Ten Of Cups, from the Tarot Of The Hidden Realm Oracle Card deck, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Ten Of Cups, from the Tarot Of The Hidden Realm Oracle Card deck, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Ten Of Cups: “The spiky scent of lavender lightly veils the deeper, sweeter notes of rose. Their essence is carried into the air on spirals of steam. Underneath, the earthy, rich smell of frankincense fills in the empty space. The air is permeated with peace and love and promise.

Calling on the spirits of the plants, which she harvested with her own devoted hands and blended together in water gathered from her own blessed spring, she invites them into her life. She sings their songs, and as they release their magic, they sing with her. In that moment, powerful magic is present.

Old, even for a faery, she has gathered deep wisdom and much experience and thus can weave her spell perfectly. She knows what is important, what is the best use of these gifts of nature. With practiced motions, she moves her hands over the steam, deftly mingling the energies to summon precious blessings for her loved ones; a peaceful, compassionate countenance; deep, intimate connections with others; and commitment and honor.”

Divinatory Meaning For Ten Of Cups: “Life is full of moments of love and connection. Some are fleeting. Some stand the test of time. Some are effervescent. Some are deep and rich. When they mingle together in one life, the variety creates a full existence, a complex tapestry that is extraordinarily beautiful. The Ten Of Cups promises such an experience. But it is not just a card of receiving. It is also a card of wisdom and experience, bringing with it the knowledge and ability to nurture such relationships in your life and in the lives of those around you. This card marks a time to create these ties as well as to celebrate them.”*

~ By Julia Jeffrey

This card represents a coming together. It also tells of the tiny moments that make up an abundant life; those lazy afternoons spent with family in the back yard, or a walk with a friend. It is a reminder that there is so much to be grateful for that is untangible, fleeting and precious. A smile or hug from a loved one. A cup of tea and a heart to heart visit. Holding hands. Gazing into someone’s eyes. Admiring the deep blue of the sky or the sea. Feeling your toes in the sand or the wind in your hair. Doing what you love to do, mindfully, without a rush.

Feeling love in your heart, filling it right up to the brim and letting it spill over.

That is abundance.

Connect today. Make it a little more special. Reach out. Get outside. Surprise someone with a call or a hug or a smile. Give of yourself and pay it forward.

Six of Pentacles

Published May 18, 2017 by Dee ~ Archangel Oracle

Six of Pentacles, from the Tarot of the Hidden Realm, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Six of Pentacles, from the Tarot of the Hidden Realm, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Six of Pentacles: “This is their favorite time of year, and what better way to spend this gift of a day than with their favorite tree? The playful breeze of warm air with a whisper of coolness lifts a curl that came loose from its ribbon. sunlight dances among glossy green leaves and shiny red fruit. The scent of sweet ripeness perfumes the air. She picks a perfectly ripe apple. Even just holding it in her hand, she can practically taste the crisp juiciness hiding just under that russet skin.

No, not yet, her soul sister reminds her. It is their tradition to gather the first basket of apples together. They spread a cloth on the ground and remember all the blessings of the past year. When they finish, they share the cores with whatever woodland creatures have decided to join them. Then they make their plans! Besides simply eating many of the apples, what else will they do? Cakes and pies and butters flavored with spices will become gifts for kin; this is their favorite way of sharing their love.”

Divintory Meaning Of The Six of Pentacles: “Although it seems counterintuitive, one way to increase abundance is to share what you have. The energy of earth, when mixed with the caring and generous energy of water, always seems to expand. Whether this actually creates more or just makes what you have better is unclear, but either way, it is a good thing. The Six of Pentacles lets you know that there really is plenty to go around. If you have some to spare, share it. If you need a little extra, someone nearby is sure to oblige. Any needs or perceived needs are just temporary, for your situation is a harmonious blend of need an d abundance. Whether giving or receiving, everyone involved gets to feel good.”*

~ By Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Here we are encouraged to share what we have in order to create more for all. We were asked to use all of our resources yesterday, all of our magic, all of our prayers to help others and the Earth herself. This is more of the same, but on a more individual and personal level. What do you have enough of to share?

One of our most valuable resources is our time… and of course equally would be our undivided attention. Who could benefit from more time with you, one on one? Who would be uplifted by your presence or healed by your support? Sometimes we only need to lend an ear. Sometimes we can pray for someone who needs it. Sometimes someone just needs to be seen, acknowledged, respected and accepted; we can do that for someone in need.

