Daily Angel Oracle Card: Harmony, from the Whispers Of Lord Ganesha, By Angela Hartfield, artwork by Ekaterina Golovanova

Harmony: “You deserve to feel good about your existence.”

“The card is symbolic of your personal beliefs and what will bring you happiness in your life. Ganesha is asking you to remember to radiate warmth and energy. Take some time to reflect on your personal values and attitudes. What do you believe will bring you the outcomes you are longing for in order to have a complete and happy life?

The colour orange can refer to a period of socializing, activity and new adventures. Orange is the colour of the Sacral Chakra and is associated with the sexual organs and reproductive systems. It can symbolize happiness and love. We store our feelings, emotions, pleasure, sensuality, intimacy and connection in this domain. How deserving do you feel? When you feel that you deserve good, you treat yourself well and require that others treat you well also. When the Sacral Chakra is clear and the energy is in balance, you are friendly, compassionate, and empathic with a concern for other. You will experience a very strong sense of belonging.

Feel good about your life. Enjoy time with friends and do what is necessary to bring yourself in alignment with what you want from the relationships in your life.”*

~ By Angela Hartfield

There is an essence of sacred sexuality here, of sensuality. Luxuriating in the senses. Being in the moment. Making connections that matter. Lasting friendships, deep relationships. Delving into the soul of another. It may be romantic, it may be platonic, but there is intimacy, truth, authenticity. All the things that matter most. Bonds are formed or strengthened. Acceptance, allowance, and Unconditional Love is key.

There is creativity here, manifestation. Co-creation. Making of things that are important; vital to the future. Building something structurally sound, a foundation that will hold steady under pressure. Harmony between body, mind and spirit. A meeting of the minds.

Self-belief, balanced self-worth. Confidence, self-expression. Creativity. Anything is possible.

Wear orange if you can get away with it. Hold, wear or place under your pillow a carnelian crystal. Lie down and place it a couple of inches below your belly button on your abdomen and let it work its magic, clearing, empowering. Meditate. Breathe all the way in, deep into your belly, feeling it rise and fall.

Do something interesting today. Shake things up a little. Don’t hesitate. Don’t think too much about it, just go for it. Have a little adventure. Flirt a little. Surprise someone special. Plan a date night. Make a fancy supper. Indulge a little. Splurge. Splash out.

Harness the energy of Harmony, of joy, happiness and connection. Pull yourself into the moment. Look around you. Take time to experience deep gratitude for all the magic.

Emotional Balance

Emotional Balance, from the Chakra Insight Oracle Card deck, by Caryn Sangster, artwork by Amy Edwards

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Emotional Balance, from the Chakra Insight Oracle Card deck, by Caryn Sangster, artwork by Amy Edwards

Emotional Balance: “Stability ~ Harmony ~ Peace ~ Fluidity”

“When your own cup is full and balanced, you will naturally have more to give and share with others.”

Card Story: “Rays of morning sun meet the mists of a new moon as a spectrum of full, balanced colour pours into a golden chalice. Water rises steadily, radiating a soft glow from all sides. Soon it will naturally overflow, feeding life within the wide open field around it. There is calm and peace here, and this cup pulses with pure potential – the essence of a life fully lived within the chalice of Emotional Balance.”

Card Message: “Our emotions are the creative engine of our experience. They are like the fiery steed that pulls the chariot of our life. If we want to know what we are creating or why things are showing up in our life the way they are, we must look first to the thoughts and feelings we generate on a daily basis.

There is an ancient saying that says, ‘Energy flows where our attention goes.’ Where we turn our focus, emotions build and experience follows. It is time to consider this wisdom in the emotional balance of your life.

Taking time to ‘fill our cup’ on the inside creates a powerful, balanced foundation for all of our actions in the world. Likewise, when we bring out attention to creating order, peace and balance in our external lives, this also facilitates harmony within. From this stable and balanced place we find ourselves more equipped to respond to life’s experiences and the emotions arising from them.

See your emotions as a natural river, cleansing, filling and flowing onward from your cup of life. Acknowledge and express your feelings. Do not let your feelings overwhelm you, but do not ignore them either. Do not allow them to build up inside to the point of bursting. Give yourself space to feel, express and integrate the energy of your emotions as they flow through you.

