Innocence: “The simplest gestures of love and respect can prevail over even the toughest of hearts.”

“In this card, the lightness of the aura around Ganesha portrays innocence. By being soft and still, you give the Universe the opportunity to assist you in creating your desires. Be willing to release any cynicism. Have you noticed yourself becoming increasingly critical over time? As you gather more experience, sometimes the familiarity of a situation can cause you to lose touch with your innocence. It is only natural to expect similar outcomes as you have had in the past when similar situations present themselves in your life. Do not forget though, that change and transformation are always possible.

You are being offered an opportunity to approach this situation with renewed peace. If you are making changes to your job situation, relationships or even the direction of your life path, approach this with a sense of exploration and the excited curiosity of a child. Be willing to let go of the preconceived ideas that have developed over tine in your mind. Allow your heart to be centered and in a place of peace.

Every day call on Ganesha for guidance to renew your mind and refresh your thinking. With Ganesha’s assistance, contemplate each situation you encounter. Ask Ganesha to support you. Remember to pray for freedom from fears, worries and unhealthy obsessions that might control your thoughts and harm your soul.

Be accountable for your decisions and their results. Just knowing that you are responsible will assist you to take decisions seriously and with greater consideration.”*

Yesterday we were talking about not comparing yourself to others, and to let go of seeing others as above us, but rather just seeing that they are on different paths than we have chosen. Today, we have a message about healing criticism of others, self-criticism and all judgment. We will use a combination of Love and acceptance as the magical healing elixir.

At the root of it, we are releasing anger and fear and practicing the art of ‘allowing.’ Allowing means that we hold space for others to live their lives however they decide to do, while we focus on living our own lives as we choose to. We hold the intention to live at a high vibration; and make choices based on peace and harmony, with outcomes for the Highest Good of All.

This does not mean that we compromise, in fact it is quite the opposite. We stand strong in our own truth; we remove our masks and be our pure, authentic and innocent selves; open to Unconditional Love and Divine Guidance from the Universe. We drop out of the games and the drama, we take action in creating our dreams and we are open to creating a brand new collective reality; one of healing, Love, peace, balance harmony and equality.

Be especially aware of your reactions to others at this time. Know that you are never responsible or able to control the actions or words of another – only your reaction to it. When you want to criticize, instead send Love. When you want to be right; instead send love. When you want to rage… take a few deep breaths and focus instead on Love. Meet drama with Love.

Slowly, one by one, change your judgments, your criticisms, your angers and your hurts to Love.

For the Highest Good of All and So It Is

Nurture: “Focus on creating a calm and balanced life for yourself.”

“Ganesha asks you to maintain a compassionate, nurturing, realistic and down to earth attitude when it comes to collaborating with others and your present conditions. You can benefit from being more resourceful and practical. This is a time of slowing down and biding your time and resources. Deal with any issues as they arise, and brainstorm practical and easy solutions that will fix the problem with minimal drama.

Be careful of giving too much, without regard for your own needs. If you have been feeling exhausted or have been prone to illness, you are invited to stop doing so much for others and do more for you at this time. Do not seek empowerment by doing for others from a place of needing acknowledgment. Empower yourself by nurturing yourself and then, from a healthy place, help others.

Learn to nurture and to create occasions for others to grow by offering a safe, accommodating energy. This energy is the energy of the heart chakra. As your life comes more into alignment with your soul purpose, you bring this nurturing and unconditional love beyond your immediate surroundings and out into the world.

The female figure in this card is Ganesha’s mother, Parvati. She represents a strong female figure in your life that you may look to for extra support and guidance. this could be any female role model, friend or acquaintance that you find yourself drawn to at this time. Alternatively, Parvati can represent a part of yourself, especially when much of your time is spent focusing on the nurturing and caring of others.”*

If your energies are feeling scattered, or you are feeling stretched in too many directions at once, it is time to pull back in. We take on too much, we look after every one else’s needs and put them before our own, and we end up feeling exhausted and depleted. Sometimes we do this because we are trying to avoid conflict, sometimes we are seeking approval through making others happy, and sometimes we have just taken on too much responsibility. Maybe we are using looking after others as a distraction so that we don’t have the time or energy to deal with what is going on in our own lives. Maybe we are using it to heal guilt or shame. And maybe we simply find ourselves in that certain stage of life at this time… having young children, aging parents or a new business that just takes up all our time and energy.

If possible, take some time for self-care. Take a break from all that you have going on in your life; and from the worries and stress these people or issues may create. When we take a little break, it not only assists us physically and emotionally to recharge our batteries and build up our strength and energy stores; it also helps us to shift our perspective.

Seek the counsil of a a “wise elder,” someone who has been through what you have been through, and can either help you or give you some sage advice. Accept help when it is offered, and do not feel guilty for needing assistance. Do some research and see if you can find a simple solution to streamline any challenges without allowing them to throw you too far off track.

Ganesha is the breaker of obstacles and he is here to assist us in finding a simple, accessible path on our journey. Ask him to stay by your side and show the way.

Daily Angel card: Belonging ~ Ganesha, from the Whispers Of Ganesha Oracle Card deck, by Angela Hartfield, artwork by Ekaterina Golovanova

Belonging ~ Ganesha: “Learn to find security from within”

“In this card, Ganesha uses the mouse as his vehicle, which signifies his triumph over the ego. In Hindu mythology, the mouse symbolizes the ego, for the ego can eat away at all that is good and decent in a person.

Belonging seeks to solve the predicament of the ego’s own perceived separation. Since the ego has no conscious memory of its connection to others and to Source, you experience a ‘need’ to get out of seclusion by bonding with the people around you. These people can be your family, peer groups, or your community.

The ego is neither good nor bad, but simply a necessary part of you in this existence. The ego can manifest inclinations that are either more positive or more negative in nature. There are many positive aspect to belonging: you develop your ability to love, connect, bond, share, and care for others. You see yourself more clearly through the mirror of relationship. It is important in belonging that you not try to seek approval through others.

Through this card, Ganesha is here to help you focus on the positive feelings from being a part of a community. Learn to trust, ask for help, and to rely on others.”*

~ By Angela Hartfield

Again we are asked to strengthen our connection to community, as well as extending that same connection to others. We do this without expectation or hope of approval. We do it from the heart, from gratitude and from kindness and generosity. We find fulfillment in being a part of an intricate network of communication and sharing with others of like mind, on equal ground. We must get past the old ways of hierarchy, of people climbing their way to the top… of competition and segregation and exclusion.

We are the New Earth. We are a global community. We can be here for each other. Support each other. Love each  other and heal each other. We can build something so strong, so wise and so amazing that it will topple the old system. We can create a brand new way of living, of being in the world. Of creating a world of safety, of security, of abundance. This is healing.

This is huge, this call to community. It is absolutely essential that we learn to celebrate our differences and unique qualities while accepting the peaceful belief systems, cultures, religions, rituals and appearances of others. We don’t need to decide who is right and who is wrong, we only need to learn to accept them as they are, and have faith that they will find their way in the same way that we are finding our own.

If we can find a way to work together, this is what will create peace and ascension. This is what will heal us and heal the planet. But we must put away the lack mentality, the victim mentality, the aggressor mentality. We must create a circle, equal on all sides, not a pyramid where a select few stand on top of the masses.

Embrace your victory over the ego, which will allow you to truly belong.
