Daily Angel Oracle Card: The Akashic Field, from The Akashic Tarot, by Sharon Anne Klingler and Sandra Anne Taylor, Artwork by Cheri Polk and Emiliano Villani

The Akashic Field: “Like the The Akashic Field, the aurora borealis flows with energy and brilliance as charged particles from the sun interact with atoms in the earth’s atmosphere. The 93 million miles from the sun to the earth is nothing compared to the limitless consciousness of the Akashic Field. All information, power, energy, and experience vibrate within this realm of unending truth and possibility – and every bit of it can be yours.

Receiving this card tells you that amazing opportunities abound at this time. You can increase and accelerate the experience by opening the doors to the Akashic Records. Your life-force energy resonates with Universal synchronicity now, so you can explore the Records and receive exactly the information that you need and the energy that can help. Engage in this pursuit with a conscious focus. Write your intentions and ask for inspiration. Meditate on the Akshic Field and visualize your goals. The Universe is ready and willing to align with your heartfelt desires, and now is the time to make them happen.”

As Challenger: “The Akshic Field as challenger indicates a time of fragmentation and agitated energy within or around you. You may be going through some sort of crisis, or you may be on the receiving end of some grief or hostility, which is really throwing you for a loop! Your worry and panic is splitting your energy and causing a frantic vibration.

You need to know that the Universal consciousness of creation is still available to you. Eternal inspiration is always vibrating around you, but until you calm down and rein in the emotional intensity, you will be like a radio station tuned to the wrong frequency and picking up only static.

The Field – and the world – is filled with potential solutions to the very problems that are making you upset. So stop, take a step back, and try to get a new perspective on things. It may be advisable to look into past-life influences, for they vibrate in the Akashic Field as well.”

Akashic Force: “Close your eyes and imagine yourself entering the boundless and brilliant Akashic Field. It’s almost as if you are stepping upon the Milky Way, and all its stars roll out before you, offering their light and power. Feel this profound force igniting your dreams and lighting your way.””*

Today is the new moon, the darkest night of the month. A night of the brightest stars if the sky is clear. The day of planting seeds, of setting intentions and of acknowledging the magic and mystery at work. February is a month of no full moons, and this new moon falls right in the middle of the month. There are powerful energies at work here, use them wisely.

Again I ask, what do you wish to create? Now is the time to create it! A new moon ritual is in order. It is really important to get clear on what it is that you are desiring to manifest now. What inspires you? Why do you dream the dreams you dream? How would it feel to live the life you wish to create? Focus on these feelings now. Write them down. Make an altar. Light a candle. Meditate. Contemplate. Breathe deeply and Create.

Make a vision board, a collage or paint a picture of what you would like. Write about it in bright detail. Make a wish and know that it will be fulfilled. See yourself walking through the Akashic Field, dancing through the stars and pulling the magic down from the unmanifest realm to the physical plane through the portal of energy that is today. Know that this is the point of creation and the manifestation is to come. Expedite the process by having faith, surrendering to the process and knowing that what is yours will come to you.

And so it is

Ace Of Wands ~ Initiation

Ace Of Wands ~ Initiation, from The Enchanted Oracle, by Amy Zerner and Monte Farber

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Ace Of Wands ~ Initiation, from The Enchanted Oracle, by Amy Zerner and Monte Farber

Ace Of Wands ~ Initiation

The Dream: “The power of pure energy streaks in vivid colors behind a burning torch. Blue lightning bolts erupt to awaken one to the self’s own reality and vitality. Everything is as spontaneous as a spark igniting a blazing fire. Anything negative, anything that holds one back, can be burned away leaving a new beginning – our personal springtime. The Phoenix rises from the ashes. The flowers, above the stars at the base of the card, show this new growth with their plumes of smoke. The stars add the inspiration of the universe, where new worlds burst into being and comets race in blazing glory. This basic, unfettered impulse of life – the desire to experience the warmth of existence, consciousness, sexuality, enlightenment, and bliss – is like a club to break down the cold wall of darkness and non-being. Behind the wand is a shape resembling a club, the unifying background on all cards of The Enchanted Tarot’s suit of Wands.”

The Awakening: “In this moment, you feel alive, creative, and passionate. If you do not accept this instant when it arrives, it may be lost. Use your instincts in this time of impulse and enthusiasm. It is time to initiate new beginnings. Do not question your power to do so.”

The Enchantment: “Gather yellow and orange coloured flowers. Place them in a shallow clay bowl and set the bowl in a sunny location. When the flowers have dried, powder them with a pestle. Add a few drops of scented oil and burn the crushed flowers as an offering before one yellow candle. Repeat: “Power and passion are inspired. Fear and darkness are retired.”

