Thank you. Yes, you! For reading this. I so appreciate it, really I do. I have my moments, believe me. I used to worry I wouldn’t know what to write. Sometimes I feel like I just don’t have time for one more thing in my life. And each time I think one of these silly things… a wonderful thing happens. I get a message, or a comment from someone telling me that it helped them. That they heard what they needed to hear. That the messages somehow helped them through a tough time or gave them some insight. And I step back and I let the Angels do their work. Cuz it’s not me, I’m just grateful to be a part of it…

So recently everything I own, well, let’s not play with the Universe just in case… we won’t say everything, we will be specific… my car, my computer, my TV (which honestly I could care less about and probably will not replace) my fridge, the hot water tank and my blender all broke in the last couple of weeks. Seriously. The car was a big one, the transmission blew. Ya, yikes. I am forever grateful to my parents who helped bail me out of that one. The computer too but I’m going to pay it monthly. The blender was a silly one, slipped from my hands and smashed everywhere, the glass part. Not a big deal but the last straw at that moment in time. Lastly, two days ago, my fridge threw in the towel and I discovered the hot water tank was leaking. Sigh… all part of the process right?? So, here I am, also grateful for a new fridge that hasn’t yet arrived and that we get to pretend we are camping by living out of a giant cooler. And the new hot water tank that will provide us with hot baths and showers…(Let’s just throw it out there to the Universe while we are at it that I am also very grateful that I am about to win the lottery to pay for all this stuff!!)

All this on the heals of the worst break of my life so far. My marriage. A family torn apart. Another statistic. But you know what? I’m grateful for that too. I finally get myself back. Starting right now. I get to create and manifest freely. Is it easy? Well to be totally honest, not so far, but I’m trying to work that into my manifestation and it’s getting better, I know it is. Effortless manifestation. Grace and Ease. I believe I will have another chance at love. No games. No manipulation. No cheating. No lies. I’m not settling for anything less than True Love. Co-creation. Sacred Union. Radical honesty and authenticity. Unconditional Love is possible, I have Faith. And for now, I strive to find these qualities within myself and strengthen my connection to the Divine as I heal and become stronger than I have ever been. I also work to love and accept myself unconditionally and affirm that I am worthy of this kind of big love.

To be clear, I am not sharing any of this for sympathy, only to give you a glimpse into my life as I don’t usually write much personally and when it comes to gratitude, that is about as personal as it gets right? Maybe because of all the turmoil I somehow magnetized stuff breaking down into my reality. Maybe I have been subconsciously holding on to the fears that go with being a single Mom and have brought this forward to prove to me that I’m still standing, it’s just material stuff, no big deal. Or, maybe it was time for some things to complete a cycle and move on. Ok Universe, I got it, completion, moving forward, transformation, change, letting go… now can we stop breaking stuff! Geesh! And to think Mercury Retrograde is just beginning! But, alas, maybe it was just to stir things up and make me look at everything differently, from a gratitude perspective. It made me realize that as long as we are healthy and safe and surrounded by love, we are winning, no matter what. When material things are being taken away, I do believe that, although it can be challenging, it’s always good to focus on what you do have and how grateful you are for having it. My kids will always come first.

Moving on to the most important part of my life: I’m grateful for my kids. They are my whole world, really. Two amazing beings that picked me to be their (sometimes frazzled, overwhelmed and frustrated… working on it!….  striving to be eternally patient, but always loving and completely devoted) Mother. Wow, how did I get so lucky.

I’m grateful for my family. We are healthy. We love and support each other. We talk. We get along. I am grateful for that.

I have awesome friends. I am grateful for each and every one of you. Yes, you! Love you!

I have a small hair salon, which is not only my bread and butter, but often my social life! I am so thankful I have this and can work around my kids. I am also so happy that I have my jewelry and my readings and my blog. Full of gratitude.

I’m also grateful for yoga, which has pretty much kept me sane for the last few years and particularly the last few months. I love the studio I go to (Found City shout out) the community and the awesome instructors. And I am so grateful for the opportunity to showcase and sell my crystal healing bracelets, what an excellent opportunity, thank you Owl!

I am so thankful for my lovely apartment that is now painted my favourite colours and looks exactly how I’ve always wanted it to look. (good manifesting!)

I’m grateful for my little black and white dog. A little ball of happiness and love; with tons of personality and a bit of an attitude.

I’m grateful that I have been able over the last couple of years to improve myself by taking my Reiki Masters, Sound Healing, Herbal Apprenticeship Program and Yoga Teacher Training… my toolbag is getting bigger! And I intend to keep adding more tools! And more like minded people to share them with. Community is everything and I feel honoured to be a part of such an amazing one here.

I’m grateful for our Great Mother, Gaia and her abundance of miraculous creations. Every tree, flower, animal and body of water. May we figure out how to repay her for tirelessly providing her bounty. The air, the water, the fire, the ether. The sun, the moon, the stars, the planets, our solar system, the cosmos. Thank you for allowing me to witness and be a part of these miracles. A part of All That Is.

I’m forever grateful to my Angels and Guides, the Ascended Masters, Archangels, Fae, Elementals and Beings of Light who have been working with me and continue to strengthen the connection to the Divine.
