Tiger Angel: “The Universe needs you. It needs your strength, your guiding hand, your devotion, your goodness and your protection. There are people, projects, ideas and hopes that need your encouragement, your optimism, your nurturing. You have helpful healing power in you. Be confident enough to be gentle and your inner power shall uplift and protect many in this world, keeping them safe and inspiring them to trust in love.”

“We all have moments where we wonder if we are doing such a great job at this game of life. The idea of helping others might appeal; and yet, when we have our moments of struggle in our own lives, we may question whether or not we are a good candidate to protect, guide and nurture others.

When the desire to create a positive contribution to the world exists in your heart, you  must remember that such desire was placed there on purpose, for your life purpose. The universe knows what you are capable of and believes in you. Even though you don’t always realize it, you have the light of an angel and the fierceness of a tiger within you. You are capable of so much more than you realize.

One of your spiritual gifts is the art of invisible influence. This empowers you to guide others without breaking the spirit of those you lead. You don’t need to tell others what to do or how to be, you can simply hold a vision of them in your heart, a vision that sees them being and becoming all they can be.

Your influence becomes powerful in the lives of others based on how you choose to live. Even if you don’t say a word, your presence assists. Maybe your invisible influence extends to your family, your friends, your neighbours, your co-workers or your clients. It might even be the world at large you are helping, simply through how you choose to think and be in your life.

There is a truth in your heart, the truth that knows every being is loved and deserves to feel safe and live their life in freedom and truth. Your adherence to this truth can take even the most fearful and resistant thoughts within you and the people around you. Remembering the ability you have to calm the heart and empower the soul creates a feeling of security within you. Your invisible influence also helps all beings to remember that there is no need for fear, and that together, we can create a world where all creatures are happy and free.”

“Say the following affirmation aloud to boost the power of this message and to integrate it into your body, mind and soul. You can say it morning and/or evening for a few days or even a few months:

“Tiger Angel burning bright,
I am power, love and healing light.”

Oh how I love the concept of ‘The Art of Invisible Influence’. This is exactly what we need to understand and put to good use right now. It is setting the intention and holding the vision for the Highest Good Of All. It is asking, by the Grace of the Universe, for positive outcomes for all concerned. It is holding space for something better; for more healing, more love and more light in the world.

And then there is your mere presence. Your light. Your gift. You finding your joy, raising your vibration, being the peace, the love, the light. Living your passion and inspiring others to do the same. Creating community. Sharing. Trusting. Giving back. Receiving.

Honouring the cycles and the rhythms of the planet. Helping our Great Mother to heal, to ascend. Putting her needs in line with ours. Peace. Balance.

The only way things will change is if we can change them. One at a time.

Sovereignty meets solidarity.

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Nurture, from the Whispers Of Lord Ganesha Oracle Card deck, by Angela Hartfield, artwork by Ekaterina Golovanova

Nurture: “Focus on creating a calm and balanced life for yourself.”

“Ganesha asks you to maintain a compassionate, nurturing, realistic and down to earth attitude when it comes to collaborating with others and your present conditions. You can benefit from being more resourceful and practical. This is a time of slowing down and biding your time and resources. Deal with any issues as they arise, and brainstorm practical and easy solutions that will fix the problem with minimal drama.

Be careful of giving too much, without regard for your own needs. If you have been feeling exhausted or have been prone to illness, you are invited to stop doing so much for others and do more for you at this time. Do not seek empowerment by doing for others from a place of needing acknowledgment. Empower yourself by nurturing yourself and then, from a healthy place, help others.

Learn to nurture and to create occasions for others to grow by offering a safe, accommodating energy. This energy is the energy of the heart chakra. As your life comes more into alignment with your soul purpose, you bring this nurturing and unconditional love beyond your immediate surroundings and out into the world.

