Two Of Wands:

Card Message: “You need to pause and contemplate where you are, where you have been and where you are going. You are at a crossroads. Plan before you take any action. You are in a position of power and can now take time to do so.”

Card Outcome: “You will soon reach a crossroads. You will look back over where you want to go. You may start to map out a plan to explore new directions and may become established, independent, and ready to expand.”

The Dream: “After a long climb, a man stands alone on a mountaintop leaning on his staff. There are no signs of fatigue; he has simply paused for a moment of contemplation. He calmly considers the choice of four directions available to him, shown by the two crossed wands. In this peaceful moment of rest, he recognizes his own abilities and power, as the land below is his dominion. He alone has inherited this place and he is now ready to assert himself. He has no doubts plaguing him because he has balanced his masculine and feminine sides, thus obtaining true power. The future appears as a time of growth and renewal. He carries with him the tools and the knowledge of how to use them to make his future a bright one. The butterfly symbolizes his thoughts for a new directions and explorations. He is strong and confident in his expectations. Free, for a time, of the distractions in the valley below, he can now decide upon his course of action.”

The Awakening: “You have become established and independent. Now you are prepared to take charge of property; you have the enterprising knowledge to lead to prosperity. Because you are now in a position of decision making power, the fears that you have experienced in the past no longer hold sway. This is a time to map out your plan before you return to the day to day reality of putting that plan into action. You can be master of all you survey.”

The Enchantment: “Lie face down on the ground. Place your palms flat upon the Earth and rest your face on your hands. Be aware of the look, texture and smell of the soil. Relax and let the Earth’s powerful strength flow up and through you, literally grounding you. Repeat: ‘Let the strength of the Earth fill me. Let it renew me and help me to grow in full abundance.”*

You are in charge of your life. Full responsibility. You are in a position of power here and must use it to the best of your ability.

There is a big decision that needs to be made and you are the only one who can make it. It is pivotal. It could quite literally change everything. And you don’t need any help to do it. It’s not a time to moan or complain, and it is not a time to bounce ideas off others. It is a time to take a break from it all and do some thinking. Be decisive. Make a plan.

You most likely know exactly what needs to be done in order to move forward. But you stand at the crossroads. Maybe you have been trying to make a decision for a while now, but you have been putting it off. Maybe you keep changing your mind. Maybe you have been weighing several different options and have come to a standstill. Well this is a luxury you no longer have. A decision must be made and soon. You have exciting things coming up here, do not be afraid to make changes. It will all turn out for the better.

Notice that in the card image, there is a butterfly at the top, indicating transformation. Also note that although a decision must be made, the man in the image looks as if he knows exactly which way he must go, and he appears to be fully equipt for the journey ahead of him.