Quick Read

Card Message: “You need to be instinctive, creative, and passionate. You are being initiated. Do not second guess yourself. Follow your first impressions. Make the first move. Try to see through all illusions. You may experience a breakthrough.”

Outcome: “You will be involved in the initiation of a new and exciting project. Be passionate, spontaneous, and creative. Make the first move. Go by first impressions. This is a time of new beginnings, initiations, and breakthroughs.”*

Harness the energy of the full moon today. The full moon in combination with the brand new energy of the year. And to make it even more magical, this is the first of two full moons this month. January is starting off with a powerful punch of positive energy, what we need most right now to push ahead with our plans of passion and creativity.

Yellow and orange flowers represent the Solar Plexus and Sacral chakras, where our confidence, creativity, manifestation and self expression are most powerfully held. By working to activate these chakras we help to unleash the strength we need to bring into being our reality in the way that we have previously only dared dream. It is time to actualize our vision, our intention. It is time to make lasting change and step into the tranformation we have been craving.

This is a window of opportunity and must be treated as such. Just as the moon is only truly full for the night, the window will close again too. Refuse to stay in the rut that makes you miserable. Change what needs changing and do it now. Trust that this is the push that you need in the direction that your heart has been pulling you but you have been too fearful to go. Take the plunge, body, mind and spirit.

Don’t hold back now.

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Queen Of Stones ~ Bear, from The Wild Wood Tarot Card deck, by Mark Ryan and John Matthews, artwork by Will Worthington

Queen Of Stones ~ Bear
Position on the Wheel: “Approaching Midwinter”

Meaning Of The Card: “The ancient ancestor of the modern bear, the cave bear hibernated in caves during the cold northern winter. Neanderthals buried their skulls here and even shared their caves during some periods. Often linked to Arthurian legend, the Bear is a symbol of the power and protection of the land.
Reading Points: “Richness and plenty surround you. Your bounty and welcoming nature make you popular with all. Many depend on you, and your natural sensuality makes you powerfully attractive to others. Pragmatism and generosity open doorways at every point.”

As A Person In Your Life: “This is a practical and welcoming person. She or he delights in prosperity and luxury, though she can also have a natural and wholesome simplicity. As a friend, she is loyal, keeping faith with you and being frank about issues needing improvement. She may be a treasurer or a curator of tradition, but she can also be a hoarder or a squanderer, as well as a demanding or timid individual.”

As An Aspect Or Process: “Learning to manage things wisely, preserve things of value, make things better, provide amenities. Be careful of wasting resources.”

As An Event or Happening: “If you practice a craft or design, be expansive and liberal. A group or community. Putting the family first. Right or wrong. Refusing to nurture.”

Questions: “How can you best promote well-being here? Where can you make space to care for yourself or others? What needs to be preserved?”

Tracks and Pathways: “Power and generosity. Punctiliousness. A demanding individual. Confidence. Frankness. Assurance. Prosperity.”*

~ By Mark Ryan and John Matthews

This is a message of power, strength, and using your inner resources to your highest advantage in the most honourable way. It is a card of fearlessness, confidence and self-worth. It is no coincidence that the background is full of gold and orange. Solar Plexus and Sacral Chakras:  self-belief, creativity, innate skills and talents are all at play here. Also the dawn, new beginnings, opportunities and fresh starts. Be the confident mama bear. Know your worth and refuse to back down. Be empowered. Believe in yourself. And only good will come of it.

It is important that as you stand in your power, you hold the intention that your actions and words be for the absolute highest integrity. This is not about power trips or being more powerful than another. If you are more powerful than another, you will be the mama bear and protect and nurture them as needed, then set them free to fend for themselves with the knowledge you have shared. You are an inspiration, a mentor and a positive example to those around you. Share what you have and know that the Universe will send more.

You are magnetic now, and will attract the right people and opportunities to you as you set your intention to be for the Highest Good. Others will be drawn to you for your authenticity, your abilities and your inner strength. There is sensuality at play here too. You are most attractive when you are just being you. Know this and embody it fully. Release the need to be anything other than exactly who you are.