It is time to focus on cultivating emotional balance within. Everything else in life will fall harmoniously into place as a result.”*

~ By Caryn Sangster

Our feelings are the fuel that ignite our intentions, bringing them to life. It is the secret to full creative manifestation and co-creation. You quite literally get what you feel. You can want and desire. You can hope and you can dream. But if you feel like none of it is ever going to happen, then you won’t get what you are wishing for, you will get what you feel will happen. Or, at the very least, you will create a big block so that what you desire can’t find its way to you.

If you want the dream job, or the dream relationship or whatever it may be,  you have to feel like it’s possible. You need to know it with conviction that somehow it is going to happen. You can’t feel like everyone else gets it and you don’t. Or that everyone else deserves it and you don’t. You can’t worry about how it’s going to happen, or focus on why it isn’t happening. You just have to decide it will happen and get excited about that. And then get on with your life, knowing that everything will work out in perfect divine order.

If this is a stretch for you, as it is for many who have fallen into the habit of worrying, doubting, comparing themselves to others or feeling that things never go your way, use affirmations to trick your brain into feeling differently. Take your unique situation and make the best affirmation you can possibly make and use it as your magical elixer. Write it down. Say it out loud. Repeat it in your head whenever the doubting ego starts to kick in. Be mindful of your thoughts and feelings. Learn to focus on what you want and let the rest fall away.

Balance your emotions and use their powerful energy to your advantage, they are your biggest tools to build the reality you desire… that one that lies just beyond your wildest dreams.

And so it is

The Standing Stone

The Standing Stone, from the Green Witch Tarot, by Ann Moura, Artwork by Kiri Ostergaard Leonard

Daily Angel Oracle Card: The Standing Stone, from the Green Witch Tarot, by Ann Moura, Artwork by Kiri Ostergaard Leonard

The Standing Stone: “Standing stones are symbols of authority, boundary markers, and monuments. As objects of power and balance, unyielding and strong, blending earth and spirit energies, they once formed a meeting place where people in a community could decide issues and settle individual disputes before the gods. In this circle of smaller stones, smaller stones, a community council could sit in arbitration or discern justice, hearing evidence and rendering a decision. The tradition of engraving stone obelisks and tablets with the laws of a society relates to the power of the megalith and here symbolizes concepts of Craft practices. The stone has been carved with the triquetra symbol of the Triple Goddess, the scales upon which the facts of a matter can be weighed for a balanced and impartial decision, the Craft ethic of ‘harm none’ for fairness and compassion, and the labyrinth signifying the path one must follow to reach the heart of the matter and find the truth. The path leading to this circle of stones passes through the dark forest, and yet the light of truth shines through the trees to illuminate the stone and ensure that the truth shines through the trees to illuminate the stone and ensure that the truth of the matter will be revealed.

Objectivity is emphasized when this card appears in a reading. The Standing Stone shows that one has gathered information and fairly evaluated a matter, and may therefore trust the decision reached. When paired with the King of Swords, this card indicates a legal matter or court decision. The level of success in this issue may be revealed by the surrounding cards.

The shadowy forest shows that nature also has a hand in justice, for while there is law, there is also the law of returns, karma, and retribution achieved by the actions of others who carry out the decision and return the scales to balance. The small grassy clearing is sprinkled with daisies, for truth, authority, harmony, and communication. While a spider, a symbol of power, wisdom, and balance, weaves a web between two of the stone circle stones.”

Meaning Of The Card: “Objectivity, Impartiality, Trust Your Own Decision, Fairness, Balance, Truth, Virtue, Honor, Law, Prevail In A Legal Matter, Equilibrium, An Agent Working On Your Behalf, Advice, Consideration, Conscience, Impartiality, Equity, Reward, Verdict, Retribution For The Aggrieved, Harmony, Natural Law.”

As Challenger: “Misrepresentation, Bias, Intolerance, Legal Action Delayed, Complications, Gossip, False Accusation, Tedious Bureaucracy, Cloudy Perception.”

Prompt Words: “Objectivity, Fairness, Trust Your Own Decisions.”*

~ By Ann Moura

This is a message of facts and of the laws of Nature. There is no getting caught up in emotion here, of succumbing to the victim mentality or of drowning in our sorrows. There is also no room for falsity, bravado or deception. This is a message of truth.

Justice will be served. The equation is karmic, mathematical. The jury cannot be swayed with tears or false promises.

Boundaries are in place. Intimidation is not possible. Truth is critical, vital.