If you have more to give than this, even better! Volunteer; purchase items and donate them to a shelter, school, or person in need. Teach someone something that they can take with them, something that will improve their quality of life over time.

Give what you can and give with no agenda or expectation. Know that just by giving you will get back. Maybe not this moment, but it will all catch up with you. When you need it most.

Nine Of Swords

Published March 29, 2017 by Dee ~ Archangel Oracle

Nine Of Swords, from the Tarot of the Hidden Realm, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Nine Of Swords, from the Tarot of the Hidden Realm, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

“She has been running and fighting for so long that she has forgotten what it is like to be still. Even though it is over, she cannot relax. She crouches, ready to spring into action if necessary. How long has she been here? She wonders. Long enough that her body is no longer racked with heaving gasps, her lungs struggling to take in more air. Her muscles, while still tense, are no longer quivering.

As her heart and mind slow, she feels the night air warm on her skin, still damp from sweat. The night is passing; soon it will be dawn. Now that exhaustion is starting to fall from her, she faces a decision: what to do next. It seems so simple, so why does it feel like another battle? What is she afraid of? After all she has seen, all she has lived through, deciding what to do now that it is over should be easy.

An owl lands nearby, apparently unafraid, feathers dropping from his silent wings. She watches him without moving even as downy soft whispers brush her skin, falling like the tears she cannot yet release. He stays with her until all that she has seen, all that she has lived through, is relieve through the eyes of compassion and wisdom.”

Divinatory Meaning of the Nine Of Swords Card: “It has been a tough time. You have faced some challenges and made some difficult decisions. The good news is that the Nine Of Swords indicates that this phase is at an end, or very nearly so. Your current task is to wrap things up. Some people make the mistake of reliving such times over and over, watching the tapes with regret, bitterness, or anger. In order to move forward, you need to relive the situation one last time through the eyes of compassion… for yourself and for everyone else involved. Learn the lessons embedded in the experience. Recognize the wisdom gained. Then you can truly move forward.”*

~ By Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

This card made my heart ache as I read its message. It resonates so deeply. I understand the feeling so well; that of struggling for so long that once you realize that the struggle is over, you are like a deer in the headlights, unable to decide which way to go. Longing for freedom and then once getting it, not knowing what to do with it all. Trading one set of issues for another. Focusing so much energy on a person or problem, that once they walk away you forget who you were without that stress.

It takes time. It takes healing. It takes compassion. To move forward into the new. At first you think it will be so easy, that you will grasp every opportunity, that you will be joyful and appreciate your freedom. But yet there you are, stuck, frozen, unsure of what to do next.

All you can do is breathe. Trust. Do a whole lot of yoga! And know that this too, shall pass. And that you will get stronger. And you will start walking through those open doors. And that everything is as it should be.

Don’t be so hard on yourself, you got this far. There was a time when where you are now may not have even seemed possible. But it is. You are here. And it is going to get so much better.

Knight Of Wands, from the Tarot Of The Hidden Realm, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Knight Of Wands, from the Tarot Of The Hidden Realm, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Knight Of Wands: “This is the still moment before action. Hidden in the underbrush, this hunter is all but invisible. The angels of his body and the richness of his colouring camouflage him from all but the keenest of eyes. Holding still is the most difficult thing for him to do. A closer look reveals that his every cell is in motion, vibrating with energy so fast that he seems motionless. Humans would assume that, behind intently focused eyes, his mind is moving through thousands of possibilities, assessing and predicting what will happen next, but they would be wrong.

Inspired by primal instinct or perhaps divinely guided intuition, he changes from observer to hunter. In one swift, elegant gesture, an arrow flies through the air, hits its mark, and changes life to death. There is not even time for one last breath. What happens after, the giving of thanks and ritual ceremony of a departed noble soul, takes longer. Hunting, after all, is a complicated dance between prey and predator, between life and death. Sometimes the tempo is fast, and other times, slow and reverent.”