The Standing Stone

The Standing Stone, from the Green Witch Tarot, by Ann Moura, Artwork by Kiri Ostergaard Leonard

Daily Angel Oracle Card: The Standing Stone, from the Green Witch Tarot, by Ann Moura, Artwork by Kiri Ostergaard Leonard

The Standing Stone: “Standing stones are symbols of authority, boundary markers, and monuments. As objects of power and balance, unyielding and strong, blending earth and spirit energies, they once formed a meeting place where people in a community could decide issues and settle individual disputes before the gods. In this circle of smaller stones, smaller stones, a community council could sit in arbitration or discern justice, hearing evidence and rendering a decision. The tradition of engraving stone obelisks and tablets with the laws of a society relates to the power of the megalith and here symbolizes concepts of Craft practices. The stone has been carved with the triquetra symbol of the Triple Goddess, the scales upon which the facts of a matter can be weighed for a balanced and impartial decision, the Craft ethic of ‘harm none’ for fairness and compassion, and the labyrinth signifying the path one must follow to reach the heart of the matter and find the truth. The path leading to this circle of stones passes through the dark forest, and yet the light of truth shines through the trees to illuminate the stone and ensure that the truth shines through the trees to illuminate the stone and ensure that the truth of the matter will be revealed.

Objectivity is emphasized when this card appears in a reading. The Standing Stone shows that one has gathered information and fairly evaluated a matter, and may therefore trust the decision reached. When paired with the King of Swords, this card indicates a legal matter or court decision. The level of success in this issue may be revealed by the surrounding cards.

The shadowy forest shows that nature also has a hand in justice, for while there is law, there is also the law of returns, karma, and retribution achieved by the actions of others who carry out the decision and return the scales to balance. The small grassy clearing is sprinkled with daisies, for truth, authority, harmony, and communication. While a spider, a symbol of power, wisdom, and balance, weaves a web between two of the stone circle stones.”

Meaning Of The Card: “Objectivity, Impartiality, Trust Your Own Decision, Fairness, Balance, Truth, Virtue, Honor, Law, Prevail In A Legal Matter, Equilibrium, An Agent Working On Your Behalf, Advice, Consideration, Conscience, Impartiality, Equity, Reward, Verdict, Retribution For The Aggrieved, Harmony, Natural Law.”

As Challenger: “Misrepresentation, Bias, Intolerance, Legal Action Delayed, Complications, Gossip, False Accusation, Tedious Bureaucracy, Cloudy Perception.”

Prompt Words: “Objectivity, Fairness, Trust Your Own Decisions.”*

~ By Ann Moura

This is a message of facts and of the laws of Nature. There is no getting caught up in emotion here, of succumbing to the victim mentality or of drowning in our sorrows. There is also no room for falsity, bravado or deception. This is a message of truth.

Justice will be served. The equation is karmic, mathematical. The jury cannot be swayed with tears or false promises.

Boundaries are in place. Intimidation is not possible. Truth is critical, vital.

Make your decisions based on the Highest Good and they simply cannot go wrong. Create from a heart centered place, but not emotional. There is no need for retribution, only for fairness and equality here.

The only way out of a current dilemma is through the truth. The mind plays tricks but the heart will lead you with honour.

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Six of Anthames, from the Green Witch Tarot, by Ann Moura, artwork by Kiri Ostergaard Leonard

Six of Anthames: “The card shows steady progress is being made and a difficult time is passing. The person is moving toward smoother waters, leaving worries and upsets behind. There is a sense of peace of mind and tranquility, yet there could be a feeling of sadness that things did not work out as originally anticipated. This may be especially true if a physical move or change of employment is indicated in the reading. This card can also represent a journey with positive results for alleviating current problems, worries, or dangers. Because the change may be imposed due to circumstances beyond one’s control, there may be a sense of loss, of having to leave something behind. Nevertheless, this is a positive and ultimately soothing transition, whether physical, material, c=emotional, or intellectual. Things will improve, and soon there will be a feeling of relief and hope for a better future. Conflicts are being left behind and one is moving to calmer waters. Victory over adversity is handled with dignity, ad may stem from having made a decision with calm consideration. A difficult time is passing and troubles are being left behind. There is a much needed break from troubles, and time alone or with close family or friends to sort things out and make plans for future goals. This is also a card of vacations and travels, possibly overseas.

Mustard, for travel, money protection and strength, grows on the riverbank. The horse, a symbol of travel, cooperation, power, and renewal, stands beside the traveler.

Meaning of Six of Anthames Card: “Steady progress, improvement, overcoming difficulties, sorting things out, troubles left behind, a tranquil journey, success after worries and anxieties, new opportunities, sacrifices bringing success.”

Six of Anthames as Challenger: “Turmoil, displacement, delays, unable to get away from you problems, need to handle a turbulent situation.”

Prompt Words: “Steady progress, leaving your troubles behind.”*

~ by Ann Moura

There is definitely a feeling in the image of this card of crossing over the waters and coming into greener pastures. Water symbolizes feelings and emotional states of mind; when we cross the waters, we have moved through the emotions and can see clearly. The shore ahead is well within reach; we can be confident that joy awaits us, as does a new found confidence symbolized by the yellow colour of the flowers. The look of the shore behind us is wintery and sparse; uninviting, the grass is dry and the tree has lost its leaves. The new shore we are coming to is lush with greenery and flowers, which tells us also that abundance and prosperity is available to us in the very near future. These are all very auspicious signs!