Make your decisions based on the Highest Good and they simply cannot go wrong. Create from a heart centered place, but not emotional. There is no need for retribution, only for fairness and equality here.

The only way out of a current dilemma is through the truth. The mind plays tricks but the heart will lead you with honour.

Ten Of Earth

Published September 21, 2017 by Dee ~ Archangel Oracle

Ten Of Earth, from the Dreams Of Gaia Oracle Card deck, by Ravynne Phelan

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Ten Of Earth, from the Dreams Of Gaia Oracle Card deck, by Ravynne Phelan

Ten Of Earth

Keywords: “Syntheses, Harmony, Highest Ideals, Reward, Inner Peace, Authenticity, Grace, Look Within”

Key Phrases: “A time of reward. Everything is coming together. Move through life with surety. Understand your place and purpose. Do not be daunted by change. Strength gained from experience. Why do you feel a lack? Dissatisfaction and discomfort.”

Card Meaning: “The Ten Of Earth symbolizes all aspects of life coming together as a whole. Career, home, family – all are in harmony. Years of dedicated service to family, career, and community have reaped the highest of rewards – the love, respect, and trust of family and peers. This love, respect, and trust are a reflection of what is felt within, and inspire a sense of well-being and connectedness that enables one to move through life with both grace and ease.

The Ten Of Earth is an affirming card. If it appears in your reading it signifies a time of reward. It also asks, ‘Have you embraced the highest of ideals – to lead a fulfilling life spent doing something that you love, to raise your children to become happy and confident adults, and to know and understand your place and purpose?”

At this time, be sure to remove all masks and show your true self to the world. Authenticity is a quality admired by many.

Live your life undaunted by change, also, and know that you have been made stronger by your past experiences. Now, whatever the challenge might be, you will find your center and move forward in a fearless manner.”

Potential Blockage: “You have every reason to be happy, and yet Ten Of Earth as challenger symbolizes and element of dissatisfaction or uneasiness.

Everything has manifested as you had hoped, and still you feel that something is missing. The appearance of this card as challenger symbolizes a need to determine the source of your discomfort – and if there is no external cause or reason, it is time to look within.”*

~By Ravynne Phelan

Again you are reminded of the power of just being you in the world. That the masks are no longer necessary, and that you have every reason to be here as you are. Come as you are! Be as you are! Celebrate what you have to offer the world. Be the best version of yourself you can be. Accept yourself as you are rather than wishing away another single second wishing you were someone else.

Sure there may be changes that need to be made in order to really get where you want to be. But now that you have embraced being You in the world, they will be so much easier to execute. The fear around change will recede. The fear around being accepted for who you are will fade away. Once you realize that joy is only found in being truly you.

This card is confirmation that you are on the right path. Keep going. Have courage. Things are working out for you. Something wonderful is happening behind the scenes and is soon to be revealed. Your bold steps are paying off.

Have faith and move forward fearlessly. Create with broad strokes. Grasp every opportunity. Focus on what you wish to create and know that you have every power to do it when you do it from the heart.

For the Highest Good of All and So It Is

Temperance

Temperance, from the Shadowscapes Tarot, by Stephanie Pui-Mun Law, artwork by Barbara Moore

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Temperance, from the Shadowscapes Tarot, by Stephanie Pui-Mun Law, artwork by Barbara Moore

Temperance: “She gathers herself, reaches within for the calm center, that place of balance. From her center, she feels the dragon and phoenix stirring. They twine about one another. They embrace in a sinuous twisting of scale and feather until it seems that one melts into the other. They coil around each other in a timeless battle for supremacy, choreographed in an elegant waltz of give and take, push and pull. They swirl about her in a maelstrom that assaults the senses. Like a maestro, she watches over and reins in one or the other when she senses any imbalance so that harmony is maintained.

Earth and sky, fire and water, male and female, summer’s warmth and lush growth and winter’s chill winds bearing down: these opposites flow one into the other in the cyclical and endless push of yin and yang. They are perfectly balanced against one another; in fact, they are given purpose and definition by the existence of diametric opposites.

Without water, fire rages utterly unchecked and all consuming, burning itself out eventually in a terrible conflagration. And without fire, the waters are lightless and drowning, flooding until there is only a still, silent mirror of nothing. By defining each other’s limits, they both become imbued life and become life-giving, tempered to co-exist in just the right balance, for too much of one, and the other will be smothered.”