The female figure in this card is Ganesha’s mother, Parvati. She represents a strong female figure in your life that you may look to for extra support and guidance. this could be any female role model, friend or acquaintance that you find yourself drawn to at this time. Alternatively, Parvati can represent a part of yourself, especially when much of your time is spent focusing on the nurturing and caring of others.”*

~ By Angela Hartfield

If your energies are feeling scattered, or you are feeling stretched in too many directions at once, it is time to pull back in. We take on too much, we look after every one else’s needs and put them before our own, and we end up feeling exhausted and depleted. Sometimes we do this because we are trying to avoid conflict, sometimes we are seeking approval through making others happy, and sometimes we have just taken on too much responsibility. Maybe we are using looking after others as a distraction so that we don’t have the time or energy to deal with what is going on in our own lives. Maybe we are using it to heal guilt or shame. And maybe we simply find ourselves in that certain stage of life at this time… having young children, aging parents or a new business that just takes up all our time and energy.

If possible, take some time for self-care. Take a break from all that you have going on in your life; and from the worries and stress these people or issues may create. When we take a little break, it not only assists us physically and emotionally to recharge our batteries and build up our strength and energy stores; it also helps us to shift our perspective.

Seek the counsil of a a “wise elder,” someone who has been through what you have been through, and can either help you or give you some sage advice. Accept help when it is offered, and do not feel guilty for needing assistance. Do some research and see if you can find a simple solution to streamline any challenges without allowing them to throw you too far off track.

Ganesha is the breaker of obstacles and he is here to assist us in finding a simple, accessible path on our journey. Ask him to stay by your side and show the way.

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Four Of Swords ~ Zombie Toad, from the Animal Totem Tarot Card deck, by Leeza Robertson, Artwork by Eugene Smith

Four Of Swords ~ Zombie Toad: “Did you know that the most successful people of your time nap? Resting one’s mind and body does wonders for the creative energy of the soul. It is in this stillness that we can remove ourselves from the workings of the physical world and just allow things to fall into place, without our constant interference. Sometimes the best course of action is no action at all. Just for today, take a load off and rest those weary bones.”

~ Message Form the Zombie Toad

“The Sonoran Desert Toad, aka the Zombie Toad, got its nickname from the fact that it spends most of its life buried underground, in a state of hibernation. The only thing that can wake this Toad up and get him to come above ground is the rain. When the monsoons hit the deserts of the southwest, this triggers and internal alarm in the Toads and lets them know it is time to rise and shine. The Toad, much like the Four Of Swords, knows when to act and when to lie in wait. Sometimes you just have to wait until the time is right. Acting before you need to could not only be a waste of energy, it could be dangerous. Now is the time for stillness, to rest and increase the amount of naps you take. It may even be the time to take an actual retreat.”

Business and Career: “The saying ‘Get out of your own way’ rings loud and true for this card. Now is not the time to push; instead, it is time to do nothing at all. Stop whatever it is you are doing and just allow things to fall into place.”

Family and Relationships: “Do you need to stop and let others look after you for a change? Allow yourself to lean on others, or to let those around you play a bigger part than you have allowed them to in the past. Take yourself out of the action for a while and see what happens.”

Health and Well Being: “This card can literally mean rest. So for now, put your feet up and allow your body the rest and recovery it craves. This is not the time to push yourself to your limits; instead lie down, sleep, dream and heal.”

Card of the Day Journal Prompts:

“-What are you afraid will happen if you are not there to control everything?
-Where can you include more down time in your schedule?
-If you could go anywhere for a vacation, where would you choose to go and why?”*

~ By Leeza Robertson

We are being reminded again of the power of rest and relaxation. Not every moment has to be scheduled. Not every moment must be productive, at least in the typical sense. It is time to take a break, have a siesta. Breathe. Dream. Allow your body, mind and spirit to heal.