The journey is over, and we are ready to start something new. Notice that the traveler looks ahead, and not behind him. The past is gone and we are looking ahead at what is in store for us. He is also traveling with only himself and his horse. This is not an adventure so much of material gain, as one of the Soul; the tools you require on this journey are all within you, not outside of you. The horse is a symbol of change, freedom, strength, joy and power. The hand of the traveler on the back of the horse is a sign that he is well connected to all of these aspects of himself.

Take this message as a sign that you are on the right path; that your journey is about to get a little wilder, a little more spirited and way more exciting; yet there will be confidence, capability, abundance and prosperity. So basically, all of the bases are covered.

Step into the energy of the eclipse and the new moon tomorrow with grace and ease as you start a brand new magical chapter of your life.

And so it is

Cernunnos, from the Gods and Titans Oracle Card deck, by Stacey Demarco and Jimmy Manton

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Cernunnos, from the Gods and Titans Oracle Card deck, by Stacey Demarco and Jimmy Manton

Cernunnos: “Shape Shifting”

“Transition and change are flowing through you. Relax and know that you have the power to be what you want to be!”

“While most people think of Cernunnos as a god of the Celts, the truth is, this energy is far, far older. Prehistoric man covered himself with the skins, hair, feathers, and bones of the animals he hunted, and he danced around his fire. As the shadows played against the cave walls, man changed into the very animals he targeted.

Shape shifting is a way of gathering power and information. This is one of the earliest principles of magic: like attracts like. If  you want to catch a stag, be a stag in the ritual dance. Feel the stag, think like the stag, be one with the stag, and then you can better connect with the stag should you need to hunt it. By honoring this father hunter, the horned one, ancient peoples felt they would be better fed and better prepared – and so, more successful.

Cernunnos is often depicted as half human and half stag, although sometimes he is simply depicted as a man with  glorious set of antlers that seem to pierce the sky. His energy is vital, flowing, fertile, and connecting.

Today he is a symbol of the purest masculine energy, untainted and fully connected with his strength and wildness. For this reason, he is extremely popular with the modern pagan and witchcraft communities and is a patron of those who work on facilitating change as environmental activists. You can call upon his shape shifting energy when you wish to transition from one identity to another or to shift back into your most authentic self. If you feel like you have changed recently in ways that do not feel right to you or in ways that feel untrue to your nature, it is time to shift back with Cernunnos.

Shadow Side: “The wilderness demands respect. Many survival shows demonstrate how to conquer nature rather than work with and enrich the environment for the greatest good. If you only use the gifts of the earth, sky and sea for sport, without ever giving back to those same elements, you may need to rethink your attitude.

A balanced masculine nature is one of deep protective connection with the earth and its animals, rather than dominion over them. Today’s hunters could do well to follow a more honorable path than the cold process of taking life. Think also how Cernunnos would view the common practices of factory farming, for example, and reassess what you eat.

Symbols: “Antlers, stag, snake, trees”

Invocation: “Go outside, preferably somewhere green, even overgrown. Take off your shoes. Lie down or stand upon the earth. Now imagine growing roots from your bodyinto the earth and picture Cernunnos, powerful and pure, standing with you.

In the center of all things is you, Cernunnos,
Great god of the earth, of the sky, of the air,
Of the forest, of things green and wet and wild!
Connect me to who I am.
Teach me how to delve down, like the roots of a tree into
the soft earth,
And find the center myself.
Connect me to what I am to be,
Mentor me to shift my shape
Easily, quickly, certainly.
Balance me,
Give me depth, give me lightness.
Guide me to my true home;
Grow me into my best self.
May I honor you in word and deed.
May it begin from here!”*

~ By Stacey Demarco

The Divine Feminine is rising, and the Divine Masculine is coming forward to meet Her. Balance. Equality. Justice. Deep, divine connection. We are both powerful in our own rights. We both have something profoundly sacred to offer. What has been tainted will be purified. What has been unbalanced for far too long will come back into alignment. It will take work on both sides, leveling the scales so that we can again see eye to eye. In these times we must work together. We must use our power wisely.

Together we are so much more powerful. Twin flames are reuniting to create much needed change through deep healing of old wounds, those on a personal and also on the collective level. When we see ourselves as Divine, and see the magic in the other half, the healing begins. Work from the inside out, and open your hearts wide. Shift from the old into the new and meet your partner as a reflection of your own true divine self.

Heal and be healed.