Card Meaning: “Harmony and equilibrium, balancing of opposites, healing. Moderation of extremes, self-restraint, harnessing absolute forces, and reining the in to be wielded to a purpose. Holding opposites apart from one another denies their power of unity. By drawing them together to merge in a measured fashion, and understanding what one bestows upon the other, a beautiful synthesis can be created. Sometimes all that holds the two apart is a wall of belief. Being flexible and understanding that there is more than one way to perceive the world can go a long way towards breaking down that invisible wall.”*

~ By Stephanie Pui-Mun Law

Love can come in many forms and if we are going to anchor the energies of the Christ Consciousness back here on Gaia, we must be able to align with and present all of the aspects of love available to us. There is openness and receptivity in love, seeing the Divine connection in each and every living being reflected back to us; showing us our own connection to it. There is acceptance; loving despite where someone is at, what they have done or are capable of. Loving despite the past or the present holds space for them to align with a higher frequency in the future, even the immediate future. Releasing judgment. Releasing fear. Embracing the polarities of our differences; bringing them together in balance.

The Divine Masculine and the Divine Feminine, finally meeting as equals. Playing their individual roles and also coming together to make something alchemical, powerful and profound. The power of the dragon and the rebirth of the phoenix. With the two energies working together, anything can be co-created.

Open to possibility. Open to co-creation. Open to harmony, acceptance and to receptivity.

It is time to open yourself up to Love.

Progress

Progress, from the Tao Oracle, by Ma Deva Padma

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Progress, from the Tao Oracle, by Ma Deva Padma

Progress: “There is an old saying: “In the bright light of day all things become known.” Circumstances are accelerating toward that illuminated zenith now; the outlook is brighter and all signs point toward an increasingly more rapid progression of events.

It is also true that the brightening light of day represents expanded awareness that is revelatory and exposing. It increases the likelihood of careful scrutiny of our actions and attitudes in many dimensions of life. Anything that once was unknown, unclear, or undercover may now be brought light. If what has been developing is greater maturity and an increasing spirit of harmony, then there will be no need for concern or guilt in the exposure. When we are sincere and resolute in our approach to life, taking no one for granted, then finding oneself in the spotlight is not a cause for alarm. Rather, you can observe life more keenly and even sudden turns of events are appreciated as part of the natural progression of things, and are accepted as such. If, on the other hand, you have been working behind the scenes to embellish your own reputation or enhance your position at the expense of others, all the manipulations that have gone into such efforts are, under the present circumstances, are likely to be exposed.

The ego enjoys letting it be known how hard it has worked to finally achieve a much deserved and probably long overdue moment of recognition. And once it has been sated by the applause, it is often all too ready to start slacking off. An irresponsible or self-involved attitude is driven primarily by the need to impress others with achievements. This is a kind of narcissistic condition that only ever feels okay when others acknowledge it’s “specialness.” But indulging this tendency has the unfortunate side effect of diminishing what could other wise have been a peak moment of opportunity, simply because you are so involved in patting your own back that you lose your sense of timing. Recognizing the timeliness of things requires a single-pointed attentiveness in order to discern the subtle signs of change that support your next move.

Working in accordance with the time will sharpen your attention and your ability to sidestep the inconsequential. It is wiser to put your energy into increased alertness as soon as a cycle begins to peak. Otherwise there is a danger that when the opportunity for progress is at its height, you will be snoozing under a shady tree, lulled to sleep by the assumption that you have already done enough and now it is time for a nap.

Being alert now to the subtle nuances of what is happening around you will help you to stay self-contained and energetically supported by the steadily increasing wave of progress that characterizes this time. The positive effects of your endeavors will be naturally and effortlessly multiplied for one and all. Taking care of the business at hand helps you to keep your feet on the ground in spite of your being in the limelight. This is not to say that the sweetness of the moment should not be savored. There is no full stop in the journey of life; rather , the journey itself is the goal.”*

~ By Ma Deva Padma

This message is a reminder to us all to examine our motivations in life. Why do you do what you do? How do you define fulfillment in your life? Success? Abundance? Prosperity? Are these things materially based? Do you have to compete to get where you want to be in life? Do you feel that there may not be enough to go around so you must hoard and protect what you do have… or do you feel that having just enough all the time is… enough?