We push ourselves every moment of every day. We have high expectations of what we should accomplish in a day, a week a month. We get exhausted and overwhelmed. And yet we keep going until we are completely burned out. Believe me, I know. I am totally guilty of burning the candle at both ends. Sometimes it seems never ending all the things I must try to accomplish. The responsibilities piling up. Sometimes we just need a break. Even if it is just for an hour or two of yoga; music; breathing; a hot bath; time alone to do what you love to do. Slowly. Mindfully. Relishing the time instead of being under pressure constantly.

This is the gift of the Zombie Toad. Rest. Relax. Take it easy. Breathe. Let it all come to you.

Yemaya ~ Surrender

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Yemaya ~ Surrender, from the Goddess Oracle Card deck, by Sophia Marashinsky artwork by Hrana Janto

Yemaya ~ Surrender:

“Come with your cares

come with your woes

come when life is joyful

come when life weighs you down

come when you are spread too thin

come when you are danced outcome when you seek renewal

all I ask when you come

is that you surrender to me

mother ocean

my watery womb waits to hold you

nurture you

birth you anew

when you let go and give over all to me.”

Mythology: “Yemaya (pronounced ee’mah-zha) is a Santeria  African-Caribbean Goddess of the sea, who gave birth to fourteen orishas, or spirits. Originally known as Ymoja, the West African Yoruban river mother, she also came to Brazil where she is known as Iamanja. At her celebration on the Summer Solstice, her worshippers arrive at her shorelines dressed in white and launch little boats loaded with flowers, candles, and gifts. Sometimes she accepts the offerings and prayers and sometimes she send them back. It is said that those who come to Mother Yamaya and surrender to her find that their troubles dissolve in the waters of her embrace.

Meaning Of The Card: “Yemaya swimming into your life signals a time for surrender. Are you carrying more than you can handle comfortably? Do you think you must do it all by yourself? Have you come up against a wall and feel the only way to get to the other side is by breaking through? Surrender doesn’t mean giving up; rather you are giving over, asking for assistance so you can do what you want to do. Wholeness is nurtured when you realize that the only way through some situations is to surrender and open to something greater. The act of surrendering is one of opening and trust. When we open and trust, we allow Goddess energy to work with us to achieve what we need.”*

~ by Sophia Marashinsky

The illusion of separation is finally coming to an end. We can feel the connection to the Earth, we can see it in everyone around us… if we allow it. Animals are shifting, they are demonstrating their ability to love outside the boundaries of species… have you noticed the amount of media attention that the videos of curiously matched pairs such as lions and dogs, cats and birds, bobcats and coyotes are becoming so popular? Animals are even reaching out to humans in a new and unprecedented way; elephants and rhinos accepting help and protection from poachers; whales and dolphins interacting with boats and divers; even a hippo who is attached to the humans that raised it. The lines are blurring.

We are being asked to feel deeply into our connection to the Divine. We are being asked to trust in a way that bypasses ego and comes straight from the Soul. Develop so much Faith that worry, doubt and fear will be distant memories… old, dense and unnecessary emotional patterns of the past.

We are being asked to know with absolute conviction that the Universe will provide. If we can allow it.

Surrender to the Love.

The Green Woman

The Green Woman

The Green Woman, from the Heart Of Faery Oracle Card deck, by Brian and Wendy Froud

Daily Angel Oracle Card: The Green Woman, from the Heart Of Faery Oracle Card deck, by Brian and Wendy Froud

The Green Woman: “Subtlety; Beauty; Fruition.”

“Just as there is a balance of masculine and feminine energy in all of us, there is that same balance of energy in all of nature. The Green Woman is the subtle “greening” of the world, the gentle flow of energy, creativity, inner strength, full of moisture and the nurturing qualities of plant life. She cradles us in her strong arms and soothes us with the healing energy of all that is beautiful, rather than awesome, in nature. When you observe the delicate ivy surrounding an ancient oak tree, when you smell a flower and marvel at the beauty of its form and colour, you honour the strength and the subtlety of the Green Woman.

