The Feminine is part of all women

All women are the Goddess

All women have wisdom

all women are Sophia

Sophia (pronounced sew-fee’ah) in Greek, Hohkma in Hebrew, Sapientia in Latin, all mean wisdom. THe Judeo-Christian God’s female soul, source of his true power, is Sophia. As Goddess of wisdom, her faces are many: Black Goddess, Divine Feminine, Mother of God. TO the Gnostic Christians, Sophia was the Mother of Creation; her consort and assistant was Jehovah. Her sacred shrine, Hagia Sophia in Istanbul, is one of the seven wonders of the world.  Her symbol, the dove, represents spirit. She is crowned by stars, a Middle Eastern icon, to indicate her absolute divinity.

Meaning of the Card: Pregnant Sophia holds out her cup of wisdom to you. It is time to connect with your own deep, enriching wisdom, time for stillness and introspection, time to listen to what needs to be heard. Perhaps you are in a situation where you need guidance. Perhaps you find yourself in  similar situations over and over again. When you take the time to listen to your own inner Sophia you can get what you need.”*

There is so much Goddess energy surrounding us right now! I have been wearing my favourite Moonstone pendant and feeling the connection to her powerful energies, the flow of wisdom and divinity washing over me and through me. I feel like the above depiction of Sophia embodies the bright shimmering light radiating out from the stone and from me, as I know that a part of her resides in me, as she resides in you. This energy is empowering us as it connects us to every aspect of our own Divine femininity, nourishing our Soul and setting our spirit free.

We are all imbued with the essence of Sophia, we have only to intend to learn more about this aspect of ourselves. We are magical and powerful and strong. We are ultimately free. We are beautiful on a Soul level. When we acknowledge this in full self acceptance and love, we set ourselves free to live our true authentic life path.

Take some time to connect with your own inner Goddess. Feel her filling your heart with love. Shine her out into the world and inspire those around you to seek her within themselves. Together we can reconnect to ourselves and to each other, the Earth and all life.

Together we can heal.

Together we can soar.