Divinatory Meaning Of This Card: “This Knight is motivated by two things: passion and energy. He likes to act quickly and is able to do so because he his certain of his decisions. This confidence is admirable and made all the stronger because he lives very much in the moment. Without worrying about what has happened or what might happen, he seems to have a disregard for consequences. But he decides based on what feels right in his heart in that moment. He cannot change that by imagining some unpleasant consequences. To change action based on the future is, to him, cowardice. Whatever is right must be done, and it best be done quickly.”*

~ By Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

This is a message of faith in action… it is about moving forward fearlessly, following your heart and using your instinct and intuition to do so. These are powerful tools, and they are much more accurate than relying on our ego driven minds. We humans love to weigh our options, count the “pros and cons” and try to use past experience to project the future outcome. We love to entertain thoughts of worst case scenarios. But right now, that mindset will do nothing but set us back; we will miss our opportunity while we ponder. Why sit on the fence for way too long, wasting precious time?

This is a time for precise action –  think Katniss Everdeen and her bow and arrow. When you are using a bow and arrow, you don’t stand there for hours holding the arrow at the ready, debating whether to fire; you find your mark and loose it, knowing that you can trust your aim. You rely on your instincts to show you the most direct path and you follow it.

Get out of your head and into your heart. Yes things are looking grave out there right now, but we are more powerful than ever. Use your power wisely, do not give in to the dark forces that are trying to hold us down through illusions of fear and hatred. Make a difference in each moment. Meet hate with love. Meet fear with love. Meet everyone and everything with love. Wield it like a powerful sword and defeat the darkness with the absolute conviction that Light is much more powerful.

Because it is.

Seven Of Swords, from the Tarot Of The Hidden Realm, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Seven Of Swords, from the Tarot Of The Hidden Realm, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Seven Of Swords: “Some say the future is writ in the stars. He searches the heavens as earnestly as he searches his heart.

Although young, he is an exceptional warrior – skilled in the art of combat, willing to fight for his ideals, and dedicated to the truth as he understands it. He is an enigma, always perparing for battle should it be necessary and always praying for peace. Even among the fey, truth can be cloudy, and motivations and desires can clash. It the shadowy light of the moon, through the dark night before a battle, a true warrior examines his heart. He asks the Divine to guide him and to purify his thoughts so that he may behave with honour.

The sky does not give up her secrets very easily tonight. Only seven stars, and he cannot make out any prognostication in them. The future is not his to know. This guidance only is given to him: Know yourself and what you believe in. Understand what you are willing to fight for, willing to die for. This wisdom will guide your steps, inform your actions, and shape your destiny. What the future holds does not matter, should not matter. Your actions should be decided by what you value, whatever the outcome.

He inhales the night air, breathing in the starlight. He exhales his gratitude. his answers were indeed found in the stars.

Divinatory Meaning Of This Card: “Living up to one’s ideals is not always easy, especially when those ideals are controversial. Sometimes those around us do not agree with our decisions or values. Sometimes they disagree because we are making a mistake. When you are facing such a moment, do not focus on what others think will happen. This is a moment when your ideals – what you hold dear – take precedence. The best advice is to first make very sure you are clear about your beliefs. Check your heart and make sure your intentions are pure. If you sincerely ask for guidance, the Divine usually provides a sign letting you know you are on the right track. Once that is settled, move forward with confidence.”*

It is time again to purify your intention. Look deeply within. Are you standing in your truth? Is what you are aiming for heart centered? Have you intended that what you wish to manifest into this reality be for the Highest Good of All? When you know that you are absolutely honest with yourself, and you are following your heart, you can move forward fearlessly. Yes, others may wish to control you or the outcome. Yes, it may create fear in you and in those close to you to see you change things in your life. But only you will know what your heart whispers to you. Only you know what makes your heart sing.

Intend harmony, joy, peace, and abundance. Intend Love. Ask for signs that you are on the right path and ask your guides to send you clear guidance on your journey. Know that you are protected and supported by the Universe, and that you have everything you need to make these dreams come true.

And so it is, Spiritual Warrior, you got this

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Ace Of Pentacles, from the Tarot Of The Hidden Realm, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Ace Of Pentacles: “Dry leaves rustle, rattling like old bones, a soft sound that warms the chill night air. A pointy nose and alert eyes emerge from the ground cover, sniffing, searching. Ever close to the ground, Hedgehog is also close to mama Gaia and is sensitive to small changes in her environment as well as broader ones. She knows what to expect, as well as what signals warn of the unexpected. The leaves crunching beneath her tiny paws, she knows, will eventually become soil, ready to nourish new seeds. This is the cycle of life, writ large in the transformation of acorn to oak to soil, and writ small in the journey from egg to cocoon to butterfly.