When she appears before you in a reading, let her powerful, gentle energy surround and nurture you. A relationship calls for gentle “greening” sometimes. Tread softly and gently to bring a relationship to fruition in its tentative stages. Be strong in your convictions, but gentle in the manner in which you present them, and you emulate the Green Woman.”*

– Brian and Wendy Froud

Another message from the natural world. The Green Woman represents Mother Gaia, our amazing and powerful Earth Mother; Mother Nature. She is always here for us, but are we always here for her? This card, full of beauty and Divine grace, is also about nurturing the being who nurtures us. It is about using our innate and natural healing energy to heal the ultimate Mother; Earth.

Gaia needs us as much as we need her. She gives and gives and now she is ailing; she is tired and she is weakened in places. She is forlorn, often neglected and taken for granted. How do we feel when this happens in a relationship? Sad and forgotten, abused and used up. Her energy is flagging yet she endlessly provides. When will we see that we need to change things to make a difference? When it is too late?

Our loving thoughts and prayers are an elixir of love, light and healing for our beautiful planet. Our very presence among the trees, at the beach, gazing at the beautiful flowers and sending gratitude to the ocean and it’s creatures are all healing. Putting away the distractions of technology and committing to spending time outdoors is healing. Mindfully and sparingly using our resources and giving gratitude as we partake of them is healing. Teaching our children the value of the natural world over the technological world is healing.

We are being called to help our planet survive. We are being asked to use our thoughts and prayers to raise our own vibration and the vibration of everything and everyone around us. We are capable of much more than we can tangibly see, or experience through our limited senses, yet we are being given the keys and clues to expand these senses using love and light.

Spend some time outside in silence and deep contemplation. Send love, light and healing energy all around you. Use your powerful energy for the highest good. Use the powerful energy of the cosmic forces at our disposal today to increase your own power of light and love; the eclipse, the super new moon, the equinox. Harness this energy and use it for amazing and powerful healing. See yourself radiating out bright emerald green light from your heart all the way around the planet. Green is the colour for healing, it is the colour for the Heart Chakra, it is one of the many colours of love.

Together we can heal her; as we simultaneously heal ourselves.

Our beautiful Mother Gaia.

Nurture, from the Psychic Tarot For The Heart Oracle Card deck, by John Holland

Daily Angel Oracle Card, from the Psychic Tarot For The Heart Oracle Card deck, by John Holland: Nurture

Nurture ~ Key Words: “Cherish, nourish, blossom, abundance, nature, creativity.”

“The Nurture card reminds you to ‘tend the garden.’ Relationships must be nourished in order to thrive. Count the abundant blessings of the relationships you have. Find ways to let other people know that you care for them and appreciate them. Good relationships can be taken to new levels of happiness, and faltering relationships can be revived with loving care and attention.

Equally, be sure to tend to your relationship with yourself. Nurture your soul by giving yourself the grace to be who you really are, and love yourself for it. Take a few moments every day to connect with the Divine. Gaze on the image on this card today as you meditate for five minutes or simply have an attitude of gratitude. Nurture your mind by engaging in activities that stimulate and engage. Use your creativity in some way every day. Everyone has the ability to be creative, whether you paint, write, cook, sew, sing, dance.. live! Take care of your body by maintaining  your good health or by making it healthy. Relax in a bubble bath, enjoy a good cup of tea, or take a long walk. Connecting with nature will soothe and nourish all aspects of yourself.

Remember that nurturing yourself also raises your vibration and sends a signal of love into the Universe. If you desire it, that signal will be a beacon that will bring a new and loving relationship to you.

I shower all my relationships with loving

attention and watch them blossom.”*

– John Holland

Gratitude is the first step to raising your vibration to match that which you wish to draw into your life. When you experience gratitude, it triggers a response in the Universe to send you more of the things that have made you grateful. Sometimes we take for granted the people closest to us, our family and friends. This is a perfect time to step back and see how important they are to us, and how much we appreciate their loving presence in our lives. This is not a time to weigh and measure the conditions in which they qualify for this love, it is instead a time to see the beauty in who they are; working with what they have, right here and now.

