Knight Of Cups as Challenger: “A withdrawing of affections; a quarrel with a romantic partner; declining an offer of love; a delay before a new romance will begin; an expression of emotion was misinterpreted; dreams of love have been abandoned; a lack of belief in one’s worthiness for love; a lack of confidence in one’s romantic abilities; a need for greater romance; bad manners or a lack of refinement; denying one’s emotions or softer side; a person whom the card represents is having difficulties or is in opposition to the querent.”

Magickal Uses: “Use in love magick to represent a lover or the idea of grand, romantic love, or use in conflict resolution spells to manifest an offer of peace being extended. Can also be used to represent proposals and other offers.”*

Can you step out of your own way and accept what is yours? Sometimes we wish and pray and hope for something so much, that when it comes, we are so used to living in the lack of it, we don’t know what to do with our new opportunity. We may block it thinking that it is just too good to be true. We may think that we don’t deserve what is on offer, or feel that we aren’t ready yet. Or worse, we can project the past on to the future and think that we are going to have the same patterns play out. Let all that go. Expect only the best and move forward fearlessly into the new.

It’s time to open up. Receive what is on offer. Be in the moment and of the moment. Do not let fear hold you back. This is what you have been waiting what may have felt like a millenia for; maybe even looked at others and wondered why they had it and you did not. Love of self is key; it is the bridge between the old life and the new. That knowing, that trusting in the flow of universal consciousness. Knowing that the Universe has your back and that what is yours will come to you.