The inhabitants of the Hidden Realm admire Hedgehog for her ability to take care of herself. For them, because she makes the most of all the gifts given to her, she symbolizes protection, grace under attack, intelligence, and resourcefulness. Hidden Realm folk are amused by such a small, comical creature having such powerful abilities.”

Divinatory Meaning Of This Card: “This card holds a very special gift. there is a human saying about not despising small beginnings. Hedgehog, the Ace of Pentacles, shows up to remind you of that very saying. In fact, not only should you not despise this small beginning, but you should also treasure it, for you do not even realize the possibilities that have just been presented to you. Right now, in this moment, listen carefully and hear the rustle of leaves. Watch for the emerging bundle of goodness. Recognize its value no matter how silly or sweet or awkward. Within that small seed is the potential to achieve amazing things. What you do with it is up to you.”*

by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Yesterday we were asked to renew our faith, in ourselves, in the Divine and in our Life’s journey. Today were are receiving the message that a gift is on it’s way to us. Be aware that this gift may come in a tiny package. It may not be what we expected. We may even believe that it is of no use to us, or that we should hold our for something bigger and better. Yet this gift is a doorway, should we choose to open it.

We have all heard the saying “good things come in small packages.” This is one of those instances, and the small package may in fact be just a small shift in your perception. It may also be a small step forward in the right direction by you towards what you wish to create. But however this gift comes to you, do not ignore or bypass it. Accept it with an open mind, and and open heart. Send gratitude and fill your heart with love as you accept it. Doing so will activate and amplify the magnetic effect of the Law Of Attraction, bringing you more amazing people, opportunities and abundance into your life.

Eight Of Cups

Eight Of Cups, from the Tarot Of The Hidden Realm, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Eight Of Cups, from the Tarot Of The Hidden Realm, by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

Eight Of Cups: “The moon’s light is reduced to a soft glow, her outline obscured by the thick, billowing clouds blown about by the strong wind. Chaos reigns in the sky, in the air, and in his heart. His thoughts are tossed about, and he feels unsettled and uncertain, as if he is being pushed and pulled in every direction at once. If only the wind would stop; if only he could clearly see the moon. Then he would know which way to go.

But he does not need to see his beloved moon, for even though she is hidden from sight, he is connected to her energy. He wears her stone, a moonstone, near his heart. It is only the wind, only his thoughts, that are getting in the way. And so he settles himself before his stone basin and contemplates the water within, searching for his sign. He runs his hands lovingly around the outside of the basin, which is carved with images of the moon in all her incarnations, reminding him that by her very nature, she is changeable. Gazing into the water, he sees himself, his life, ever in motion, like the moon. He sees his heart, beating rhythmically, always true, resonating with the moon, together creating a strange and beautiful dance of steadiness and motion. Deep within, he finds his answer, and thus guided, he takes the first steps into darkness, not knowing his destination but trusting his inner direction.”

Divinatory Meaning: “There are times in life when everything seems fine. Life is stable and you should, logically, be quite content. There is nothing wrong, nothing that you can put your finger on. Yet in your heart, you know something is missing. The Eight Of Cups marks such a time. It tells you to quiet your thoughts, for you will not puzzle this out logically. The call comes from your heart. It is telling you that it is not satisfied, that it yearns for something else. It pushes and pokes you, increasing the unsettled feeling until you pay attention. Under the rational argument that everything is fine, that nothing needs to change, you will find the truth. You will know what needs changing and in which direction to go to begin your quest. You may not know your destination, but you will know how to begin.”*

~by Julia Jeffrey and Barbara Moore

One of the functions of the Soul is to nudge us towards our true life path. Our Soul, or Higher Self communicates with us through our intuition and the longings and whisperings of our hearts. Our Soul lets us know when something is missing, or when we are going in the wrong direction. The key is… are we listening?

What is missing cannot be found outside of us, it can only be found within. It is a journey. One that starts with an awakening. A transformation and a shift. Our Souls use this feeling to shake us awake. It uses this to beckon us inwards.

Can you hear it? Are you listening?