Do you have children? Have you taken some time to tell them how much you love them and how proud you are to be their parent? How blessed you feel to have them in your life? How about your parents or siblings; forgiving mistakes and inadequacies and appreciating that they came here to teach you very important karmic lessons… lessons that your soul agreed upon before coming here to the physical plane! How about your friends and relationships, can you take a moment to remove yourself from the every day drama and just feel grateful for those you have drawn into your life for many reasons, no matter how they may have hurt you in the past, knowing that when you see the lesson, they will set you free?

Your love, your gratitude, even a smile or a hug can go a long way in nurturing you and those who you love, which in turn will nurture your soul. Lead with love.

Mother Mary

Published December 8, 2013 by Dee ~ Archangel Oracle

Mother Mary

Daily Angel Oracle Card, from the Ascended Masters Oracle Card deck, by Doreen Virtue: Mother Mary

Mother Mary: “Nurture yourself.”
You have given a lot of yourself lately and now it is time to give something to yourself. You have drawn this card because you need to nurture yourself. This means taking good care of your body through sleep, detoxification, and exercise. It also means taking care of your needs as you would for others. To have more energy, abundance, peace, purpose, and everything that you desire, nurture yourself.

Additional meanings of this card: Balance giving to others with receiving for yourself. Honor your inner voice. Get some rest. Take care of your body. Nurture your inner child. Your life purpose involves helping children. Mother Mary is with you, helping and guiding you.

Mother Mary is the beloved mother of Jesus who is renowned for her purity and compassion. Mary helps children, including our inner children) and caretakers of children. You can ask Mother Mary for a Divine assignment to help children as your life’s work.”*

Whenever I have a stressful day with my kids, when things aren’t going as planned, and I know that I’m taking things too personally; I pray to Mother Mary for her Divine grace. Mother Mary is the epitome of unconditional love, sending her warm and beautiful energy around you like a safe and secure hug. She can help you to balance your emotions, help you see the beauty in your children (as they swing from the chandelier) and help you to become the patient and loving mother you aspire to be, even while listening to the litany of crazy, death defying stunts they pulled in gym class from their frazzled teacher! Call on her when you are not sure what to do in regards to a situation with your child; if you are feeling frustrated, or stumped as to how to deal with certain behaviours or situations, regardless of your child’s age. Mother Mary is non-judgemental, she will help you see the light in your situations and live from your heart.

To connect with Mother Mary is easy, you only have to ask; however, for our own connection, we can meditate on a picture of her, or if you have one, hold it close to your heart while you pray. I will often ask both Mother Mary and Jesus to be with me, guiding me through life with grace and ease; helping me to make the best decisions for everyone involved.

This card is also reminding you that if you are feeling overwhelmed by all your responsibilities, (totally to be expected during the holiday season) it’s hard to feel patience; you may need a little break from it all. A vacation would be dreamy; however, not always feasible! So how do you pull yourself out of the rat race for a little TLC? Go for a walk (if it’s not -8 like it is here right now!!), but the point would be to get outside and breathe some fresh air, even for just a few minutes. Another, warmer option is to take a candle lit Himalayan sea salt bath, meditate, do some yoga… or say no to something that you really don’t want to do and play hookie and people watch for an hour at your favourite coffee shop! Take a little “me” time, to pamper yourself a little. It doesn’t have to be really time consuming or expensive, it just has to be a break in your routine and a little selfish, in a good way!

By giving a little back to yourself, you won’t feel so overwhelmed! Your patience will return, and you will be able to let go of resentment. Plus, you know you totally deserve it! So, take a little time and go do something fun, just for you… you don’t even have to tell anyone (well, except me, if you want to share, I’d love to hear all about it!!)