Complete realization of our motives is freedom in itself. We can then decide whether the work is worth the payoff; karmically as well as physically. If we have to step on others to get where we need to be, what will the end result of this behaviour be? If we share what we have as much as we can, how will that affect the people in our lives? If you had enough to get you through today, without having to worry, would that weigh in as success?  How do we teach our children what is possible for them… is it through example? What example are we setting?

We are entering a new time, an abundant time, a prosperous time. What does that look like in your mind? Do you imagine driving a fancier car, having a bigger house, eating out more, traveling? Do you imagine private schools or private jets? Or do you imagine being secure, satisfied, balanced, harmonious. What’s the difference?

There is always a choice between doing what you love to do ~ seeing your time as valuable currency ~ and having the means to show the rest of the world your success. The latter doesn’t really seem to be working for many, as it changes the dynamic to a “more” mentality… where it’s just never enough. And that isn’t a joyful place to be.

Illumination has a huge element of joy, of inner peace and calm. You can’t buy that. You have to make it happen.

Gebo

Published May 29, 2017 by Dee ~ Archangel Oracle

Gebo, from the Viking Oracle, By Stacey Demarco, Artwork by Jimmy Manton

Daily Angel Oracle Card: Gebo, from the Viking Oracle, By Stacey Demarco, Artwork by Jimmy Manton

Gebo: “Seek equality in your relationships, especially intimate relationships. Avoid people pleasing and co-dependence. Family and work harmony is paramount. You will be acknowledged for your fine work and your good deeds. A gift will be matched. There is natural justice that runs through life ~ this will be upheld.”

“We agree to union,
One that is sacred and equal,
Side by side.
A gift is given,
Circles back in kind.
Harmony is won,
Justice is invited.
I am Gebo.”

“According to Viking lore, marriages and other unions were created under vows made to the gods. The meeting of souls in these sacred unions was not taken lightly. There were expectations on both sides. Harmony in marriage, equality in provisionary duties and  parity in kinship roles all were valued by the Norse people. Even the gods were called upon to provide guidance and protection in return for the worship, sacrifice and honour they received.

While as modern people, we may not relate completely to the ethical standards of the Vikings, we must understand that, in lieu of sophisticated court systems, they held to a process of justice and judgment that was weighted on the severity of the transgression. Gebo (pronounced “gay-boo”) reflects this balance. What was ‘given’ to someone, be it positive or negative, was expected to be returned. So, if a host received their guest with hospitality, providing them with food, drink, shelter and safety, all this was given with the expectation that the host would receive equal hospitality one day. Or, at the very least, that their guess would respond by being trustworthy. On the other hand, if someone acted with cunning and trickery or destroyed another’s property, this too would be repaid in kind.

Gebo also asks us to heed the laws of nature and find harmony with them. If we humans work as a part of nature not apart from nature, there are countless benefits to be had, not the least being improvements in our own mental and physical health and the sustainability of our planetary resources.”

Gebo as Challenger: “Remember, regarding the nature of gifts, if the gift is not of good intent, this will be returned in kind to you. There may be falsity in someone’s generosity. Justice will be done. If you have been on the side of injustice, justice will be done and wrongs righted.”

Element: Air

~ By Stacey Demarco

We will heal collectively when we reach the perfection of balance and harmony between the masculine and feminine energies. In order to find this balance, we must look within ourselves and to our closest relationship dynamics.

Who holds the power? Is it an even give and take, or is someone running the show? Have you given your power over to another? If you are unsure about this, look at how you feel when you interact. Is there resentment present? Even fear? Is there compromise on one persons behalf that is not matched by the other? Are decisions made in order to please or appease someone rather than for the greatest good of all involved? This is when the scales are out of balance.

The Divine Feminine is the receptive, creative, feeling and nurturing energy. The Divine Masculine is the action, the protection, the thinking, the focused intention and direction. When these two come together within each of us, as they should, balance is attained. When they are unbalanced within an individual it will be mirrored back to them within a relationship; that is often when things start to go sideways. That is where the lesson lies.

If you see yourself as all Feminine or all Masculine without much to connect these two energies, that is where your inner work starts. When you can balance these within yourself, you can balance them outside too. Perfect Yin and Yang, the circle complete. When we each face up to what is going on with us internally, we can heal and move forward, whole, empowered and sovereign beings.

As we do this, balance and harmony are achieved. It starts with each one of us; we can heal the collective.
