you are correct. If you are not sure, the evidence surrounds you in every aspect of your life.

Today is the start of a brand new chapter, a clean slate. Now, finally, you can take full control and make some serious changes in your life. Transformation is NOW. Yes, there may be a final release. Yes, there may be some turmoil, but you knew that. All the gentle poking and prodding and whispering and guiding… were you listening? If not, expect a kick in the butt from the Universe pretty quick… you must get back on your path. Remember? You came here for a very important reason. There is no more time to lose.

Your thoughts, feelings, intentions and personal power will create your new reality. What will that look like?

Did you make a vision board? Start a God Box? Create a collage of dreams? Journal? Make an alter? Set a powerful intention in a way that resonates with you?

Do whatever it is that you have to do to get really clear on what it is that you desire to create.

Then get out there and create it.

Happy 2017, it’s going to be just as awesome as you make it!

Ace Of Pentacles, from the Tarot Of The Hidden Realm, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Ace Of Pentacles, from the Tarot Of The Hidden Realm, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Ace Of Pentacles: “Dry leaves rustle, rattling like old bones, a soft sound that warms the chill night air. A pointy nose and alert eyes emerge from the ground cover, sniffing, searching. Ever close to the ground, Hedgehog is also close to mama Gaia and is sensitive to small changes in her environment as well as broader ones. She knows what to expect, as well as what signals warn of the unexpected. The leaves crunching beneath her tiny paws, she knows, will eventually become soil, ready to nourish new seeds. This is the cycle of life, writ large in the transformation of acorn to oak to soil, and writ small in the journey from egg to cocoon to butterfly.

The inhabitants of the Hidden Realm admire Hedgehog for her ability to take care of herself. For them, because she makes the most of all the gifts given to her, she symbolizes protection, grace under attack, intelligence, and resourcefulness. Hidden Realm folk are amused by such a small, comical creature having such powerful abilities.”

Divinatory Meaning Of This Card: “This card holds a very special gift. there is a human saying about not despising small beginnings. Hedgehog, the Ace of Pentacles, shows up to remind you of that very saying. In fact, not only should you not despise this small beginning, but you should also treasure it, for you do not even realize the possibilities that have just been presented to you. Right now, in this moment, listen carefully and hear the rustle of leaves. Watch for the emerging bundle of goodness. Recognize its value no matter how silly or sweet or awkward. Within that small seed is the potential to achieve amazing things. What you do with it is up to you.”*

by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Yesterday we were asked to renew our faith, in ourselves, in the Divine and in our Life’s journey. Today were are receiving the message that a gift is on it’s way to us. Be aware that this gift may come in a tiny package. It may not be what we expected. We may even believe that it is of no use to us, or that we should hold our for something bigger and better. Yet this gift is a doorway, should we choose to open it.

We have all heard the saying “good things come in small packages.” This is one of those instances, and the small package may in fact be just a small shift in your perception. It may also be a small step forward in the right direction by you towards what you wish to create. But however this gift comes to you, do not ignore or bypass it. Accept it with an open mind, and and open heart. Send gratitude and fill your heart with love as you accept it. Doing so will activate and amplify the magnetic effect of the Law Of Attraction, bringing you more amazing people, opportunities and abundance into your life.

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Osiris, from the Gods and Titans Oracle Card deck, by Stacey Demarco, artwork by Jimmy Manton

Osiris: “Renewal”

“Pay attention to your need for rejuvenation and renewal, both physically and mentally. You are invited to experience the magic of hope.”

“Perhaps one of the most enduring gods of resurrection, Osiris, husband of Isis, is one of the key members of the Egyptian pantheon. Son of the earth god, Geb, and Nuit, goddess of the sky, Osiris developed into a god of death and rebirth after his own violent death.

The story of Isis’s love and devotion to Osiris after his brother Set killed and dismembered him is central to Egyptian myth. After Osiris’s murder, Isis traveled the earth looking for the pieces of his body. She then cast a powerful spell, which brought her husband back to life long enough to conceive a son, Horus. Then Osiris retreated back into the underworld. As a deity of resurrection, Osiris gave hope to all that there was an afterlife and that death could be transcended.

Osiris did not just judge the dead but was also responsible for their afterlife and reincarnation. As a result, the energy of rebirth and renewal is tied more to Osiris than to the other lords of the underworld. Ancient Egyptians created complex magical processes, rituals, and rites with Osiris as the central figure to ensure a successful resurrection after death.

Depicted with green skin to signify his role as the force behind germination and fertility, Osiris ruled over the flooding Nile and budding crops.

You can call upon Osiris when you need to be renewed. When you are tired, physically or mentally, his magical energy will nourish you. When you feel like there is no hope, particularly after trauma or a difficult relationship, his presence will sooth you. Osiris also appears when there is a beginning or transition close at hand.”

If This Card Comes To You As Challenger: “If we push ourselves too hard, destroy our bodies, or pay no heed to the fruitfulness of our relationships, sometimes it becomes too late or too difficult for complete renewal. Pay attention to your own self-care and your own rejuvenating power. Should you need to, take time to rest and repair. Osiris’s visit often indicates the need for a retreat or holiday, so not heeding this could make you less efficient and happy.”*

~ By Stacey Demarco

You may feel as if you are spinning your wheels. Changes have been made, and yet where are you with all of this? Why is it all taking so long? Perhaps you are feeling a bit impatient with the whole process. You were expecting it to go a bit more smoothly. You were listening and you made the necessary changes even though it scared you. So now what?

Be gentle with yourself. Breathe. Take some time away from the chaos. Spend time in silence. Get out in Nature.

Find your hope again.

Know that this is all part of the process. Know that you are assimilating new energies. Integration take time. Go easy on yourself.

Know that part of the ascension process is the acceptance of you. Where you are at right now. Love that. What you have been through. Love that too. Where you are going. Embrace it with Love.

This is the transition period. Between the old and the new. The ripening. This is a time of rejuvenation. Of replenishment. Of new clarity. Beginnings.

Hope. Faith. And Trust.
